I'm sure this had been answered but will my MDE account get locked out or frozen if I use multiple devices to attempt to get boarding passes for RoR? I'd like feedback of people that have either had success or not either way.

Practiced from home this morning in preparation for our trip in 2 weeks. This is what displayed on the screen after I hit JOIN 3 times in a row really fast right at 7:00 am. I don’t remember if this means we would have gotten a BG or not. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Oh...I turned Location Services off before I did this and I used the time.gov website to check the time before going back into the MDE app.

Yeah, you would’ve gotten one.

Today’s our 2nd (out of 5) days at Hollywood Studios. We were on the lynx bus to the TTC and even though the wifi on the bus is fast, for some reason the app signed me out and wouldn’t let me sign back in. However, my sister didn’t get logged out and although data was a little ale, we got group 71. Not as good as group 3 yesterday, but I bet we’ll still be called.

read post 1. This is one of the most asked questions.
The answer is no, it won't get locked out. If you read back just a couple of pages you can see people using one MDE on several devices to book a bg and being successful

I re-read post #1 looking for this and just want to clarify - if I have two phones, should I log into MDE with my same login info so my daughter can be trying on my other phone at the same time? Or do I need to give her friends & family access to get into "our" account? I didn't know if two people could be trying while in the park in the same MDE account. (does that make sense?)

I think I know what I'm doing. I do have a question about using the clock with the seconds on it as a count down timer. My friend and I (only two going) both have iPhones. I'm not sure how to have the clock on my phone screen at the same time as my MDE app opened. Would it be best for her to have her phone open to the clock and only myself on MDE trying to quickly click and get a boarding group? Or is it better if we both are trying to join a group and don't worry about the clock? I'm not sure what the purpose of the clock is if I can't click on the "join" button until it is active on my screen anyway. I must be misunderstanding something.

Thanks!

You can both try with the same amount

Honestly i've never had a clock up or watch the seconds, I just wait for my phone to go to 7am (or 10am when it was get it at opening), then hit join.

I only look at the seconds to know when it's get thumb ready time. Like under :30

Other than what @osufeth24 said, you can minimize all apps so you're looking at all the icons. If you look on the clock app, you can see the seconds hand moving. I used to use that as an indicator and it works well, just open at 6:59:50 and countdown to 7, hitting join as soon as the time changes to 7. I've never had a problem when practicing this way with an iphone and was successful for real today.

We did everything as posted, practiced then Disney's site glitches and miss a pass. Disney even makes people go to these lengths for a ride. How about just make people line up instead of doing all this .

What was the glitch today? I had a small lag from the second join to the loading of names, but I still got BG 27 pretty easily.

That's frustrating. Just remember, you still have another shot at 1. They seem to be getting through a ton of groups every day. Good luck this afternoon!

Just a reminder that even the use of special characters to write a curse word is not allowed by DIS guidelines and will get you warning points.

I was practicing this morning and noticed that small lag too! After the third join I got a screen that said something about not having a park reservation (I don't. I'm still in MI). Does this mean I would have gotten a boarding group?

Yes, you would have gotten through

We have a large party of 14 people going. Does the reservation system limit the number of people? I as because I was limited to 12 when making park reservations.

everyone in your friends and family list that has a park reservation should be pre selected when you go to book a bg
