Sept 18 2010 WB TransAtlantic Pirates/Capt Jacks Re-Repoing Repossession Cruise Pt.3

Someone on our last cruise told us that on a previous cruise she threw away her old undies, and when she went back to her cabin, her stateroon host had taken them out of the trash and neatly folded them up again for her!!!!!!!:rotfl::blush::blush::blush:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: now that is beyond the call of duty even for mousekeeping!

the colours will depend on what I am wearing over the top :goodvibes

I have so much to sort out in the clothing dept - I may resort to some serious Ebaying soon myself - I may set myself a fundraising Ebay challenge to see me through the winter and pass the time before the cruise! - I also plan to pass the time by completing one cruise-related project each month once we get to the 12 months deadline.

Speaking of ball gowns - how many formal / semi-formal nights are we likely to have again - If there is more than one formal I may have to start keeping my eyes peeled for another formal dress! :woohoo:

LOL I like the cruise-related project. Might try this too lol

We had 2 formal and 1 semi on the EBTA and 1 formal & 2 semi on the WBTA from what I remember. I wore the same dress twice lol.

lol it always amuses me what mousekeeping choose to do lol. I know on the last cruise my sister kept moving the phone so she could put stuff on the night stand and every day mousekeeping would move her stuff (neatly) to somewhere else and put the light back. It drove her nuts lol

thanks - hopefully it will be 1 formal and 2 semi - semi formal is a lot easier to get wear out of back home, plus I have a wedding to go to at the end of August 2010, so that dress will probably double up as one of my cruise semis!

The only good thing was for the formal it was less formal than usual because of the fact that people had limited luggage space so made it a bit easier to dress lol

Dont even get me started about ones husbands undies:snooty:

I will probably just re use last years cruise dresses.
I bought 2 chinese dresses from ebay that are nice and light and you can roll them which makes them easy to pack.
I just LOVE my formal dress so will not make any apologies for rewearing it.
I say it again girls, its the shoes, its the shoes, I cant help it, I just have to take them.
I think it was because after not being into fashion for 10 humungas years I finaly found clothes and shoes.:guilty:
Must not buy shoes! I tell myself that ALL the time.

Any bodyfancy running the 5k on castaway cay?:yay:

Sarah why are you selling your pink ball gown?

Hi, Yes we have one taker from our group for a 5K on castaway cay. He said the earlier the better for him since he is a 5am riser. Just remind me as we get closer. Thankx, Karen

Mini scavenger hunt sounds cool. If you need any help give me a shout as love organising things like this. I think we did one on the 11 night Southern Caribbean cruise we were on and it was great fun, oh and the EBTA in 2007.

Also I suggested a Room Tour which I organised on the WBTA in 2007. It was great cause we got the Roy Suite as well as a mix of different Cabins to go around. People were really good and the Suites put on nibbles for us. We had about 25-30 people trapsing through the ship. This was great fun so hopefully we can sort something similar. If anyone wants to volunteer to show their room Ill collect names for now or we could sort nearer the time? I'm hoping we have a Roy/Walt suite'r out there lol.

As for the Lanyards - Eric & Jason are collating it and I know they've been mega busy. I emailed them about putting the rest of my family on the list about 2 months ago and have yet to hear back so hopefully they are keeping on top of this.

Scrapbook class sounds like fun. Could be a good suggestion definately.

Oh and secrete Mickey - as said the web super woman is moving house I believe and was on vacation before then so hopefully she'll get that up to date when she's sorted.[/QUOTE]

Hi Sarah,

Thank you for the great information! :yay:I have marked it all down. I won't get to stressed until January. :lmao: Also we wanted to form our own team for gift exchanges. would that also the web super woman too?

With regards to the mini nav, I didn't see anyone offer so that was I did. I was just going to use Linda's mini nav outline.

We were also on the EBTA May 2007. I wonder if we met? Did you do the WBPC May 2008 too?

The room tours I love! I believe I know who is in the Roy suite. Let me double check my resources and will you know. When we did the room tour, we started on either deck 1 or 2 and worked our way up to the 8th Floor. Basically, closing each room down as we went:drinking1:

We have some great ideas for the scavenger hunt. We are doing the double dip in Nov 2009, and were going to do a dry run with our friends the unsuspecting souls they are.:lmao:

Back to just being a stay at home mom! Karen

Hi Everyone,

If these have already been spoken about and other people are in charged, please let me know who I have to contact via a pm(private message) so i don't miss response on the thread. Thank you for guiding me!

Hi,
I am not sure if anyone has taken the lead on the scrapbook class and the mini-navigator.

If no one else has offered, I would like to lead the scrapbook class on the TA. I have done the classes before with Linda, Seaulater. She is doing scrapbook classes on her cruises, bcn to dover & the first baltic cruise.

Also I have the template from Linda to do the mini navigator just like her.

Thank you for answering my questions and requests!

PS I was also thinking about doing a mini scavenger hunt too. Let me know if this is also possible. Thankx!

I'd be interested in the scrapbook class. Please add me to any list you have.

Heard they were reducing PE. They are also adding more Economy extra leg room seats aren't they that you pay for?

I still think PE isn't worth the money difference when all you get is extra room, a glass of cheap fizz and bit quicker service

OK just looked at the BA link and its $48 if booked online per extra bag but this says up to 10 extra bags!!!

Yes, I agree...the lugguge allowance made it good value. We would have to think twice before booking PE. Would have to look at the price of BA before we booked with them. Always used frequent flyer miles to keep the price down. I would also consider booking a virgin holiday and not use the hotel as often the prices are cheaper than to book direct with Virgin Airlines.

As a 2hr.34min marathon runner many years ago I would really like this.
I have not run for years now ( working too many hours ) and have got out of the habit, this would give me the push hopefully, although DW and I do try to get out on our bikes when we can.

On flights to Barcelona, flights from Newcastle with B.A.( good baggage allowance ) were coming in at £72 but had to go to Heathrow then bus to Gatwick, no problem done it before, noticed that B.A. have changed the 2nd leg to depart from Heathrow later this year. Great ,no bus transfer, then I checked the price ......£242 :scared1: looks like it is going to be Easyjet and pay for excess bags.

Waiting for Nov for Trans-Atlantic prices to be released, :surfweb: hope they are kinder to us.

Formal/semi formal: I think I will just take one little black dress and call it good. No one will notice, right? Or care?:)

I think DH might be up for the 5K especially as he is barred from it for our upcoming cruise in October. He is doing the 10K Race for the Taste from Wide World of Sports and through Hollywood Studios and Epcot the day we get off the ship and his personal trainer has prescribed two rest days before race day.

I would be up for a scrap booking class. I have been meaning to get started on scrap booking for years and this might just be the incentive that I need.

I am hoping for two formal nights. I bought a second evening gown this year and I would love to take them both. I love dressing up.

I am really excited that the 2011 itineraries will be released in September. Rumour has it that booking will open in early October. If this is correct, we may well be on the Magic when booking opens. That means a nice discount and OBC for the Wonder Repo Cruise.

Just wondering what hotel to book through Disney the night before the cruise. We have booked Disney air and think we will try to avoid the red-eye flight and come in early. Any info would be great.. anyone booked a red-eye before ?

Heya-

I have a question: do y`all think that we have any chance at all of getting a suite for this cruise (question mark button not working).

We are currently booked in 2 connecting cat 4s but might switch to a cat 1 or 2 if available. We are currently on the wait list. Someone posted that the Walt is taken by a travel agent (how do you know btw&). We`d take a cat 2, likely, if that became available. Even the cat 3s are sold out (we are lucky enough to be in one for our honeymoon this January).

A girl can dream big, can`t she&

My agent. (and probably the agent of quite a few of our cruisemates)
