Nothing wrong with a Value resort! You'll be at WDW!!

Each country has a kiosk with a limited menu (usually 3 food items and several wine/beer selections). You pay per item -- they run $3-$7 and the cost can add up quickly!

A warning though: weekends tend to be packed and Columbus weekend is always packed! You can still have a really great time and sample lots of new foods -- just be prepared for the crowds!

For the F&WF, yes you pay at each country for each item.

Each item will cost between, 4 and 9 dollars each and they are only a taste of the item, so will be wonderful and others you will shake your head at.

This will be our third time going to F&WF and we really have a great time.

We have never been to MNSSHP, but have been on the rail after one and it looked crazy!!!! So have a wonderful time.

i'm just beginning to read through this thread, but in the meantime what are the absolute do not miss things about AKL??? I will be running the princess Half marathon for the second time in 2012 and have decided to book AKL for the trip. I'm going solo since the kids will still be in school. I've seen almost every resort except this one...crazy I know. AK is one of my favorite parks so I can't wait to see what the resort has to offer. Thanks in advance for all the suggestions.

Thanks Elin, all of the support here really helps. My DH just can't handle talking about it, so you guys are my only outlet.

He has opened his eyes, but the Dr.'s keep warning that it is only a reflex, but his immediate family is holding out hope, so no one is making any decisions, they are just waiting for more test results.

I just wish that these results were as fast as they make them out to be on T.V., you know the results come back within a commercial break, not days...

Big hugs to you and yes, Scott must go on this trip. Hang in there - DH was out of work for a few years after 9/11 - and we were getting married during that time as well. I know it's stressful, but it will get better at some point.

I know what you mean. Everything takes so long, to get results back, then answers. Sorry your DH can't talk about it. While its not a pleasant subject, it's important to talk about it and not keep things bottled up. Vent away, that's what we're here for!

She is sitting in the dorm room, unable to help with the move-in and hasn't had a chance to get to the doctor yet! She thinks a bone in her foot is broken and is all banged up to boot! Luckily I was the only casualty!!! Tori's all moved in and we're back home already! The move was so easy - they really didn't even need my help!

Last night my ankle gave out and I tumbled so fast I didn't even have time to react! I'm pretty sore today. Lots of scraps and light bruises. I broke my right foot about 20 years ago and I injured it in the same place. I can't put much weight on it so I'm hobbling along! Will see doc tomorrow.

Oh no! This is awful. I broke my foot moving once, it was a very simple misstep, but the fracture it caused was substantial. She needs to have it X-rayed and stay off it so that she doesn't do any more damage. Poor thing! coming her way!
