Us to, flight lands at 5:30 on sat. Fingers crossed for a working fridge because I have a small order of cold stuff for DD coming from garden grocer.

How's the shampoo/conditioner and soap at POP?

Soap is fine. Shampoo/conditioner (2 in 1) is not bad but you have to use a lot to get a good lather. I have just past shoulder length hair and I used 3/4 of the bottle each time. Plus used my own dab of conditioner afterwards. Smells good :)

Are they good at keeping it supplied? There's 4 of us.....we'll need more than 1. My hair is past my shoulders and my daughters is just above her shoulders. My DH and DS are buzzed.....they can use soap lol

Excited for all of you leaving soon!!! :dance3:

Goodness, you packing-listers are impressive! I have a cardboard box that I kept some of our stuff in from last trip and that's about as far as I've gotten. Of course, if you stepped foot in my house, you wouldn't be surprised by the above statement. I LOVE Ikea and The Container Store catalogs when they come in and I love containers. I just can't seem to get organized. It's on my to-do list before we leave. I mean, I really want to get our house in tip-top shape. I think lots of my stress comes from the craziness that is this house (and there are just 3 humans and a dog living here!)

For those just getting back - how has the weather been? Accuweather is saying low 80s for next week, but nothing about humidity. Has it been super humid?

Today didn't feel too horrible with regard to the humidity. I don't have numbers but it's tolerable, IMO. There have been nice breezes too.

Weather has been hot and beautiful, not humid at all IMO. This was our first October trip and I absolutely love the weather. We are used to going in August. Now that is humid!!!! :scared1:

I had been thinking about mid August but got scared while reading about the weather. I was told to get to the parks early, take a break after lunch and then head back for the evenings.

Yes, but you'll have to ask for extra. Best bet is to call housekeeping and ask that they leave extra every day. They will probably bring you a bunch on the first day they service and then they will keep that supplied. Same thing with towels (you and your DD probably will use more towels than your DH and DS).

This. No matter which resort we stay, on the first day we ask for extra toiletries and towels and they usually leave more than we would need for our entire stay.

I've been watching each day because I really can't handle high humidity and our trip is in 2 days. The dew points have been in the 60's for the last week or so (which is somewhat humid) but down from the mid to upper 70's (tropical & very humid) from a few weeks ago. The lower the dew point the better, IMO!

What weather site is everyone using?

I will be there in 10 days! I would like to start stalking out the humidity levels now, lol

I have the Weather Channel app on my phone (love it) and have recently been viewing www.accuweather.com but I don't know how accurate it is because I don't use it at home. Right now accuweather says the "feels like" temp is 98 (actual temp of 89) at Disney...my weather channel app says it's 88 (with an actual temp of 86).

Ok thank you!! I will definitely do that. I don't want to pack shampoos and soaps if I don't have to. They take up valuable souvenir space lol
