What about the option for those of us who are golf widows? DH used to golf twice a week before he retired, and now he golfs four times a week. Many years ago, he bought me golf clubs in hopes I'd take up golf. Well, the second time we went golfing, a six foot one black snake slithered past the golf cart. I was scared enough, but then DH said "Oh, that's a good kind of snake" [it kills rattlesnakes]. IMO, if it's alive, it's not so good, so that ended any idea of me playing golf. I do occasionally ride with him, bringing my binoculars to bird-watch. But play golf? No way!
