I think that's my call too, including the Paddock pool location. I would probably put RIV as a second choice. AKV-J is the dark horse, but if and only if you'd want to have dinner at Jiko.SSR, and I'd want to be next to the Paddock pool...
On the count of a Disney resort sans parks, I would go for Old Key West largely due to its proximity to Disney Springs via Sassagoula River Cruise (or if too rainy Disney Transport buses). Old Key West also has a nice big pool too in the main area near Olivia’s, Good’s and The Gurgling Suitcase. Overall a pleasant ambience.If you had to choose a DVC hotel based solely on the pool, food availability at the pool for lunch and restaurant choices for an evening meal, where would you stay? Two adults have a one-night trip in the works, no parks.
