Just returned. We checked in on the 19th, and got in around noon. We were assigned to building 7, Room 7404. Couple things to note:
1) Systems were down when we checked in. They tried to code our Magic Bands for ticketing / dining plan / room charges - but could not print KTTW cards. However, they were pulling cards from a master binder for us to use for the day to get into our rooms. I'm not sure why a PP couldn't have access for ten hours - within minutes they were pulling these blank KTTW cards for us to use.
2) We found out a short time later, trying to check out at Wolfgang Puck Express, that our MBs weren't coded for squat

Luckily, the CM there was able to call someone at Pop and have them manually adjust our meal plan balance.
3) When we got back to Pop around 11 PM, all was better in "system" land. Our MBs were coded for our room - and, more importantly, worked - and our KTTW cards were printed.
4) No fridge - old or new, and no new bedding. I didn't ask for a fridge, nor did I ask for a credit.
5) After that first day, our MBs worked flawlessly. Meal plan, charging to the room, park admission, FastPass+ - everything.
6) The My Disney Experience app- also flawless for us. I made a number of changes to both FP+ choices and dining reservations - again, no problems whatsoever.
