Oh for people to know:

Disney is saying arrange flights into Barcelona to arrive no later than 2:45pm on the Saturday and that transfers from the airport begin at 9:30am

We used to go bilberry picking up on our local moorland every summertime when I was a child until I left home, and then again when we were young marrieds and had bilberries on the moorland behind our house. You need hundreds for a nice pie. I remember the taste even now. Blueberries don't taste anything like bilberries.

First of all, thanks for all of the "welcomes'!

Secondly, count me as one jealous of me - it is now 12:41AM on Saturday and we are steaming for PC, just hours away from the END of our most awesome cruise yet!

*Sigh*, it really was a great cruise - the ship's crew was awesome, the excursions were exciting (4 elements, eco-jet ski on CC), the kids had a BLAST at the clubs, we met up with a great couple from our LAST cruise, and we met some great DISers!

Again, *sigh*, but we will soon start planning for our first TA crossing! Like how much is it going to cost to fly California to Barcelona...

LOL I'm ignoring this part til later in the year! Hoping for a lottery win by then

We are now able to say we only have "fifty-something" weeks to go - and in 7 weeks time it will be just a year to wait!

Hi- Long time, no post.

I have had a busy summer with work. I can not believe it is August 1st. We have had like no days over 90 degrees this year, it is quite odd.

Plus I have been busy helping my Aunt get ready for her wedding in October. She is inviting over 400 people.

I don't know if anybody has mentioned it, but BA has come out with new baggage allowances. It will only be 1 x 23kg bag for Transatlantic flights in economy. I think it is on bookings 7th October. Don't know about you, but I would struggle with going on a long cruise with that allowance. I'm hoping Virgin don't follow suit.

I'm hoping Virgin have the brain not to as lots of people will jump over to them. Any news on whether BA will offer a pre-purchase 2nd bag option?

OK, truthfully, I'll be in slacks and a shirt and sitting in Cove Cafe reading my book a lot of the time.

Let's all make a pact not to notice how many times we see each other in the same clothes.

Don't worry on the last TA one family wore the same clothes for the entire cruise and I'm not joking! Not sure if this was purposeful or not but after seeing the teenage boy in the same T-shirt for the 8th day you start to worry about sweat a lot more! lol

Anyway you only need 3 tops cause you alternate each night and people don't remember you previously wore it (or at least that's what me and my sister did). Good thing about us being the same size I can add a few extras in by stealing hers.

Maybe we need a clothes exchange on the boat as well as a book exchange lol

Been a manic weekend as I got a DS last week so been playing that and have been dog sitting for my sister. Hopefully will keep up properly over next few days.

I'm hoping Virgin have the brain not to as lots of people will jump over to them. Any news on whether BA will offer a pre-purchase 2nd bag option?

I remember seeing something about a second bag but can't remember what!!! Something about cutting down on the cost fo a second bag, but don't quote me on that!!!

I think we will just have to pay for extra luggage allowance next year, what with lens kilt and all, I usually just have to manage but 2 weeks cruise, no way am I struggling, I have a LOT of shoes!

I think we will definitely have to pay for excess baggage on the flight to Barcelona - don't expect the Easyjet allowances to be very accomodating to cruise passenger style luggage!

I hope it won't be cold at all .... I wasn't planning on taking any cold weather clothing! I am definitely in on the pact!

And today I am heading for SFO to fly out to Mexico for a couple weeks. Puerto Vallarta, here I come! It should be hot and fantastic!

As for Disney related plans, my family and I are going to DL in October for Mickey's Halloween Party. And then my DBF and I will go in November for my birthday. I'm not sure about 2010, except for the DL meet in March. We already have reservations and time off work for that one! So I better see y'all there!

I'll be gone til the 14th, but hopefully I can keep in touch better than I have in the last couple months.

Hi neighbor - wow wish I knew about that concert that would have been fun. Doing the Elton John & Billy Joel concert in November, going to San Jose though since there were only seats left behind the stage for Oakland.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Doing the 10 day Med prior and 2-3 days in Barcelona prior (total of 31 days away) so I am planning on bringing 2 regular sized checked suitcases and rolling carry on. I had to borrow my cousin's suitcase after the Panama Canal cruise - I can only imagine how much extra stuff I will have after a month away.

Sounds like a good idea - but I always stock up on new undies before a trip - it's always my excuse to get new sets!

Economy stays the same at the moment, 2 bags at 23kg, but they have reduced the PE allowance to match the Economy allowance. Doesn't make it worth the extra £ or frequent flyer points.

One of the benefits of having little ones in their own seats: His clothes, at age 2, are little, and I can stuff some more of my stuff in 'his' suitcase! With us traveling with 3 kiddos, we can pack less for them and more for us, as we each have the same luggage allowances!

(I, too, am planning on doing a wash mid-trip). We should arrange a Dismeet in the laundry around September 25th!
