Good morning. Another sunny 80 degree day. One more tomorrow and then temps start climbing. I got used to being able to walk out side and actually breathe without it being so humid very quickly.
I bought the part Summer needed for her truck on Amazon. The garage wanted $200 for it, Advanced Auto had it for $110, and she found it on Amazon for $49. But she didn't have the money to buy it? How is she going to pay the $150-200 labor to have it put on? I told her I'd get the part, but she's on her own for the rest. She has to learn. She's been telling me all week that she's been out doing Walmart deliveries so she would have the money, yet she doesn't have it. I just shake my head wondering how they actually live like that.
I had my grocery shopping done by 10 yesterday morning, and got to Bath and Body just after they opened. I walked the shell of what's left of our mall. More and more stores closed, not opening until mid afternoon and closing early etc. 2 weeks ago in the heat wave the AC went out in the mall (Walmart is the anchor store and has their own system, so they were fine), and stores like TJ Maxx closed because of the heat. Books a Million closed their doors permanently and moved all of the inventory to another location. New owners bought the mall 2 years ago and haven't done anything since. Pretty soon there isn't going to be anything left but Walmart and the movie theater, which is sad. We don't have many places to shop here, have to drive 45 min to an hour in either direction to get to decent stores.
I'm going to wait until tomorrow to mow. I already dusted and vacuumed, so I'll do the bathrooms and wash the kitchen floor and call it a day.
Have a great day everyone
