Lori, at the risk of sounding like I'm insane, I would like to share with you an Old Wive's Tale that I find comforting: if someone is being mean to me, I write his or her name on a piece of paper and I throw it in the freezer to get them to "cool off." However, if I hate them and wish them ill (and I'm thinking this applies to your step monster), I write their name down on a piece of paper, get a small container, pour vinegar in it, and then "freeze their name" in the vinegar.
Yes, I know. But it makes me feel better. If I really hate them, I spit in the vinegar before freezing it.
Now, before someone finds me completely vile, this has really only applied to politicians who've screwed our town or our taxes and managers at work who are responsible for messing up my personal life to a very considerable degree or who have been responsible for policy changes that directly affect my paycheck. It also applies to every manager who is a "do I as I say, not as I do" type of manager.
The first time people became privy to what I was doing, they were helping themselves to ice for beverages I was serving, and all these pieces of paper came flying out of my freezer, and I had to explain it. My practice has caught on with some. Others think me crazy.
Now, onto breastfeeding ... Is it a case where she was trying to draw attention to herself? I mean many women breastfeed and the average person walking by wouldn't even know it. And, if she weren't being discreet, I bet if she had done it in the bathroom, no one would've noticed or cared. I just hope she doesn't take Universal and NBC for a big payday and the Simpsons ride gets pushed out to 2013. I guess I don't get the big deal about "covering up." She could've covered up and still breastfed her baby.

I know it can be frustrating when your "connections" aren't working
seemed like a good idea @ the time ..... Appears as though i'll need a chain saw to cut thru the rind? Anyone have any words of wisdom? It's intimidating me; looks rather creepy there on the stove everytime i pass thru.
I haven't got a clue on what to tell you except google it
Well, let's just say, that shut her up!
I was so discreet about breastfeeding, my Grandfather had NO idea what I was even doing!

awww..that's a shame....really...it's the thought that counts!

No extra hour of sleep for me....just extra hour in the day
....seriously!
, so gots a bike instead
And as for the second time around, I think you made the right decision to not even put yourself thru that stress ... if you're stressed, forget it, it won't happen. Already knowing your body won't do it, you eliminated a lot of stresss on you and your other boys and did what was best for your son....
