Sarah & Bobby's 11-13-11 WP/GF--Completed--ALL PHOTO LINKS FIXED!

I love your new dress it looks great on you! Also, I saw the Disney Dooney And Burke bag in the bckfroud, I have the same one!! :) I live it and get sooo many compliments on it!

Hi Sarah, just wanted to drop by and say your new dress is lovely! You will be a beautiful bride! You must be getting excited now, not long to go! :goodvibes

First of all, I have to say I love the comment you made "thats what the best Southern women do"- d*m* right! I have to remember that! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your new dress- you look STUNNING! :bride: And the belt! I'm thinking of getting one similar. Decisions, decisions.
I've been wavering on the candleabra's myself. We originally picked the tall hurricane glasses with floating candles since a lot of our decor is more modern, but it turns out we can't get the tablecloths we want in a runner, so everything has to change. Looking at your pics makes me want to change to the candleabras now. We wouldn't use flowers in them, either, its just too much. I definitely need another pow-wow with Elizabeth!
And I don't know if it's obvious or not- but my middle name is 'indecisive'. :lmao: I'm glad to see I'm not the only one!
Can't wait to see more updates! popcorn::

Your wedding dress is GORGEOUS!

THANKS! :cutie:

Yes, the Disney Dooney is a constantly commented on accessory that always wows! Its so great! The one in the picture is actually my Mom's. She has the medium sized one and I have the mammoth large one...it fits so many great things, how could I not get that one?!!? :rolleyes1 And thank you so much for complimenting me and the new dress, I am so in love with it!

I say go for the candelabras. They are a very cost effective way to get the elegant look for sure! That stinks about your linens though..what a bummer! Isnt Elizabeth great!?!?!? GAH I just love her! I

Im so glad Im not the only indecisive one in town...its getting pretty out of control lately :rotfl: And thanks, Im so happy everyone likes the new dress as much as I do! :cool1:

-------------------------------------------
So not much on the wedding news front.

First fitting is tomorrow :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

We decided on Kids Table decor....I just couldnt help myself. After Elizabeth (the best floral planner..ever!) sent these pictures to me I got really really giddy and made a pretty quick decision! :goodvibes

We are going to combine these two elements. Because the uplighting and adult drinks will be blue I wanted to give the kids some fun stuff too! So were going to have a wider and larger vase with the blue gel and led lights and then the mickey rice krispie treats and tissue paper coming out of the gel vase. It should be really cute and appealing for our little youngsters! Heck, Im an adult and if I saw something like that I'd immediately run for it! :rotfl:

I still dont have a name for our signature drink...we're having a hard time coming to an agreement...:rolleyes1

Only 3 more weeks until Bobby and I finally move in together! We are so excited!! He lives about 30 minutes away and after work some nights he doesnt feel like coming over, or whatever so it will be really nice not to have to say goodbye everyday...or not know if I'll see him that night. We are both REALLY looking forward to it. Although the actual moving part.....not so much. :headache:

We have lost a groomsman and possibly the Best Man...DF's brother who is in the military and is catching "heck" from his commanders and stuff about taking the time off. They are trying to work something out right now since he only has one brother, doesnt take time off, is a decorated soldier and Afghanistan veteran who will also be going back in Feb....I mean really?!?! Give the man a weekend! GRRRRR I swear if its not one thing its another...and its really going to upset DF if his only brother/sibling cant go. :sad1: So please please please please send some pixie dust and prayers our way! :wizard:

Im very patiently waiting for my planner to get back to the states so we can go over everything again and just touch base. We have a phone call set for Saturday afternoon, Im looking forward to that. Our RSVPs are due next week..Im ready to have a solid count and budget! I would absolutely love to not have to pay to much to Disney when the balance is due! Also my bachelorette party is next weekend. Im not sure what to expect to be honest, but Im sure we will have a great time. We were planning on going to New Orleans but had some unexpected changes and have relocated to Houston (where I live) I think were gonna do a nice hotel for the weekend with plenty of bars and girl stuff??? Not too sure though :confused3

Well thats pretty much it for me lately, Ill be sure to keep you all updated! Hope everyone is having a great week! :grouphug:

Those kids table centerpieces are fabulous! I agree, I'm an adult and I'd be uber jealous if I didn't get to sit at a table with those centerpieces! They're just AWESOME! I love it!

Sorry to hear about DF's brother. I'm sending lots and lots of pixie dust your way. I hope it all works out. It really stinks sometimes. Especially in a situation like that. Fingers crossed for you girl!

I really can't wait to move in with Dave either! We don't even have a place yet. But we're looking. Haha. You must post some pics of your place once you move in! =] So exciting for you.

Yay for first fitting too! Take more pics! haha. =] Can't believe you guys are soooooo close!!

Oh my goodness, my heart really breaks for you guys. I hope his brother can come back for the wedding. I would be a complete mess if my FBIL couldn't be there, because we are really close...So I'm wishing and hoping the best for you!!! :wizard::hug:

Can't wait to hear about your fitting...that should be really fun!!!

I love the kid centerpieces--They're making me hungry, actually. :rotfl:

Sarah, We're starting to get TOO close :scared1::laughing:

the kids centerpieces are great :) they're super fun!!

lots of hugs and pixie dust for your fbil to be able to be there!!

living together will be great... little stressful at first, but once you adjust it'll be great. i can't even remember what it was like living apart!

i hope you don't have much left on your checklist and can relax for the next few weeks :)

Fingers crossed and sending prayers and pixie dust that everything will work out with DF's brother! That would be so upsetting if he couldn't get a little time off for the wedding, really hoping they see the light!

But congrats on moving in together! I was in a similar situation as you, where before we were married we lived apart (and sometimes too far apart!) and I usually only saw Jason every few weeks. It's so wonderful to have him with me every day now!! :goodvibes

Just caught up on your PJ. Your dress is so gorgeous... They were all beautiful, but this last one is amazing. All your decor elements are so elegant, and those latest kids table centerpieces are so cute. I don't think I need a kids table for my wedding (not too many kids to invite) but I would love to have something like those. Also, sending some more pixie dust your way that all can be worked out for your DF's brother!

Looking forward to reading more!

Oohh I LOVE your kids' table centerpieces! They're adorable and I really want a rice krispie treat right now.

I REALLY hope your DF's brother can get the time off of work! He definitely DESERVES it!!!!! Pixie dust is your way. :D

And good luck with your move! Moving is so stressful, I hate it so much!

Sarah sweetie - loving the kid's table and I am sure they will too!!! Sending Pixiedust your way in the hope that your DF's brother gets to the wedding!!pixiedust:

Sarah, your dress is truly a beauty. You must feel magnificent in it, and I adore the belt too. I looked at getting a belt but I forgot all about it! Too late now!

EEEEEEP! things will work themselves out like always, im trying not to stress out TOO much. and just in case, i bought some eye cream! LMAO!!!!!

Fingers crossed and sending prayers and pixie dust that everything will work out with DF's brother! That would be so upsetting if he couldn't get a little time off for the wedding, really hoping they see the light!

Yes, we are SO looking forward to some good ole quality time on a consistent basis. And Im hoping FBIL's commander sees the light too.....i'd be more than willing to beat it into him...(rolling eyes)

Thanks for the pixie dust, and the good luck on the moving...im SURE we will need it! Im pretty sure Im going to help with one load and then stay to unpack while all the boys do the hard work ;) Some of our guy friends owe us some moving help since Bobby helped them a few months back...hooray for good friends that help! (so what if we have to bribe them with PS3, beer, and pizza?!?! lol, ill take what i can get!)

Sarah sweetie - loving the kid's table and I am sure they will too!!! Sending Pixiedust your way in the hope that your DF's brother gets to the wedding!!pixiedust:

Thank you thank you thank you!! We need the pixie dust! And Im so glad you like the kids arrangement! It just screams "fun disney vacay" to me!!

Sarah, your dress is truly a beauty. You must feel magnificent in it, and I adore the belt too. I looked at getting a belt but I forgot all about it! Too late now!

Aww you are too sweet! I definitely feel like a princess worth a million dollars in it, and get butterflies when I think about wearing it and what DF will think; I know he's gonna love it! :) The belt was an awesome deal! The one I tried on at the salon was like $300 and I got this one for way less than that! WoooooHoooooo!!! :) But yes, you are a little late for a belt now! How exciting for you!! I cant wait to read all about it!! :)

------------------------------------
Nothing too exciting today, y'all. I went to the fitting yesterday and all theyre going to do first is rip the back out to make it a corset (so I dont have any wardrobe malfunctions (coughjanetjacksoncough) or have to pull the dress up by my underarms all day or anything like that...and it will help with making it look good and fitting right on me. Once that is done they will work on the other stuff. I was in and out of there in like 30 minutes...so there wasnt too much to take pictures of....this time! I promise I will next time though!...girl scouts honor!

I spoke to my planner today to tie up some loose ends and whatnot, I should have our (hopefully) final BEO early next week!! :cool1:

Hope everyone has a great weekend, I dont have anything too exciting planned so I will probably take the time to catch up on everyones PJs!!! FINALLY! :)

Alllllrighty!! So it has been very busy around here lately and the to do list is certainly dwindling! :woohoo:

Here's a picture of me and my local bridesmaids from the last shower. I love them!

Last weekend was the bachelorette party..:littleangel: I had such a great time and did some serious damage to my liver, much to all of my friends' (and random bar patrons) happiness. We spent the weekend in a nice hotel in downtown Houston, had plenty of good food, convos, drinks, and laughs! It was the perfect girl weekend! Friday night was a little more tame and Saturday got a little rough....hahaha. Here's a few of the highlights...I'm sparing you all the really awful ones. :rolleyes1
Friday night we went to a place thats pretty much just like Jellyrolls, and of course, had a blast! They called me on stage and embarassed me a little.
308778_290323877644632_100000010654249_1274816_1912538428_n.jpg

After this, we requested they sing a Disney song since I was getting married there and they called me up to help them out. We sang "A Whole New World" :cutie:
Then Saturday we went and hung out by the pool for a bit (notice the Muppets on my shirt? bahaha)
303072_10101189557743624_8377860_76590020_1813017867_n.jpg

Later a few of us went out for dinner
303002_10101189558806494_8377860_76590049_747516183_n.jpg

We went back to the hotel to "pre game" and went out on the town..they made sure to make me look like a goober!
307384_10101189560458184_8377860_76590074_421952273_n.jpg

The hat said "Im tying the knot, buy me a shot" .....lots of people did and this is how my night ended....not cute.
296553_10101189565697684_8377860_76590148_1164582286_n.jpg

I didnt want it to get that bad..but cest la vie I guess. We barhopped in the trendy part of town and had a really great time. There were surprisingly a lot of Steelers fans out that night (who the Texans were playing Sunday am.) and I handed out plenty of smack talk to them all...:lmao: It was all in all a great time!

Bobby's bachelor party is this weekend, so I will be packing up things at my house and having some time with my girlfriends.

Also we have decided to upgrade our linens! We chose the silver/platinum crinkle taffeta. Elizabeth says its really nice and is right up there with the pintuck. This is the look were going for. (these are pintuck, but you get the idea)
silver-table-linens-chivari-chairs.jpg

We have finally exchanged out the "white" accessories for "ivory" now since I got the new dress. Its such a light ivory it probably would have been fine but also since it was lace to match the other dress it would probably look a little silly...plus I was in the mood for something different anyways. I'm pretty sure I change my mind like I change my clothes...its getting a little ridiculous. When I told my dad about the dress he just laughed and said I need the seamstress to come to me because if I go into another salon I'll see another dress...psssh whatever! I am so in love with mine, nothing could sway me. Sorry Vera Wang and all you other designers, I am happy with my bargain and last minute purchase! :snooty:

I've been printing my programs the entire time its taken me to write this post! I am happy to report they are DONE!! (FINALLY!) So now I just need to

Get final guest count (almost there)
Finalize Seating Arrangement
Print Escort and Place Cards
Gather ALL documentation for the wedding; cruise docs, marriage license, rental car stuff, flights, etc.
Start packing things up
Give BMs their gifts--I dont really want to fly it all there, its kind of a lot.
Finish my alterations--2nd fitting friday
Move...lol
Pay Disney final balance-next week
Speak to DJ about everything
Verify times with Beaute Speciale, etc.
Decide on Live Webcast with STVS---what do you guys think, worth it or not?

Thats all I can think of for now, Im sure theres tons Im forgetting :sad2:

Finally, in the midst of all this commotion we are moving NEXT WEEKEND!:banana::banana: Finally our own place together after almost 7 years...I'd say its time! :cutie: So we will be busy this week packing and getting all that stuff situated.

Ok think thats it for now. I'll update again soon with more as it comes in! :)

have just read from start to where we are today:thumbsup2

love the dress, love the choices you've made :bride::bride:

hope you didn't have a headache the day after yr party

moving can be a little stressful, but take a deep breath and another and start enjoying your life together:cloud9::cloud9:

lived in Houston for 8 years, still have great friends there, not so fond of the summer weather though, although the winter is great

you're weekend looked so fun!!! (well except that one picture with your shoes on the table )

we are at 5 weeks :scared1: i sent my final balance in which was probably 1/10th of yours :rotfl: but it was a lot to get together in 2 weeks, lol. between the water heater and other random disasters i had to come up with it quick, lol. i saw you got your marriage license!! how long after you notarized and sent it back in did it come?? i'm getting anxious!!

i know we haven't chatted in a while and i miss you bunches  hopefully we have another week or two of madness--then we can relax right before we go!! :woohoo:

Your bachelorette party looked like a blast! Haha I love the pictures. None of my bridesmaids drink (except my sister, and she was on a super diet and would only drink diet coke) so I knew I'd have something a lot more tame. Which I loved, but it also would have been fun to go out and have something like you did ;)
