SOOOOO......I BOUGHT A NEW WEDDING DRESS!




I was having doubts about the other one; it wasnt everything I wanted. The other one was the first and only one I tried on after losing weight, and I didnt even look around to see what I really liked and wanted. So a few weeks ago I started thinking and after some prodding from my Mom I decided to go take a looksie...I figured nothing would come in time, and I would make my dress work with a bigger petticoat or something. Anyways...we went and looked, and I found THE ONE!

Here she is!!!

Isnt she great?!?!? I just love it! I bought the sample off the rack and practically STOLE it! Hallelujah!

And a belt to go on the dress, the one in the picture was WAY too overpriced...thank goodness for Etsy!

Thats all the major news...lol. Nothing else really compares. I decided to switch to black magic roses for my bouquet, with crystal mickeys. We got some glow in the dark blue stir sticks for our signature drinks that will be blue (to match the uplighting)..the drink is still nameless, lol. Bobby keeps coming up with some lewd, crude, and definitely unrefined names; hahhaa I cant imagine my (or his) grandmother ordering a "Panty Dropping Love Punch"..bahahha needless to say we're still thinking.

We've also decided to have a kids table, and for a centerpiece there Im going to have the light up Mickey balloons from the parks tied to something. I want to have the blue lights to tie in with everything else; similar to these

anybody know how much those cost?!? any ideas for other kids table centerpieces?

AAANNNND we've changed our favors to the chocolate mickey heads!

The new dress is a light ivory, the last one was a diamond white; so we're changing a bunch of little stuff too like flowers will be ivory instead of white, flowergirl baskets, place cards, linens, etc. Not a huge deal...and that gown is SO worth it!



Thats pretty much it for now, let me know what you guys think about all this!

OMG Sarah. OMG. You look absolutely *stunning* in that dress. STUNNING. You have a perfect hourglass figure. And the bottom!!!! Your DF will *love* it and you will be a gorgey bride.

Anyway, great update! I think those balloons in the parks are prettty pricey--- like $15? (Which, granted, isn't a ton of $$ in wedding terms, but sometimes it's like "omg did I really just spend that much money on THAT?" you know? Like me and my $80-a-gallon-iced tea. )

I think you should call the drink a Blue Fairy! Just my two cents.

i hope everything else is coming along great thanks for the email... i knew i had it in a folder--which i thought was in my front seat. everytime df gets in the car, he just tosses whatever is in there to the back. i finally found it underneath a heap. i told him that if it's in a folder... it's important. we need to catch up soon. 8 weeks. i feel like i just said 9 weeks yesterday

I just read ur entire PJ in about 3 1/2 hrs I having been searching PJ's where the bride gets married @ the WP & St Aug ballroom.. Everything looks awesome Ur 2nd dress is a MILLION times better than ur 1st, I just love it keep the updates coming

yep...time is definitely dwindling and freaking me out! im searching for the folder as we speak!! computer folder that is; I know what you mean about Dave..Bobby throws crap around in the house and car like its dirty underwear! It could say "Important Do Not Throw" and he would still chunk it...le sigh!

So just a few small updates, nothing too major anymore! Im really trying to be better about being more frequent here! Thanks for following along even if my updates suck and are few and far between!


-My bridal belt shipped yesterday I am so excited to see it! My first fitting is next week, so I'll be glad to have it for that.

-We've paid off the honeymoon, finalized our documents and stuff for it; now we just need to choose some excursions!

-I found some plain Ivory with Pearlized border place/escort cards, and programs. I caved on programs...but in my defense, I got 148 cards and 100 programs for only $15.17 at Michaels! I had a coupon and some unused store credit! Talk about a bargain! The programs will be SUPER simple but Im okay with that; I dont need anything fancy. All I have to do is print and fold....my kind of project! ---I have become SO lazy...er, busy! haha

-Im in the process of selling the other dress, our centerpieces/decor, and a few other things we've decided not to use. So if you or someone you know is interested, HOLLLAAA!!!!

-My planner is on vacation for the next few days; she took 2 weeks off to go to Europe, and of course we havent spoken in a while but as soon as she goes out of town I go and make some crazy changes and have questions about kids table, etc. lol...just like me! So Im waiting for her to get back to go over our BEO again and all that good stuff.

-Hopefully people send their RSVPs back soon...so far Im going off of 9 yes's....9. I have a list of people we are expecting to most likely come...but really 9? Thats just crazy! COME ON PEOPLE! They have 2 weeks left before I start calling... Anybody else have to do that?



Thats all my updates for now, I think, so I will be back in a few days to let you guys know more! My BFFs who threw the shower are working on the pictures so Ill update with those when I get them!
