That restaurant looks cool! Chris and I are going to a new place for lunch tomorrow--Moe's Southwestern Grill. They have a lot of vegetarian options, and funny names for dishes--one called The Other Lewinsky  so we're going to give it a try. :)

Luv, my favorite thing at Moe's is a Naked Lewinsky :rotfl2:

(It's the same thing as an Other Lewinsky, just made in a bowl without the tortilla).

simply put, no (I would have simply put "no", but the damn error message said the message was too short  )

That's when you wish you could say something like.. 'expletive' no!

I'm afraid to ask what the other Lewinsky is served with... :rotfl2:

Tormented souls? That can't be good.

I believe it's some sort of white sauce. :thumbsup2 But watch out--if it gets on your clothes, you'll have one heckuva time getting the stain out. ;)

I'm going to bed. Good night, behave. ( :rotfl2: I made a funny!)

You are so bad!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Actually, I looked at the menu and that restaurant is all over. Not real close to us, but in Cincinatti where we'll be soon. We'll have to give it a try. I can't believe that Zach, my travel planner, didn't know about it.

Zach and my DH are downstairs picking the players for my DH's fantasy football team. Jake is very put out that he got put to bed before the draft. Kept telling my DH that he shouldn't have a fantasy football team or choose the players because he knows nothing about the football players. :rotfl2: Jake does have a point, but the reality is that Zach wanted two teams to manage and instead of just having 2 teams himself, he got his dad to sign up for one. I can hardly wait.

Fantasy baseball, which only my DH was doing was bad enough.

We'll have to let Jake take part in a fantasy basketball team since he knows most of the pro players. Have I ever mentioned that he has the starting line-ups of most of the pro teams memorized? :rotfl:

Good morning, hope everyone has a lovely day. :wave2:

Morning, all! There is a slight breeze out there today, so there is hope that the brutal heat will be gone soon.

Good morning, Ladies! Nice to see you all today.

I'm gonna stay home ALL DAY LONG!! :thumbsup2

I'm jealous! I have to bring Ben to his internship. Then Zach has a dentist appt, but I think my DH is going to bring his so I don't have to rush off to that. I'm then going to do some packing and cleaning up. Then will need to drive back up to pick him up (the rush hour drive). Will skip the pool unless I go later when it's cooler.

I think the weather is supposed to break and not be as hot tomorrow.

Oh, and good morning!

I don't want to go anywhere when it is this hot. I know, I'm waiting for next week when it is supposed to be cooler. Then the girls and I will probably take a day to go into D.C.

Last night on the news they said that it's been empty in the DC mall area. If a person can get down there, park, and get into a museum (or walk from the metro), it would be a great time to go. It's just the walking to the museums that's a problem. I bet the zoo is deserted!

Morning, morning!

How's everyone doing? Did you all survive the heat? I hid inside and did nothing all day Tuesday (letdown day I guess) and yesterday I ran around on appointments. I hated having to get in and out of the car.

Today I start packing and loading for tomorrow. We can check in to the site at 2 so I'm going to be packed, loaded and hitched by 1. DH has to work but hopefully he'll sneak out early. Then all he has to do is get in the car and go!
The kids want to leave today. LOL Actually we all do! So looking forward to the downtime. :woohoo:

Never made it to look at cars :-(. I wanted to go yesterday when DH got home but a nasty storm moved in so that was the end of that.
Oh well.....

T&B - sorry to hear about (Zachs?) tailbone. That is one painful condition! I broke mine several years ago and it still gives me problems. When I broke it I think I would have rathered been pooping one kid out after another as the pain would probably have been less! Of course I wouldn't be doing that as I was walking through a "big box" store though! LOL
Now that would be a mess! :rolleyes1

Oh yeah....a short brag. My DS called me yesterday and told me he reenlisted for another 4 years! :woohoo:

I'm so proud of him! The army is a good place for him and I'm glad he decided to stay in. He says he's not doing the 20 but every so often he mentions that even if he does he'll still be prtty young when he gets out. So we'll see. We'll take it 4 years at a time I guess. LOL

Morning Everybody,

Ticking off the days to the Big Trip - 6 days left now. Yesterday I had a bit of a stress fit over all the stuff I have left to do, and just the trip itself (not really rational stress, just stress), but this morning I'm feeling a little more relaxed.

I went to the doctor yesterday, because I wanted her to check my ears. Didn't feel like I was sick or anything, but I had a couple of really bad infections a few months ago, and I have a lot of trouble with my ears when I fly, so I just went in to ask her to look at them as a precaution. Dang if I didn't have an ear infection! I had no idea. (Warning: TMI and grossness ahead)

Apparently I had a lot of wax buildup, and a clump of it had trapped fluid behind it and caused one of my ears to get infected. The doctor irrigated them (which hurt a lot in the infected one!), and put me on an antibiotic. I'm really glad I went in, even though I felt kind of silly doing it. Hopefully I'll have just enough time for the infection to clear up before we fly out next Wednesday.

4's, congratulations on your son re-upping. :thumbsup2 You sound like a proud mama.

Redshoes, if you read this, I never got a chance to answer you yesterday, but I'm hypothyroid (take Synthroid every day).

Lite Brite-glad you got the infection caught BEFORE the trip! That would have been horrible if you got on a plane with it.

Phors-congrats on your ds! Dh will probably be signing back on at the end of this Egypt tour. He will be in for 20 I am sure (my dh).

What is this Lewinsky dish? I will need an explanation. :confused3

Last night we did SCUBA in the pool. For 4 hours. Outside. It was freeeeezing! Seriously, the instructor kept making us get out of the pool to take apart/reassemble our gear and I was shivering so hard. My cold is killer right now.

I want to go back to bed. Ds has his last t-ball game today. Then I will leave them with my dad who just got in yesterday for the wedding and go get a pedi. I need one bad! Then it is dinner with that family and then it is going to several bars with that family.
