I was recently on another thread about coffee makers and people who disliked keurigs. About a week ago. One thing is for sure that I probably won't use one in a hotel, just in case.
I used to have a bodum small sized french press that I packed when going to my DVC rooms. Was leaving the Bay Lake Towers one trip and hadn't packed it properly. Dropped it and shattered the glass while putting it in the car
.
I have several others but that one was just right and it was red which for some reason I enjoyed. Tried to find a glass carafe that fit the frame and was never successful. I might just shop for a new one.

It may also sound crazy but I love when my house is nice and clean and kept up well. (That is a work in progress these days as we got behind in some work and also have a lot of purging to do. We need to keep going. I am very happy out on my screened porch, though!) Doing nice things for people, even if small things. And of course, my family brings me joy.
) Have had it probably 11 years or so. It did well until a year or two ago when it started having problems starting and all that. DH gets it going but it bothers me when it’s not working right after paying all that money for it. Prior to that we had an old ride on mower that we bought from the people who we bought our house from. It was a no-name, but it ran forever, as it seemed old when we bought it. For a period in between, DH switched to a push mower for a while, but then went back to the ride-on. DS loved mowing on that thing (as a teen), which was helpful. (But I was always nervous w lawnmowers as I worked in an ER where once someone came in with a child’s foot in a container from a mowing accident. Always yelled at DH if kids or dogs were running around in yard while mower was going or rider not wearing closed toe shoes or boots, which almost never happened!)
