Which AP did you buy? Platinum? Platinum Plus? Or Gold or Silver? Silver were FL resident only; Gold was DVC or FL resident. If you had purchased either of those but now do not qualify, I believe you’ll be given credit to upgrade to the current Incredi-pass. If you bought the Platinum or Platinum Plus that should be honored for an Incredi-pass. I believe the Plus had the water parks so that will be included. Also Photopass should be included.

My question concerns Annual Passes. Can I pay for a new Annual Pass before the existing one expires-a new one, NOT a renewal? My existing Annual Pass expires, then it will be about 4 months before I go to WDW again, so rather than renew my Annual Pass, I'd rather wait and buy a new one. However, I'll have the money for the new pass before the old one expires. Rather than risk a price increase, and knowing it will be within a year that I'll use it, can I buy one now? You can buy a new pass anytime, including before your current one expires. You will be buying an AP voucher, and you'll have 12 months to activate it by entering a park. If you don't activate within the 12 months, the voucher will convert to a credit that you can apply to the purchase of another AP or a different type of ticket.

Helped fam today upgrade date based tickets to incredipasses over the phone. No issues, paid with gc (2 gc in one case), each transaction was processed separately as the CM said she wasn't sure about trying to do it all in one. Each person got their $100 gc within a couple hours!

So I can buy a "new" pass anytime? I'll remind them that this is not a renewal. So will I be eligible for the $75 gc? As long as the answer to both is "Yes", and I can pay with Disney gift cards (so that means 3 yes's), guess what I'll be doing in the next few days.

Yes, as long as you buy a new AP you should be eligible for the GC - unless they end the offer beforehand. I paid for our new ones with Disney GCs.

We are planning a second trip during the fall of 2026 and maybe a third trip as well, so the AP could be worth it, but I don't want to pay now if it will start my year earlier than May. I hope I'm making sense.

At least I'm not the only one who wondered that! I asked the CM about that, since I knew I wouldn't activate mine for about 6 months, and she told me I wouldn't.

I'm buying Sorcerer pass's for my wife and I, and during checkout I want to add Photopass as my wife gets good use out of it. It's charging us $99/person? My understanding is, if we're both on the same MDE app and reservations together, any pictures scanned to my Magicband, she'll get access to and can save. I myself won't be able to download and save these, however. I'm not really seeing the benefit of us BOTH having PhotoPass unless I want the ability to download myself? Or did they change it where since she has the photopass, we need to get ALL pictures scanned with her band?

Don't purchase the Photo Pass option when you buy the Sorcerer Passes. Once you've bought the Passes, and they show up in your MDE, there will be a kink on the pass in MDE to UPGRADE PASS. If you click on that, you'll be tasked to a site where you can upgrade the pass. One of those upgrade options will be too add the PhotoPass. You can add it to her AP. You are correct, that everyone connected to her MDE account can use their bands to make pictures available for her to download. You will see all the pictures as well, only what you see will have a watermark over them, and you will not be able to download them. She will see everything without the watermark and be able to download.

You can make the PP an add-on as above, or you can buy her AP with PP in one transaction and buy yours without PP in a separate transaction. In any case, it requires two transactions - sorry!

I've been out of the loop on WDW for awhile now as we did DL last year. Anyway, yesterday I did our park reservations and ADR's for our Sept trip and AFTER I had everything all set up I saw that there are restrictions on APs "for a limited time" on entering MK due to the new parade!!!! DOH!! We are not doing MNSSHP this year so I just planned for a couple of MK nights on the party off nights. Now it appears if I don't have those days as my reserved park days we won't be able to enter???? GRRRRR. Should I re-do my park days & ADRs? I was hoping to take advantage of lighter daytime crowds on the party days as I have no intention of spending several hundred dollars on all that lightening lane BS. This restriction bites. How long do we think this "limited time" will apply?????? I'm upset I wasn't aware of this restriction before I did all this planning. Thoughts? WWYD??

The MK park pass changes due to Starlight have been lifted. It only lasted one week (7/20 - 7/27).

Yes, I’d call DVC MS. They may need to call another department, but I’d start with them!

IF we decide that can I convert our ticket and pay difference for a regular ticket with park hopper? It will be so hot that I am not sure we will park hop anyways...

Yes, you can pay the difference to upgrade the 3-Day 3-Park ticket to a regular 3-day PH. Be sure to check the price so you understand what the cost difference will be -- likely considerably more than just adding hopping. I just spot-checked prices and it would be almost $200 for such an upgrade.
