Pre-purchasing magic bands, what is the shipping time?

I have a trip next April, and I do want to purchase a new magic band. I know availability can change and the one I want is available right now. If I purchase it now, will it ship soon? Or do they still ship just before your trip? Wasn’t sure the changes now that we have to pay for them.

They are shipped a few days after you place the order.

I ordered 2 magic bands about 2 weeks ago and they arrived in about 5 days. I ordered from Disneystore.com

They ship within a few days of ordering.
Usually arrive via USPS within 5-7 days.

Just know that once you place the order you cannot place another.
So if you have say 4 people in your party and you see one you like is in stock but others don't like what's available at the time, if you order yours they no longer have the opportunity to order theirs at the discounted price later.

I'm sure it varies some depending on volume, but I ordered mine recently for a late October trip and had them in less than 2 weeks. If there is a band available now that is your preference, you should get it now. There's no assurance it will be available later. Have a great trip!

I am in the UK and they will not ship over seas, is it possible for the bands to be shipped to my Disney hotel of choice. Would it be problematic for the hotel to hold them till arrival or is it not the done thing/

You'll have to purchase once you arrive.
