Good morning, Jamborinis and Kidanites! :sunny:

Hi Brandi,
Please add us to the list when you get a chance. We're staying at AKL for first time from Sept 24 to Oct 1. Thanks!

Good morning from me too!! :goodvibes

Tomorrow we move Tori into her dorm! Everything is packed up and ready to be loaded into the cars in the morning! :woohoo:

I figured it was about that time. Good luck to all three of you!!

Thanks Elin! Tori will have a couple days to settle into her "new" environment; then classes start on Wednesday, August 17th -- her 18th birthday!!! :yay:

Hope everything goes well with the move! :goodvibes

Thanks Kathy! This is my 3rd child so we're getting pretty good at it!!

(always a fun adventure! :thumbsup2)

:wave2: Good afternoon everyone.

:cool1: Well it looks like we may still squeeze in a trip in during Columbus Day Weekend and go to MNSCHP too.:lmao: But if we go we will probably stay at the ASMov... quite a change from AKL. When we were looking a pics of the room DS6 asked where the sofa was:rotfl: I told him just beds this time.

QUESTION: Since the Food & Wine Festival will be happening too how does it work? Do you pay at each country to try the food? We have never even considering going at this time before so my knowledge is quite limited.:goodvibes

Just book AKL Jambo House with Savannah view for Sep 24-27. DH has wanted to stay here for years.

We were originally booked at CSR but changed to Beach Club Villas with the sale that is going on. I told DH I would look for his Savannah view and one came up this am. It stretches the budget but he is thrilled.

Congratulations on your trip, I am sure you will have a great one, and I hope you get the "bonus Points" from your DH, for getting his view!

You have been added to the list:banana::banana::banana:

They have movies at the pool? I didn't know that. Who is going early in October that can post the activity and movie list when they get back? Me and DD are going October 21 - 26 and since I was able to switch resorts to AKL (from CBR), I want to enjoy the resort as much as possible too.

I'm already looking forward to getting room service at least one day. My DD will just that is cool. :thumbsup2

That would be TyRy, maybe if everyone asks really nicely we could get the info...:worship:

Hi! When you get the chance...I know you're going through a difficult time right now....can you please add us to the list as well?

Nov. 29-Dec. 9 AKL for the 1st time!

Thank you!

Congratulations for your first visit to AKL. You have been added to the list :banana:

Nothing wrong with a Value resort! You'll be at WDW!! :woohoo:

Each country has a kiosk with a limited menu (usually 3 food items and several wine/beer selections). You pay per item -- they run $3-$7 and the cost can add up quickly!

Here's a link that will show you all the countries and their menu items (it doesn't list the prices):

http://allears.net/tp/ep/fw11/2011-epcot-food-and-wine-festival-international-marketplaces.htm

A warning though: weekends tend to be packed and Columbus weekend is always packed! You can still have a really great time and sample lots of new foods -- just be prepared for the crowds! :thumbsup2

Good Morning Jamborinis and Kidanites!:goodvibes

Good Afternoon everyone :wave2:

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Talked to my cousins again and nothing has changed. They told me that if you go and sit next to my uncle and talk to him his blood pressure goes up. I am not in the medical field and don't really understand what it means, but it is giving them hope. BUT then they tell me that the Dr. told them there was no hope. My Uncle did not have a living will so everything has come down to the two sons. So we are just waiting for news.

Thanks everyone for the prayers, they are greatly appreciated.

Congrats on getting another trip in before the APs run out!!!:thumbsup2

For the F&WF, yes you pay at each country for each item.

Each item will cost between, 4 and 9 dollars each and they are only a taste of the item, some will be wonderful and others you will shake your head at.

This will be our third time going to F&WF and we really have a great time.

We have never been to MNSSHP, but have been on the rail after one and it looked crazy!!!! So have a wonderful time.:cool1:

:lmao: Fenway Bark. At first I thought you typed wrong but that is too cute of a place.

And sending Pixie dust for you too that your trip goes off smoothly.:wizard:

Isn't it funny?:lmao: It's such an awesome place!
Thanks, we need lots of pixie dust:wizard:

Jen, we miss you around here too.

Fenway Bark -- how cute! :goodvibes

I'm happy to hear that Scott will be going too. I'll bet this trip is just what the 2 of you need! :thumbsup2 Make sure Scott's spirits stay high -- the long time out of work isn't because of him, it's because of this crazy economy which has been a mess since 2008. :sad2:

Happy planning and pixie dust that Scott gets the good news about a job real soon! pixiedust:

Thanks so much! He loves to hear all the pixie dust that you all send! Means so much:goodvibes
His spirits are high, he's naturally an optimistic person...By now, I'd have gone mad:rotfl:

You two will work it out. So sorry the economy has been so hard on you two, but this shall pass and it will be one of the things you'll remember that the two of you braved together and it will make your life together more meaningful and stronger.

Thank you:hug: If we can survive him being out of work this long, we can survive anything:lovestruc

That would be TyRy, maybe if everyone asks really nicely we could get the info...:worship:

Hmmmm let me think about it  Of course I can post.:goodvibes I'm excited to see the movie set-up since they did not have that last year.

Hi all:goodvibes

I miss you all so much!:grouphug:

My weekend is going well....Today Scott and I visited Fenway Bark...It's for boarding Beauty when we go away in Oct...And we are going, come hell or hi water, Scott it coming too!
Fenway Bark is pricey, but you cant beat the emenities for the dogs...She's a medium size dog, so she needs a ''luxury suite''...It comes w/cable tv and Skype:laughing: But we will use it, I can log into skype and talk to her and see her:goodvibes And they have play time allday...The PetSmart hotel is a tad bit cheaper, but they charge for play time:scared1: And the rooms are smaller.

No news from HD yet, but we don't expect any until next week....My boss just got back from a business trip today so we dont expect to hear from him until next week either.

Not to sound awful, I'm grateful for what we DO have, but there is no way Scott can't go on this trip...This was originally supposed to be our wedding and honeymoon, who knew he'd be out of work so long??? He's getting on that plane, some how no matter what!

Big hugs to you and yes, Scott must go on this trip. Hang in there - DH was out of work for a few years after 9/11 - and we were getting married during that time as well. I know it's stressful, but it will get better at some point.
