Segway Tour Question

We have scheduled a Segway Tour for our trip next month and we know that there is a 250# weight limit. My husband is not a small guy and has been on a weight loss program and is doing great with his exercise program and heathy eating, but it might be close. He was wondering if anyone has done this tour, and if so, do they weigh you if it looks like you might be close? He's concerned that if he's close and the scale is a little off he will not be able to do the tour, and also be embarrassed. Any information?

They didn't weigh anyone on our tour. I think as long as he is right around the weight limit (not more than 15 lbs or so over), there should be no problem.

Thanks!

I'm sure he'll be glad to hear that. I couldn't imagine that WDW would embarrass him if he was close, but I know that the Segways are pretty complex machinery so wasn't so sure how closely they had to monitor. They probably have built in "cushions". He will be glad to hear from someone who has been on the tour.
