Morning all!

I would love to do Tea!

I have never done it before and my DH doesn't care for tea at all. So it would just be me.

I tried to book Tea for the Panama Canal, but I couldn't get in to get it. I was lucky I got Palo brunch and dinner and the excursions I wanted! I think it only took me 3 hours to book those!

Maybe we could try and get a group together for Tea?

We may skip Palo altogether this time and try to do more breakfasts and lunches in the dining rooms. It is fun to be randomly placed with people for those meals. You meet some interesting folks.

Hi All,

I've added a few things to the website, in particular, you can now sign up for Fish Extenders, Secret Mickey and Lanyards. To enter this into the database, go to the rollcall page and follow the 'Roll Call Update' link. From here you will have to login using your dis_name and password that you entered. There were a few peope that didn't enter a password before I had made it mandatory, so I just made the password 'Mickey'. I haven't created a page to update passwords, but will try to get to it soon. Lanyard info will show up immediately on the lanyard page; the FE and Secret Mickey pages are next on my list.

Nice work

You certainly do, we always met some one from our dis thread and sat next to them when we were in lIne, I love to meet folks.
This is what I was really wanting to say, when we went for tea I had coffee, I am a coffee addict, big time, I am terrible!

OK what is going on with the weather over this side of the pond? Looks like weve got more snow tomorrow now!

I would gladly take snow over rain. At least with snow you can push it out of the way. Plus, you don't have to deal with mud and dirt.

If this was dirt and mud, it would mean bath time :scared1:
Besides, it is alot more fun driving on ice and snow :car:

DH's home office is just outside London. He said that no one had been making it into the office, they were all working from home!

What an adorable dog!

Too true about the snow on the puppies. Much easier to remove snow than mud-- as long as you get to the snow before it melts on the dog. :headache:

We have a corgi who is not equipped for deep snow as he is slightly height challenged. Lucky for him, we moved where it rarely snows.

I think Tea would be loverly. I am over Palo brunch, I haven't yet had a sit down breakfast in the Lumières or Tritons yet, this is a must this trip. I am thinking of doing dinner, maybe.

Pj
Lovely then! I will book 3 for tea, whichever day I can get....if I can get any at all.

A group would be fun. I think, from previous experience, that you all have to book your own and the group just has to try to get same day, same (or close) time. Palo will work with groups for brunch and put you in the private dining room, but I don't think they do this for tea.

So...as this is my first cruise and I am a "nothing" status, Will I find it impossible to get a Palo booking? Can I put my name down for a last minute cancellation?
Just love reading about the cold weather, Half of Australia is going through a heat wave at the moment and have "catastrophic fire warnings" in place! It is pretty warm where I am, you can't go outside for longer than half an hour without dripping in sweat! But relief is in sight, I am off to LA in 3 weeks, Does anybody have an idea of temps there? Jeans and long sleeves?
The new website is coming along, Lucky we have some tech savvy people here!

Ok, just signed up for Roll Call on new website, I think I've missed something..:confused3..what is CREW and CAPTAIN's dining, Is it just the times?

I booked tea for one of my friends, also I booked brunch and decided not to go, we kept the rezy and when on board we went to rokin bar d and swapped it to my dis friend who couldnt get booked.

Pilk/jon, doggy is cool.
I agree snow is better but the deer where I walk the beagles come lower looking for food:guilty:not good! beagles love to sniff them out so theve been on the leads for weeks!

Ive been eading up on gibraltar tonight, it is tax free, they have supermarkets near port (safeways and tesco) hich is handy for replenishing wine stocks:laughing: I am looking forwrd to all the ports, Hey its Monday

Who is going to do the question of the week? me miss ,me
I will do one, someone else has to do a disney one.

Whats the last film you watched and did you enjoy it?

I was forced to watch the new star trek and I have to admit it was pretty good( but I dont like star trek)

You should be fine getting a ressie for Palo brunch or dinner. Even if none are available online when you can book, you can book once you are onboard. You just want to do that right away, first thing. With all the sea days you should not have trouble with brunch and Palo dinner is everynight. Tea is a bit harder, I think. They only have one "seating" as it is also on sea days and between brunch and dinner seating. More limited, but also less popular.

The last film we watched was the first DVD of The 10th Kingdom. Really enjoyed it, but the whole film is over 6 hours! We will be watching it once a week for a few weeks with friends.

The last movie we went to see AT the movies was Disney's Christmas Carol. Really, really liked it! :thumbsup2

Thanks, We will try for a brunch while DD's are in kids club, DH is not a tea or coffee drinker, so I wouldn't be able to drag him there for tea anyway! :goodvibes

The last film I saw was AVATAR last week at the Gold cinema's. It just came out here, you guys probably have it on DVD by now, We are a bit behind with the movie schedules waaaaaayyyy over here!

Welcome aboard. Yep, just the times. Captain's Dining is early (our resident Captain Jack is dining then), and crew dining is late. I have our current stats on the home page, and this group leans heavily toward crew dining.

Current count:
Captain's Dining 14
Crew Dining 32

I would be interested in doing tea. DH would go if I signed up, but it isn't his, well, cup of tea... :) (yeh, that was bad...sorry!)
