I have another question, is every guest at POP being offered the FP+ trial, or only select guests? What about the magic bands? Certain guests or everyone?

I believe it's only certain guests, that's what all the posts and information have stated anyways.

Right now it appears to be just folks with an August check in date. We check in 8-31 and are participating. My magic bands arrived yesterday after I customized them on-line on Friday.

Going same time as you are. November 30th to December 7th. It's gonna be a blast.

Right now it appears to be just folks with an August check in date. We check in 8-31 and are participating. My magic bands arrived yesterday after I customized them on-line on Friday.

I asked to participate when we arrive in November but was told it was just in experemental stage and would not be offered to all guests and would not be offered as of yet during our time of stay.

Did you confirm your address? We got ours the same morning that we got the email saying they had shipped. Which just three days after we'd customized them.

Re: Packing...

I have been throwing things into the suitcases since we got back from San Diego in late June. The suitcases have been sitting in my living room for 2-3 weeks now. Finally got everything folded last night. I will pack "for good" tomorrow night - my younger son has decided to have a growth spurt at the end of the summer and I refuse to buy more shorts for just a few weeks of warmer weather - so I have to wait till tomorrow night and wash again, what he has worn the last 2 days. I don't know why kids grow so fast. He just turned 6 and he is outgrowing size 8/10

I did, they have been customized for a week.

My bands had the "shipping soon" status for 2 and a half weeks. Yesterday, I finally received notification that they had been shipped. I have a feeling that yours will be shipped to Pop. As far as I know, no Canadians have received the bands at their homes as of yet.

Thank you I am just so confused so I put my planning binder away since we arrive in 6 days. As I am always telling the kids "you get what you get and be happy about it!" lol

Thank you for that link. I've been reading through it as time allows this morning.

So, if I'm understanding correctly, if we are chosen (sept 21-28), we will get an email or a prompt to fill out a form to customize that bands. I DO NOT actively seek out the bands?

I'm also from Canada. We arrive on Aug 18th abduction I've not received an email yet about magic bands or fp+ testing, but I'm wondering if I'm included? The app will let next set fp+ times, but that wont do me any good if I don't have magic bands. Should I call and ask? What number would I call?

I did not know we were part of the test group until I set up My Disney Experience. After looking through everything, I saw the link for the Magic Bands and FP+. I was able to link annual passes to them and set up FP for each day. What I really like is that all of your reservations and FP's are all in your itinerary. Very easy to navigate once I got the hang of it. I have 11 days until we arrive. I am excited to see if everything works as intended.
