I scan the receipts when I have something on my grocery receipt that qualifies. I don't count on them for miles and don't shop for them specifically, treat the miles like a bonus. I might have earned 80AM this year with receipts. If they make it so that I have to jump through hoops to get one I won't even bother anymore.

Does anyone have any info that I’m missing. I’m looking at booking an all inclusive and would like to use some miles for all the extras that I want. Do we not have a way of booking using miles anymore? The AM site is showing me really high prices compared to other places…like $200+ per person more. It does not even look like a traditional AI package. It appears to be a hotel+air situation. I see Redtag evouchers available through cash miles but I’ve only got 500ish miles available in cash so that’s pointless. All my miles are dream.

I’m wanting to book a Westjet package so that I can add premium and my oldest has like a zillion lounge passes that she will never use. Yes, WJ is also on evouchers but they only accept one as payment and there is still the little problem of all my miles being dream

I was looking at Disney tickets on the Airmiles site and they were also $200 (for 2) more than what I would pay to get them from Disney itself.

I was thinking about using them anyway to just be rid of them but I'm rethinking that now as I hate paying more than I have to. I find my NA flights are a good deal with Airmiles.

Do your comparison research and then decide what option works best.

Amazon gurus! I have two items I want to buy in separate orders. their categories say "Kitchen" and "Tool and Hardware". Am I right looking at the category in the brackets for the qualifying amazon categories list? Or is there another place I should be finding the categories.

The 2nd example you showed is what they go by- it becomes really confusing when that string of words scrolls over and over and then over some more! I put things into my wish list and then click on it from there and see what the heading shows up as, often different from the category i was searching in to begin with. Fingers crossed for you on the rack thing, the BBQ squisher thing doesn't fit into either category you mentioned

Dang it! I have been waiting forever to order these two things. I must have missed them on the accepted list earlier in the season.

urgh me and the receipt offers are in break up mode, once again!! I saw that pizza needs to be max 1 per receipt, so off i went to zehrs to get 4 that hubby eats for Friday night pizza and a movie night. Did 4 separated transactions, each with a different extra item or two added, came home and tossed them into the freezer before heading out to hunt down milk. Put an arrow beside each pizza on the receipts, wrote a number on the back of each so I could keep them clear in my mind if they need to be followed up. After the 3rd came back with the message nothing found i looked closer at the offer ... what the actual hell? Minimum spend of $5, I missed that part i could have done it as 2 separate instead of 4 and at least got some miles. I would never pay $5 for a frozen pizza, we'd buy an actual one from Domino's first!

that's it for me and the receipts unless it helps complete a promo. Too much effort

My last one was August 6th. Before that July 9th, July 2nd, June 4th. There doesn't seem to be much consistency.

I received 114 AM for 'Bmo Clo Am receipts 3x Bonus' on August 11th. I sort of remember opting in to an offer about this but don't remember the exact details. Not sure how long it runs for or even if it was a one off.

I am at Costco once a week and I have not gotten anything since July 9.

I shopped on Thursday August 7th and the miles posted this morning, August 13th. That, coupled with Shell, seem to be the only reliable, quick-to-post locations for me. Never amounts to much, but at least they work! Not sure why yours isn't but I'd definitely check to see if your Mastercard is properly linked to your Airmiles account.

I just had a tiny surprise on my account that I wasn't expecting (unlike the hundreds of miles I need to force myself to chase down for multiple bonus offers that didn't post properly URGH) I've noticed over the last 3 years when I book the hotel for our visits to see Arthur and his family thru the airmiles portal directly with Marriot, the miles for the total stay post within a week of the BOOKING, not the actual stay. This past trip we decided to add an extra day and I did that thru the app since it's easier - wasn't a new booking, just added a day. I've had my account set to 100% cash and 0% dream to get a few in there for the promos connected to redeeming so when miles posted to the DREAM account I couldn't figure out. I am looking at my account online today and found 6 miles posted, back-dated to June 23rd, the original date of my booking!

You must have done the trick! I just transferred all of mine to cash, but have 1820, and need 1900 for a $200 GC so I'll wait a bit and see what posts over the next week before I redeem. It's the same value honestly, I could just get a bunch of smaller ones I suppose.
