Julie, what's an upside down boat? Besides good.

It is a banana split, only it is in a cup so you can eat it in the car. Instead of chocolate and vanilla, I get mine with only chocolate ice cream. It has strawberry sauce, pineapple sauce, chocolate syrup, nuts, and whipped cream.

YYYYUUUUMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

Wonderful Sugar Shock, I want :thumbsup2

Becca I forgot all about going to Old Navy today. I really wanted to get a couple of jeans for Colin. :confused3 Maybe I'll go over on Monday just to see if possibly they are still marked for $7.00.

Oh I loved the Jetsons as a kid. I remember one episode in particular when Judy Jetson placed her hand in some sort of nail fixer upper and out came perfectly manicured red nails. I remember thinking "how cool is that"?

I hope you all enjoyed your Saturday.

Hi Tricia!
I enjoyed today -- especially the sleeping until 10am!!!! That always throws me off though -- I just remembered I forgot to take my morning pills!!! :rolleyes1

Good Sunday Morning

Jetsons-1.jpg

When Altas grows up, he'll be the greek god, his puppy antics are Astro all the way

You got that right, Judi!! :lmao:

When I named him, I thought that with all that I've had to handle in the last 4 years that my dog would certainly be "carrying the weight of the world" on his shoulders.

His Astro antics certainly are priceless entertainment!! :rotfl:

Don't think they grow into tongues, I think it just slobbers better as they age:lmao:

I'm going to be bummed when he does grow up. His stories now are priceless.:thumbsup2

Hi Sassies! Wow, you girls were chatty last night! Wish I would have been home to participate! It shore was fun when we used to have group chats back in the day! Do you think when school begins we will settle back to normal? Tell me this dead spell will end!! I miss my peeps! :sad2:

Hope you girls are having a nice weekend. Today I need to take Heather and her friends to the mall and pick them up later on. I might go see a movie in the meantime. I's gonna kinda wanna see mamma mia again, if the times work out.

Still feeling really icky, sleeping a lot. I am taking two vitamins a day to try and get over it faster! I only have one week of freedom left before school begins, don't want to waste it feeling icky! Hillbilly hunt is still scheduled for Wednesday and I wanna feel good for that too!

Catch you hags later!

Good morning ladies.

It's been raining here since about 7 AM. Nothing too hard but steady. I think we are starting to get the outside bands of what's left of Tropical Storm Fay.

Bonnie you've been feeling yucky for a while now. I hope your last week of freedom is a fun one. What do you have planned with the girls? Mamma Mia is a movie that I would like to see again. Normally I'm good seeing a movie only once but I really enjoyed the movie and the music. It's definitely a movie I'll buy when it comes out on DVD.

Hey, ladies! There's been some Sassy chatting around here!:thumbsup2

School starts tomorrow for both Barney and I so we've been getting everything ready for that. To be honest, I think he's terrified of the switch to Middle School - all last year the teachers called that wing of the school the "no mercy" wing.:lmao: Anyway, he's packed up and ready to make that early morning dash for a "good locker". He's got his summer assignments in hand and he's making his own lunch.

As for me, I get started tomorrow but we don't have Open House until Thursday and Friday. I will be glad to get some of the materials I have collected over the summer off of my dining room table!

Julie - the Rastro stories are the best! I think you just may have to live with that tongue of his. Maybe he's a Mick Jagger fan in disguise!

Bonnie- I am sorry you are feeling poorly! Mr. FofP has the same thing, it seems. Achy and run down, sleeping a lot. I hope you get better soon!

Tricia - Yuck o weather! It seems that Fay wants to stay, doesn't she? What do the kids think of school so far?

Becca - Man! I forgot the Old Navy Sale! I was going to scoop up some cheap jeans for the Middle School Man.:headache: I may try your idea and pop in there tomorrow. Do you think they will take pity on a harried looking
mom?

Judi - What's up with you, chickie? What happened to that "Round is a shape" thing you had in your signature? I loved it! That's a joke between Mr. FofP and I. Gave me a giggle! Is UIA unemployment insurance?

Heather - aren't the Olympics inspiring? Go Kate, Go! We missed the Archery, I was bummed. I was never a good archer at camp, but I always wanted to be. Did you see the 4x100 relays in track? Looks like we need a bit of practice time, eh?

Hi Sarah and Shannon!

 Wilma

That is what it is. I figure if they won't give me some time, this will either cause them to, or they can fire me. I've been there over 5 years. It's quite sad, they feel the need to play some kind of game.:sad2:

I wasn't on vacation. :)

All things happen for a reason.

Hi Wilma!!!! I hope Barney has a fantastic day -- that is a tough age. They used to assign lockers here, glad we didn't have to make a mad dash for one. I still have nightmares where I forget my locker combination.....

I was thinking maybe Astro was a Gene Simmons wannabe....;)

Tricia, just checked your weather  Hope the rain & flooding end quickly.

My prayers for your family my friend.:grouphug:

Morning, hags!

I don't feel too terrible today! Maybe I am on the mend! Yesterday I took Heather and her friends to the mall, and I went and saw Mamma Mia (again) while I waited for them. I LOVE that movie! I love the songs too. I think I want the soundtrack!

We have our Back-to-school orientation tomorrow for my preschool. I have not even begun to get ready. :rotfl: Whatever. I work best under pressure. :thumbsup2

Judi, 45 degrees? And the heater kicked on? That is car-AAAAZY!!!

Julie, good luck on the first day back at school! Hope it's a great day!

Angus, how's the back? And how is Dwight? When do you start physical therapy?

Becca, I PMd ya my cell number, lady. Now I'll be expecting a lovely text just from you!

Shannon, have a great time at the beach, lady!!

Heather, where ya been, hag? I miss you!

Tricia, I didn't realize you had seen Mamma Mia. What did you think?

Wilma, ready to go back to preschool, lady? Is your classroom all ready? Mine is not. Guess how I'll be spending my Labor Day weekend? :)

Good morning, ladies! Just a quick post and run this morning - school awaits and the natives are restless. Locker tension is mounting as the minutes tick by. Which one will I get? Will it be near home room? Will it be a top or a bottom? Will I be able to reach it? Will I have to sneak my wiry little body in and knock out a big 8th grader to get my chosen locker? These questions and more on this episode of Days at our School...................

Luckily, life on BamBam's end is a lot less complicated. Hooray for first grade!

So, hello to all of my Sassy friends - have a great day!:)
