Hey, everyone! Woot for laptops and wireless Internet. Went to Universal yesterday and checked out that Mummy roller coaster. I'm terrified of roller coasters but that was AWESOME!

Went to Epcot for most of today. Big, big woot! For Soarin’! I'm a first-time Soarin' rider and it was spectacular. Skipped Mission: Space because I’m a huge chicken. Went to the Magic Kingdom for the last hour before the park closed so that I could get on the Haunted Mansion on its first day back open, but it was broke down again already. However, we were able to go on FOUR other rides within the last 40 minutes before closing to make up for it. All in all, a really fun day.

Tomorrow is Islands of Adventure in the morning and MNSSHP at night. I’m really excited about the Spiderman ride! Hope you're all having fun without me :wave2:

Woot! Glad to hear you have having a great time. Soarin is a lot of fun.

Glad you are having a great time!

I went on the sissy side of Mission Space last spring and I felt very claustrophobic in it. Not doing that again.

Hehe. Sissy side. I like that. :cutie: I'm surprised Mint didn't try that
non-spinning side. There's no reason to be "chicken" on it unless like you
said, you're claustrophobic.

And Mint, I loved the soft-opening previews of the Mummy when I went to
Universal last a few years ago. I thought it was very well done. And I think
you'll love Spiderman, as well....you big chicken. ;)

Thanks, everyone!

That Spiderman ride was as amazing as I expected it to be. I wanted to ride it a second time, but ran out of time. That has to be the most creative ride I've ever ridden. Poseidon's Fury was a big surprise, too. Those special effects were incredible (despite the extremely cheesy acting)!

MNSSHP was pretty good as well. Unfortunately, it poured for about two hours so we got pretty soaked (after having just dried off from riding the rapids at Islands of Adventure). When the rain stopped, we trick-or-treated a little, but didn't get too much candy. And we watched Hallowishes, but other than that, we didn't go much "exclusive" to MNSSHP. We basically took advantage of the short lines for the rides. We picked up this awesome Jack Sparrow Mickey stamped with the 2007 MNSSHP logo.

Today was the Magic Kingdom all day. We actually did everything we wanted to do. In all the times I've been to the Magic Kingdom, I have never done everything I wanted to do in one day, so that was crazy. (Well, I wanted to do Splash Mountain, but skipped it only because neither of us felt like getting wet. Honestly, I'm TERRIFIED of Splash Mountain, but in 2000 when I was last at WDW, I promised myself I wouldn't chicken out, so I'll get on it before I go home). The best part was we got some Dreams granted without meeting the Dreams squad. First, we saw a non-VMK Diser at the park and we stopped to talk to her and she gave us a voucher to go to the head of the line on any one ride we wanted. We chose Haunted Mansion. Then, a couple hours later, a woman stopped us next to the Winnie the Pooh ride and gave us Fastpasses for the ride that were good about ten minutes later, so we got to get on the ride real quick. It's been an awesome couple of days.

Oh, I forgot to mention I finally got to see VMK Central. It felt like I was going to my Mecca or something :rotfl: You think if I got the people who go to the VMK kiosks in there all day to sign a petition to keep VMK Central there, you think Disney would honor that petition? :rotfl:

Tomorrow is Animal Kingdom and Disney Quest! :)

Hey, everyone. I'm back :(

But still... best vacation ever! :teeth:

Welcome back!!! Hope you had fun, just saw your post. Yes, Spiderman & the Mummy are unique. I'm guessing that you didn't go on the Hulk or Dueling Dragons. You haven't lived until you've tried them! ;)

Thanks! And yes, I did avoid those two (but I did get on the Flying Unicorn :rotfl: ). I just finally worked up enough courage to get on Splash Mountain, and this is my third trip since it's been built, so I doubt I'll EVER get on those two coasters.

Mint dream moon has me @_@ I DIDNT SEE THIS POST UNTIL NOW!!! ROFL

Glad you had a great trip my friend! Look forward to hearing more about it!

Thanks! :) Still working hard on seeing the hosts, huh? Have you seen them any more over the past week?

By the way, I realized on our last day at WDW that we had MNSSHP tickets, so I wanted to try to use them to turn in some more quests, and guess who happened to be working there? Yep, Jacques :headache:

We went to the Magic Kingdom on three other different occassions while we were there and he was NEVER working there. When we finally tried to use the Halloween party tickets, he just had to be there... :sad2:

heh! did you ever get into the mansion?

Yeah, I did, actually, during the Halloween party. Despite how few people were there, there was still a 30 minute wait for the ride, but it was well worth it. Then, the next day, we met a fellow Diser at MK and she gave us a voucher to jump to the front of the line on any one ride in MK and we chose to get on Mansion again, since (for whatever stupid reason) it has no Fastpass. Unfortunately, that second time around, the hitchhiking ghosts weren't working. Oh well...

Sounds like you had a great trip! Yay! Haven't been in 10 years so insanely jealous. (And btw, there is NOTHING wrong with being chicken! :cool1: )

Glad you had fun! :yay: But really, was it worth missing out on searching vmk for hours on end for hosts? idk about that....:rolleyes1

Welcome home.
