Snow White Does the Creep on the Trip that Almost Wasn't A Dec 11/Jan 12 TR 7/24 NEW

I don't have any guesses about where you're going (maybe EPCOT, but it's Christmas time during this TR, so DHS would be pretty awesome... I have no idea about the restaurant at all :confused3). Anyway, I'm so glad you got an awesome ADR!

I definitely agree about those princes :lovestruc and adorable ponies and characters! :lovestruc Thanks for sharing all the cuteness! I'm looking forward to your next update! popcorn::

Ahhhh, the Once Upon a Christmastime parade! :lovestruc That is probably my favorite parade in Disney, it's so perfect, Christmas and Disney parading down Main Street, I love it! :cool1: Your pictures are so great, I can never get good ones of parades, it's so frustrating!

Awww, those ponies! I love them, they're adorable! We saw those ponies at FW on our Haunted Carriage Ride, they were so cute, they were sleeping on their sides, like a dog. The carriage driver said ponies or horses only sleep like that when they feel very safe, so they must love living in Disney World!

Hmmm, I'm going to guess you're going to 'Ohana or Le Cellier for dinner!

Oh...The Once Upon a Christams Time Parade...just thinking about it makes me want to cry. LOVE IT :lovestruc My two favorite things...Disney and Christmas. The handsome princes dont hurt either :thumbsup2

Its good to know that I'm not the only one who freaks out when you see cute animals. I do this weird high pitched scream thing and I narrate for them. Like when I see ducks, it usually goes something like this, "Im a duck and I'm walking", (then comes the background music) "mm-ch-mm-ch-mm-ch" (its supposed to be a club techno music sound). Yeah, I know, Im insane

As for the ADR, I'm torn. I think it could be Le Cellier because you were shocked that there was an ADR available, but I also think it could be Sci-Fi because its exciting. I guess I'll just have to wait and see :)

Oh my goodness, you crack me up. "I hope you're in the mood for an onslaught of parade pictures, because by golly here they come!" :lmao:

Can I just say it is SO AWESOME to see pictures of the Once Upon A Christmastime Parade... in the DAYLIGHT?!?! This is amazing! I feel like this parade was meant for the daylight tbh... this makes my pictures look like a bunch of crapola.

Thank God for your Full House reference. I adore any and all Full House references you can throw out! But look... I think that they still have his picnic basket!

The Princess/Prince float is amazing. They all waved to me and made me feel better about myself hahah. Beautiful. (Although Philip is leaving a little something to be desired. Goodness. That's a mean thing to say. I'm sorry. I am ashamed.)

Um um um... Epcot... Le Cellier? Via Napoli? I DUNNO... I DUNNO! Can't wait to find out!!! :goodvibes

I am loving your TR! And especially love all the Full House references! :) Last year when I went, I made my friend go to all the Full House spots. (the staircase at GF, the infamous piano, the coral reef restaurant, the carousel, etc...you get the picture :))

The Osborne Lights are indescribably beautiful. I just feel ridiculously happy when I am there looking at them. :goodvibes

HAHAHAHAHA OMG that is a fantastic photobomb. Ahh I'm cracking up. :lmao:

LOL I totally understand the being tired thing. We were exhausted at that point, too, and I think we left soon after you did! (I may have used up some TSM fastpasses or something first though lol)

OH MY GOD Joni!! I'm so sorry that you were choking! That's absolutely terrible. I would have cried. Ahh I hope you felt better! Sleep was definitely a good idea!

--------

Ahh, dining questions. My favorite type of questions.

I have to say that my favorite restaurants are Ohana, Kona, Via Napoli, T-Rex, Cape May Cafe, Crystal Palace Breakfast, Le Cellier, Les Chefs de France, La Hacienda, Sci-Fi, 50's Prime Time Cafe, and Yak and Yeti.

If you're looking for Signature ideas, Narcoossee's is UNBELIEVABLE! We went there on Christmas Eve and I fell in love. And California Grill! AHHH I LOVE IT! And I heard Artist Point at WL is incredible as well. I haven't been there since I was like 13 but apparently they import the salmon and it's ridiculously fresh. It's amazing.

So I hope that helps... I kind of just rambled off a bunch of restaurants there. You'll have to let me know what your final decision are!

--------

YOUR BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW?!!? HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY, JONI! It's my boyfriend's birthday today, and it was Lia's birthday yesterday! And mine is in a month from yesterday! Ahhh I love birthdays!

Ugh I'm so sorry that you both had a rough night! That really is awful. You shouldn't have to deal with that! I'm disappointed in that hotel!

There's something about POTC and the HM that just makes me love them, too. I don't know what it is. They're such classics and they make me very happy inside!

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA OH MY GOD THAT'S THE MOST HILARIOUS SHIRT EVER! I love that they actually sell that at Disney.

--------

Geez, I didn't realize how behind I was!

Aww the parade! I didn't see it during the day so I'm glad you got some daytime shots! The Mickey and Minnie pictures are TOO CUTE!

WRONG. Daisy was in there too. And they’re covered in a blanket. Are you still alive, or has the cuteness killed you all?

:rotfl2: I'm dead.

YAY FULL HOUSE REFERENCE AHHHH! <3

THAT WAS THE SAME CINDERELLA THAT I SAW IN THE PARADE IN EARLY DECEMBER! (I don't know why I would expect her to be a different one but I mean... I just like making those character connections lol)

That Naveen is beautiful. Just saying.

Ahh I can't wait to hear where you're going for dinner!

Oh, I'm right there with you sista about that Christmas parade! It is sooooooooo full of cuteness! It make me well up too!!! I mean Mickey, Minnie AND Duffy!!! How adorable! Those little white ponies! Oh my goodness!!!!! And your taste in Princes is spot on, SPOT ON (sigh). ;)

This is going to be ridiculously long because I need to catch everything up! Seeing your one tweet (I’m @jonquillas on twitter) convinced me to take a nice, long evening break and catch up on all the trip reports I’m super behind on. ;)

Your trip journal and Minnie Mouse ears are adorable! So many girls have that pair and everyone looks so cute with them on. I’ve really considered getting my own pair but I always end up looking ridiculous in hats.

Okay, it is incredibly exciting to see gas prices of $3.24/gallon! I miss those days…

We took our high school senior trip to Disney and we were all in All Stars Movies so I have a very sentimental attraction to that resort! But I’m also very attached to king beds when travelling nowadays (we have full-sized at home, which is not enough space for 2 people + 2 cats) and I don’t like the handicap-accessible bathrooms. I like the option of taking a bath and hate getting water all over the room! I feel compelled to clean it all up which I totally don’t want to do on vacation. So no grand return to ASMo for me!

Your shirt is way cute! I love the colors and pattern.

So jealous of your zoom. I love my dSLR and everything, but zoom lenses are expensive! And thus I cannot creep my way through Disney World :(

The picnic burger looks amazing and potentially awful all at the same time. There’s so many ways for it to go wrong that I’m really shocked that it’s actually good! I love picnic-style hotdogs so I may have to branch out and try it some day. With some diet soda (perfect for picnics! Especially special syrup flavored ones) because milkshakes always seem too heavy to drink with a meal.

You got some really great shots of the Osbourne Lights – photobomber included! I love when people do fun things like that (as long as I can get a ‘good’ photo too, haha) and then you can stumble on it later. I need to go into One Man’s Dream – I love both Disney and museums, so it should be a perfect fit!

And I’ve always wanted to see Abraham Lincoln’s head on a robot body.

(Seriously, that’s such a weird exhibit. Is it better in context?)

Ugh, I’ve done that choking thing before and it’s the worst. Nothing makes your throat feel better except time.

And the monorail thing – we’ve done that too! I’m awful at meeting new people in person so I come off all awkward and intense. So on behalf of all weird monorail riders, I apologize! ;)

The Swiss Family Robinson movie is really good! I loved watching it when I was a kid – I thought it was so cool to get shipwrecked and then start a new society in a treehouse (I had weird goals as a kid). I thought the book was boring (missed the whole point of it being used to teach religious morals/lessons).

The Christmas parade is so much better in the day! I missed tons of details (comparing my nighttime viewing to this one). I love the fancy princess dresses and how sweet all the classic characters’ floats are! Daisy and Donald’s is totally the best – sleds are way awesome.

Oh – and Oliver and Company is one of my favorites! My parents got to see Billy Joel perform ‘Allentown’ in the actual Allentown and I remain consumed with jealousy because I didn’t get to go too! So we went and saw Movin’ Out instead ;)

I’m going to be boring and guess either Le Cellier or ‘Ohana for your dinner.

Happy Birthday!!

I cannot wait to eventually stay at a resort within walking distance of Epcot! It's great that the military discount is so fantastic!

BON ANNIVERSAIRE/HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :yay: You're 3 days after my DD - she just turned 19!!

Hi  I've just stumbled onto your trip report and I'm really enjoying it. I think I've read one of your other reports as well.

Happy Birthday!:flower3:

Thanks! We were so excited about it! I can't wait to tell you guys where it was!

I'm glad you enjoyed the parade! Everyone involved was just so beautiful! I loved it!

I can see why it's your favorite! It is SO amazing! I usually don't get good parade pics either- these are the best I've ever taken!

AWWW That makes me so happy that they love living in Disney World! Thank you for telling me that.

Those are good guesses! ;)

Oh...The Once Upon a Christams Time Parade...just thinking about it makes me want to cry. LOVE IT :lovestruc My two favorite things...Disney and Christmas. The handsome princes dont hurt either :thumbsup2

That parade makes me tear up a little too. It's gorgeous! And yes...so are the princes!

HAHAHAHA I absolutely love what you do when you see cute animals! :lmao: That's awesome!

Those are really good guesses! ;)

I've never seen the Christmas parade at night, but I think I'd definitely rather see it in the daylight! It's so beautiful!

HAHA you're right, they do have his picnic basket!! Poor Uncle Jesse. I'm so glad you enjoy the Full House references, because lord knows I make a lot of them!

That's awesome that they all waved at you! I was so obsessed with all of those beautiful people. :rotfl: OMG don't be ashamed I totally agree with you! He is not nearly as handsome as the others.

Hmmm...those are pretty good guesses! ;)

I am loving your TR! And especially love all the Full House references! :) Last year when I went, I made my friend go to all the Full House spots. (the staircase at GF, the infamous piano, the coral reef restaurant, the carousel, etc...you get the picture :))

Thank you! That's awesome that you took your friend to the key Full House spots! That's something I've always wanted to do! I want John to reenact DJ and Steve's reunion with me, complete with tripping on a duffel bag!

Love the Parade picks!!

Can't wait to hear where you went for dinner!!

Thank you! It was so much fun!

Stay tuned! ;)

The Osborne Lights are indescribably beautiful. I just feel ridiculously happy when I am there looking at them. :goodvibes

I agree about the lights. They make me so happy too!

Hahaha that little photobomber still kills me. He was great.

Yeah that night was very tiring for some reason! I don't know what was up with us. At least you had an excuse! You had already been there for quite a while!

I was so scared when I choked, I think I did cry. Plus I was super embarassed haha. Yeah, that was a good sign it was time for bed!

Thank you for all of your dining recommendations! We went to Artist Point in 2010 and we loved it. It was SO good. I am going to try to post our ADRs tonight hopefully!

Thank you! That's so cool that there's so many birthdays coming up at once!

Thank you! I was pretty disappointed in ASMo too. We usually have had pretty good experiences there, but this was not one of them!

They really are total classics!

Haha I wish I had bought that shirt! It's so funny!

I LOVED that parade so much! It was amazing!

HAHA I'm sorry I killed you with cuteness! It got me too!

That's so cool that you saw the same Cinderella!

Seriously, that Naveen made me gasp a little. He looked like he was straight from the movie!

Oh, I'm right there with you sista about that Christmas parade! It is sooooooooo full of cuteness! It make me well up too!!! I mean Mickey, Minnie AND Duffy!!! How adorable! Those little white ponies! Oh my goodness!!!!! And your taste in Princes is spot on, SPOT ON (sigh). ;)

Seriously, that parade is too much! Haha thank you! I was VERY impressed with those princes!

Yay! I'm glad you decided to take a break and enjoy some DIS time!

Thank you! You should get a pair! I'm sure they'd look lovely on you! And the good thing is, everyone looks ridiculous in Mickey/Minnie ears! No judgement from your fellow Disney lovers! ;)

Ugh I know right? Who'd have thought we'd actually WISH gas was $3.24?!

I know what you mean about needing a king sized bed. We have two dogs who sleep with us, so we have a kind bed at home too. I don't think I could sleep with 6'2" John and two dogs without it!

Thank you! I got it on clearance at Old Navy before my trip!

I just have a plain P&S camera, but it's got a pretty nice zoom. I love DSLR cameras though. They take amazing pictures!

Yeah I think the picnic burger could be a hit or miss. Luckily it was a hit for me! I agree, diet sodas with flavoring are the BEST. I'm not a big fan of milkshakes with a meal either.

Haha I love stuff like that too, but I do love getting my "good" pictures. Otherwise I might be a little grumpy!

Oh my gosh yes you would love One Man's Dream!!

Honestly, the Abe Lincoln has really cool historical value since it was Walt's first animatronic human, but it's seriously creepy. I try not to look at it for too long.

You're right, choking like that tears your throat up!

Haha, no apologies needed! I am just an insanely outgoing person, which is not everyone's cup of tea! I can be a little abrasive sometimes I think.

John LOVES that movie, but I've never seen it all the way through. I should watch it sometime!

I have never seen that parade at night, but I'm really glad I saw it during the day. It was amazing!

AHHHH I'm SO JEALOUS. I am obsessed with Billy Joel. He is my absolute favorite. Well, him and Rod Stewart. But seriously, I LOVE HIM.

Those are good guesses! :)

Happy Birthday!!

I cannot wait to eventually stay at a resort within walking distance of Epcot! It's great that the military discount is so fantastic!

Thank you!

I am so excited to be at Beach Club! Those military discounts really are great!

Happy Birthday :cheer2:

Thank you so much!

party::cake:

Happy Birthday!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!

BON ANNIVERSAIRE/HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :yay: You're 3 days after my DD - she just turned 19!!

Thank you so much!

Happy belated birthday to your DD as well! :goodvibes

Happy Birthday!! Hope it's a great day!!

My guess is: CRT??

Thank you so much! It was a wonderful day!

Good guess! :)

Hi  I've just stumbled onto your trip report and I'm really enjoying it. I think I've read one of your other reports as well.

Happy Birthday!:flower3:

:welcome: I'm so glad you're enjoying my TR!

Thank you so much!

Thank you all so much for my birthday wishes! I had a wonderful day, and I have been completely spoiled by all of my family, friends, coworkers, and students. I am truly blessed! :goodvibes

Plus, I've come to terms with being 25. I realize it's really not old at all. Haha, I'm a nerd.

Unfortunately, my allergies are raging out of control tonight and I have a killer headache. I know I promised my ADRs for our July trip, but I think it's going to have to wait until tomorrow. I'm truly sorry, but I promise they will be up tomorrow evening!

Thanks again for all of your kind words! It means the world to me! :lovestruc
