Lake Las Vegas OCT 2008. Im in seat 4(from the front), I believe we came in 2nd.I think we were in the 3rd heat. Heck I have so many awards I think I could make a statue!

Hi- Long time, no post.

I have had a busy summer with work. I can not believe it is August 1st. We have had like no days over 90 degrees this year, it is quite odd.

Plus I have been busy helping my Aunt get ready for her wedding in October. She is inviting over 400 people.

Decided to post as I seem to have lost every thread I had saved. That will teach me to not post for 6 months.

Lots happening in my world but thought I'd update those aware of my wanderings. Catch the new siggie line - Hi Pam! Hi Everyone else who remembers me! Its been so long I can't remember who else has been on.

Oh Captain! Your Lady Luck was very nice to me on my birthday. I slipped in and out of your fair city and most importantly, I left with $$. Which promptly went to furnish my oldest DD's apartment. She transferred to Northridge and she starts there on 8/24. Oh well, at least it wasn't out of my pocket. I was going to call you to see if you had time to spare but figured it was such a short trip I'd check with you for next time. Hope all is well at your end of the world.

I don't know if anybody has mentioned it, but BA has come out with new baggage allowances. It will only be 1 x 23kg bag for Transatlantic flights in economy. I think it is on bookings 7th October. Don't know about you, but I would struggle with going on a long cruise with that allowance. I'm hoping Virgin don't follow suit.

All the more incentive to loose weight.....smaller (lighter) clothes. I think I can survive with one 50 pound checked bag....all those sea days mean a swimsuit and cover-up.

I'm guessing 5kg which is normal

I think it is almost as heavy as you like as long as you can lift it easily above your head,

When we went to ca we were allowed huge allowance from AA.
I think we will just have to pay for extra luggage allowance next year, what with lens kilt and all, I usually just have to manage but 2 weeks cruise, no way am I struggling, I have a LOT of shoes!

Whew...Seems like ages since I've been on here. It has been since the olden days of Thread 2. Now we are moving on up into Thread 3!

It has been a long busy summer. I've been busy doing field trips out at the local ranch for the beginning of summer, and the last month I've been bartending at the Napa Valley Opera House. A QOTW a few pages back was asking about what plans we had to distract from the long months until our cruise, and I have a lot of fun plans.

Just two nights ago I saw Chicago with Earth Wind and Fire play at the Greek amphitheater in Berkeley. Last night I worked side stage for Smokey Robinson at Robert Mondavi Winery. And today I am heading for SFO to fly out to Mexico for a couple weeks. Puerto Vallarta, here I come! It should be hot and fantastic!

As for Disney related plans, my family and I are going to DL in October for Mickey's Halloween Party. And then my DBF and I will go in November for my birthday. I'm not sure about 2010, except for the DL meet in March. We already have reservations and time off work for that one! So I better see y'all there!

I'll be gone til the 14th, but hopefully I can keep in touch better than I have in the last couple months.
