Snow White Does the Creep on the Trip that Almost Wasn't A Dec 11/Jan 12 TR 7/24 NEW

The Osborne Lights are so incredible. That was one of my favorite parts of our last trip. It really exceeded my expectations.

HAHAHAHA THE PHOTOBOMBER! omg. That is too funny.

Ick... those breadsticks don't look or sound good. Sorry that happened to you. So gross!

Yay for double digits though!! :yay: OMG... the DxDP is intimidating. I don't know if we would be able to eat all that food and that is really something coming from me LOL. But i'm sure you had an awesome time planning out all your ADRs! yay!

And p.s. Oliver & Company is totally underrated! Love it!

Love the Osborne lights!!!

I really want to do a Christmas season trip but I'm not sure that will ever happen :sad2:

As for must do ADR's... for us it is Hoop de Doo, Raglan Road and Citrico's!!!
I also love Crystal palace and Tusker house as before opening ADR's!!

First of all - how SCARY to be choking like that! You poor thing! That kind of thing really frightens me; thank goodness you were ok! I can't believe you know someone who won part of the Mega Millions! That's crazy! Forget Yoohoos, I'd be staying at the Grand Floridian for a month! :goodvibes Love all of the Osborne Family lights pics - even the photobombed one! hahahaha! I keep expecting to see one of us in someone else's photos on the boards - accidentally, of course, but the odds are pretty good (better than me winning the Mega Millions). And WOOT WOOT for the double digits dance!:banana::banana:

OMG the Osborne Lights! :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc I love them SOOOO much, they're like being immersed in CHRISTMAS, which, besides Disney, is pretty much my favorite thing in life!

HAHAHAHA, love the photobomb picture! :rotfl:

Oooh, I love One Man's Dream! (That reminds me, I really need to buy a Walt Disney biography for my Kindle!) We have only been through it once though, can you believe that! We'll have to fix that in May! :woohoo:

We can never make it til the end of EMH anymore, which is sad, because when we first started going to Disney together, we were all about the magic hours! Ok, well, I still am, but Brandon actually wants to sleep, so we have to compromise sometimes. :sad2: I really, really want to make it to the end of Magic Kingdom EMH in May, it's open til 1, and I have a feeling they will probably extend it til 2, and it just sounds like it would be so much fun to be in MK til 2am!!! :dance3:

YAY for double digits!!! :woohoo: :cool1: It is going to fly by! And the deluxe dining plan again, woo hoo! I'm really, really thinking about doing the DxDP in the Fall, especially if they extend free dining and we just have to pay to upgrade it, that would be amazing! Just spend the whole week eating!!!

AHHH Sci-Fi looks so good! I really wanna sneak that into one of my trips this summer! I haven't been there since I was like, 11!

Ahh $1,000,000!? Do you know how many Disney trips you could go on for that much!?

Ahh those lights. <3 How I would like to see them in person! :cloud9: Someday!

HAHAHA the photobomber. That's great. :P You've been foiled!

BAHAHAH we both talked about polygamy in our updates. :rotfl:

AHH I loved that video! That's AMAZING!!!! I wanna goooooo.

The Great Movie Ride is so cheesy, but I love it!

One Man's Dream...it's a must do for me every time. <3

Correction: Deer Face John. :)

Oh my gosh what a terrible experience! :scared1: I would have demanded the blending of my sauce. :P

Love the souvies! Can't wait to hear about MK!

OOOH YAY HAPPY DOUBLE DIGITS!!! That's awesome that you're doing the Beach Club AND Deluxe Dining! I'll give my three must do's for each trip, which are all one TS credit. They are: Kona Cafe, (breakfast or dinner, it's all amazing!) Boma, (same) and Le Cellier (lunch). For a two-credit meal: CALIFORNIA GRILL! You MUST go. It's the most fabulous food you will ever eat!

So here's my question for my lovely readers: What is your #1 MUST DO restaurant on every trip? Which foods can you not live without? I want to hear about all of your favorites so I can make the best choices for every meal! Thank you in advance for your advice and help!

Love your TR and your comments. It helps ease the pain of not being at WDW for me. As for suggestions for ADR's, if your budget can stand it, everyone MUST try Victoria & Albert's at least once. It is not a meal but a dining experience. One word of advice though, if anyone is a lightweight when it comes to adult beverages, then split the wine pairing between yourself and someone else. A full glass of the appropriate wine with each course and I would be crawling out the door! In addition to V&A, we have enjoyed Jiko's, VWL Whispering Canyon Cafe and if you want a bit of romance, make a late ADR at Bistro de Paris, ask for a window table and watch the fireworks during your meal. Ooh, la, la!! :woohoo:

HOORAY for the double digit dance! I'm so excited to read about your upcoming trip. The DxDP sounds awesome :woohoo: (and like so much food), but it'll be fun to plan it out I think. I bet you'll get some great suggestions... and I'll be writing them down just in case. :goodvibes

The Osborne Family Lights look so beautiful - I so hope to seem them someday! Thanks for posting so I could live vicariously for a bit. :cutie: LOL about the photobomber! :rotfl: He's definitely looking very smug in your photo.

And how neat for John's old friend - he'll definitely be able to buy as much Yoo Hoo as he wants! Looking forward to your next update!

I am really enjoying your trip report. You and your husband make a really cute couple. :)

Favorite restaurants -- hmmm --- a long list :goodvibes
Boma is fun and tasty
The Flying Fish was very good
The Coral Reef has been hit or miss for service but the tank and the food are good
Citricos was wonderful
Narcoossee's was even better
Teppan Edo is fun and tasty
My son loves the cedar plank salmon at Artist Point
He also is a huge fan of Sci Fi (not that you need anyone to encourage you to eat there! :lmao: )
I also think the sushi at Kimonos in the Swan is the best in the world -- but that is not part of the dinning plan...

As for the walk to the studios --- I would say 20-25 minutes --- it is a nice stroll, not so much in the heat of the early afternoon, but in the morning and evening it is great ---

Wonderful update. I "laughed out loud" during your photobombing rant:rotfl2: I find myself doing this a lot on your trip reports. You're a great writer, and I can almost imagine it perfectly.

That food update was pretty gross! I can't believe you choked!!!:scared1: That must have been pretty nasty and quite terrifying. On the funny side, I totally know how it is when your significant other gets angry and starts ranting after something happens that scares him (such as choking on food!). My fiance does this a lot, as if I could control it!:confused3

Can't wait to read more!

Deluxe dining! How fantastic!!!!! I have always wanted to do that. Someday! :)

My must-do every trip is Le Cellier, for lunch. I just love their filet and mashed potatoes! :)

AHHHH... the Osborne Lights. Your pictures are seriously fantastic! Job well done, good show.

HAHAHAHA, child photobomber! That's the funniest thing ever. He's like, "SAY SOMETHING. I'm in your picture FOREVER. Word." You still look cute though, so at least there's that!

I'm kinda glad that One Man's Dream is un-crowded so you can get away from the crowds sometimes, but at the same time it's a little annoying that more people don't take the time to appreciate the dream they're standing in the middle of. SO yeah basically I completely agree!

HAHAHA. I love the tiny Tree of Life figures! I love how completely detailed they are too. I mean hat girl even has her hands on her hips! Mother is trying (unsuccessfully, it would seem) to control her squirmy baby! AND on top of that, they were probably like, "Uhh, what's this giant doing creepin on us right now though?" :rotfl:

Ugh, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your breadsticks. Those don't sound very good. OMG that is terrifying! I'm glad you didn't choke and die. So scary! :(

AHHH! DOUBLE DIGITS! That's SO exciting! I completely agree, btw, Oliver and Company is SO underrated. There are way too many underrated Disney movies out there! As far as a must do for me, to be completely honest, it's the Crystal Palace breakfast! I'm basically obsessed! But I know you love it too, so, that information probably didn't go very far!

Yay for a new TR! I haven't been keeping up to date with DIS because of wedding stuff and my frustrations at work, but I happened to scroll down the TR list yesterday and saw your DIS name, woohoo!

Haha, I love the explanation of your title. I have an 8th grade student who claims I am white because of the color of my skin. I was like, "I'm not white; I'm Chinese," but she said, "But you're so pale!" Haha, um, that doesn't change the fact that I'm Chinese, dear one. And please please PLEASE tell me you have a picture or video doing the creep in WDW, haha!!!

Although zooming in can be quite creepy too! Yay for a new camera! Howard bought a new one for me too recently because I've had his digi cam for about 2 years now, and he's had it for YEARS beforre that and it started making a weirder noise when it was turned on and off. It still works, and I carry it around in my bag, but we wanted to make sure we had a good one for our April 2012 trip (leaving this Saturday!) and for our May 2012 trip (Disneymoon, yay!).

I love that you are awkwardly nauseous before a big trip. Not that I want you to be nauseous, but it makes me not feel so weird! I feel the same thing, and I HATE it! Haha. I cough really hard and gag all morning as I do last minute packing and get ready to go. I can feel it in my stomach now in preparation for Saturday ... oy!

I hope that once you saw that sign, you were relaxed and the nausea dissipated!

Oh man, the "being home" and "having him home" thing on the pins almost made me CRY! Ahhh, so sweet!

Your lunch made me think about how different it'd be if we were guys who could just eat our entire meal pretty much every time. It's funny because when I stop eating because I'm stuffed, I think that others around me must be stuffed too so that they're gonna get sick. I forget that guys are guys! That cucumber salad looks yum though. Light and refreshing.

I am determined to have a cupcake from Starring Rolls this year! I'm not a fan of red velvet mainly because it's always paired with cream cheese frosting, which I can't have, so I'll go for the peanut butter one. Yum. Those things look so decadent!

Sci-Fi is one of the places that will always entice Howard and me because of VMK. But like you, I wouldn't want people staring at the back of my head! I would feel bad if I were talking to Howard or whispering in his ear thus blocking the view of the people behind! The hot dog on your burger looks good with those grill marks!

HAHA, that photobomb is so great! I think it's just perfect for you to have that kid in your Disney memories forever!

Oh BOO, what stinky breadsticks and marinara! Thank God you were able to cough it out! I do think it's funny that you called it "Rescue 911 choking" cuz I used to love that show! What's with the "irrationally angry" thing though? My dad does that ALL the time! ALL THE TIME. Even when I'm sick, he'll get angry at me. Um, I'm sorry? I really didn't plan on getting up every 15 minutes to throw up. I didn't ask the kids, "Hey, please come to school with your stomach virus and give it to me!"

WOOHOO for your double digit dance! I should be single digit dancing, but work, blech~ and 19ish hour car ride, blech. At least my guy is coming with my family again!

Must do for us is Chefs de France and Kona cafe for breakfast. We are trying Ohana for dinner on our sept. trip because we have heard so much about it.

I just love your TR's. They make me chuckle out loud! :rotfl: Excited to read more as they come!!!! I love how you ramble about random things...its exactly what I would do!!! :)

Yay for double digits! :dance3: :dance3:

Honestly, my favorite restaurant is Crystal Palace. I haven't been to many TS restaurants, though. I really enjoyed LTT as well, and I thought Tony's was good, but they seem to be hit or miss.

I'd definitely look into the signatures. Narcoossee's is supposed to be fabulous. Also, the dinner shows!

Thank you! I am so excited! We're down to 95 days now!

I love Crystal Palace so much! We missed our Crystal Palace ADR last trip so we are definitely eating there in July!

So far I've got FOUR signatures booked! I can't wait to tell you guys about them!

Thanks for your suggestions! :)

The Osborne Lights are so incredible. That was one of my favorite parts of our last trip. It really exceeded my expectations.

HAHAHAHA THE PHOTOBOMBER! omg. That is too funny.

And p.s. Oliver & Company is totally underrated! Love it!

Aren't they amazing? I could seriously stand under those lights forever. They're my favorite part about Christmas at Disney!

That photobomber...I'm still not over it.

They were awful! Thanks! It was definitely a scary experience!

Haha the DxDP is very intense, but we love being able to eat at SO many restaurants! And to be honest, we got kind of spoiled when we did it in December 2010. When we switched back to the regular DDP last summer we were like, "Um...we want appetizers."

They's so amazing!

I hope you get to go at Christmas time someday! It's wonderful!

Thank you for your suggestions! I really appreciate it!

First of all - how SCARY to be choking like that! You poor thing! That kind of thing really frightens me; thank goodness you were ok! It was so terrifying! I was so shaken up after that haha! Oh so get this, it turns out that was a crazy elaborate April Fools joke. The dude photoshopped a lottery ticket and everything. I was so mad!

You're right, it really is only a matter of time before we see someone in someone else's pictures! It reminds me of that married couple who realized they were in each other's vacation photos from when they were kids!

I'm so excited! 95 days now! :goodvibes

Those lights are so fantastic...I want to live under them!!

That little photobomber...ugh. I'm still so awed/annoyed by hiim.

I really want to read a Walt Disney biography! I never have but I've always wanted to!

We actually made it to the end of an EMH on this trip, and that turned out to be the best night we had the entire trip! It was so much fun, but it's definitely draining!

You should do the DxDP in the Fall! We really think it's worth the extra money. It's so much food, but you can basically eat as many TS/signature meals as you want!

Yeah, that would have made me REALLY mad if one of my friends had done that! That's sweet about the married couple!

Okay so, turns out he faked winning that money as an elaborate April Fools joke and tricked everyone. I can't believe I fell for it!

I can't wait for you to see the lights in person someday! They're so magical!

Haha that little photobomber is still killing me...darn him!

HAHA I just realized we did both talk about polygamy. We're weird! ;)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

Yes! It's so cheesy and wonderful! I love the terrifying looking Sigourney Weaver in the Alien part! She's scarier than the actual alien!

It's a must do for us too! I love it!

HAHA it is a deer face! I stand corrected. ;)

Ugh that was so scary! I was terrified!

Thank you for your suggestions! I really appreciate it! I can't wait to share my picks will y'all!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the lights! I hope you get to see them someday too, they're amazing!

UGH, turns out he pranked everyone !It was an April Fool's joke! I should have seen it coming!

I am really enjoying your trip report. You and your husband make a really cute couple. :)

Thank you so much! :goodvibes That's so sweet! :)

Thank you so much for all of your suggestions! I really appreciate your input! :)

Also, thanks for the info about walking to DHS. I've been wondering about that ever since we booked the Beach Club. It sounds like something we will definitely do on our early morning TSM Mad Dash days!

Thank you so much for your kind words! :goodvibes I'm so glad you enjoy my reports and I can make you laugh! :)

That was SO scary! Haha I'm so glad John is not the only one who does that, because that happens anytime I almost get hurt or something and he's afraid. Boys are so weird!

Deluxe dining! How fantastic!!!!! I have always wanted to do that. Someday! :)

My must-do every trip is Le Cellier, for lunch. I just love their filet and mashed potatoes! :)

We are so excited about doing DxDP again! It's a lot of fun! :goodvibes

Oh my gosh, I love Le Cellier so much! It's such a fantastic suggestion; thank you! :)

AHHHH... the Osborne Lights.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the pictures! I'm so glad I finally have a camera that takes decent pictures!

That is EXACTLY what that kid is saying, no joke. His smug little face says it all. Ugh. I'm still angry/impressed.

Yeah, I say that more people should visit One Man's Dream but I would be so offended if I went in there one day and it was crowded. I have to be able to see Walt's office or I get ANGRY.

HAHA I'm so glad you appreciate my Tree of Life creepin'. Those figurines are so realistic!

It was so scary! I feel like I narrowly escaped a very serious TR update with that one.

That is a wonderful suggestion, thank you! We missed our Crystal Palace ADR in December so we will DEFINITELY be going there this time!

following along. Jealous of your Monorail shirt.

:welcome: Thank you! I love that shirt! :goodvibes
