Priceline Express Deals

Maybe someone can poke around the hidden deals but here is the information provided on a regular listing for Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek.

In this case the parking fee is declared but the resort fee is identified but no dollar amount is given.PXL_20250402_200538734.jpgPXL_20250402_200612619.jpg

I include parking fees in my resort matcher tool, but try to make it clear you can't count on them at all - with Swan and Dolphin in particular they'll flip flop between $50, $47 or leave them off all together. Sometimes they even post a random number!

Plus they might do something like show the $50 on the hidden deal, but the non-hidden has the $47. Just a mess.
Looks like the Wyndham Grand Orlando is acting like the Wyndham BC with no resort fees listed. (I don't click on WGO much because no real reason to. :D )

What has been recent experiences with adding additional kids to express deals? I attempted last year but was unsuccessful. I was doing half day convention tickets, so it was no big deal when genie+ was around. Now with the advanced ride reservation and waterpark perk is a whole new game.

There was someone on the Touring Plans chat getting the runaround adding kids last year too, I think they got it sorted but that's the only thing other recent report I've heard with issues.

FWIW: If you see a hidden deal, you can specifically put your kids in the search and if the hidden deal accommodates the number of people it should still show up, but now list all of you. I'd screen shot every step of the booking in case something happens later - but here's a hidden deal from my test search just now that says 2 adults 2 children in it.

Funnily enough though - when you get to the last booking page it no longer states the 2 adult 2 child - but has a "kids stay free" box! :D

I know this is the PL thread but there is a source for PL prices that are refundable and you may not have heard about it.

If you are a Disney+ subscriber you can book A/S Sports std room anytime in July for $99 plus tax.

I just booked 7/26 to 8/1 for 674 all in. Using gift cards will yield more savings.

Hope this helps someone.

FWIW and Beware:
I just saw a Sports hidden deal on Priceline on 8/4 for $155 - BUT not a worthy listing.
Comes in less than the non-hidden Priceline deal and Disney regular pricing, but loses to the Disney Stay Longer and Save deal by $1 when booking a 1-night. If you book a 5-night, the Disney Stay Longer is $5/night less.

I also saw an AoA on 8/3 - but that appears to be a Little Mermaid Standard room and not a deal either.

So far did not see any other dates with deals, but didn't look too far yet - just wanted to make sure people don't jump on any crummy hidden deals - always do the math and compare to other current discounts, especially when those are refundable and hidden deals are not.!

Data Point

Today is June 7th

I did a search for 6/15-6/19 and a very sad E.D. showed up for AS Sports with a whopping 8 dollars off.

:(

Last year there were all kinds of deals in June 2024.

This year not so much.

Heads up - No new hidden deals, but the review count for Wyndham Bonnet Creek dropped by a few hundred and is now at 546 reviews. So, no more confusion in the listings with Coronado, which still has 744 reviews. :)

Any guesses what this one might be? Is it possible it’s CBR (or is it Wyndham)? I couldn’t get it to come up in the spreadsheet. Thanks!

CBR is showing 8.2 with reviews of 385 last updated on 6/28/25 so it is possible that it has had 15 more reviews since then.

I don't think Wyndham has free parking so it is a very good chance it is CBR

I suspect it is Wyndham Bonnet Creek, which is 8.9, 471 ratings on Priceline now and has free parking. Also, compare my two screenshots below and it looks like Wyndham Bonnet Creek is an Express deal for your dates. The price may be a little different for my website search ($222/day vs. $219/day), but I think it is the same deal.

I updated my Priceline resort matcher database this week when someone noticed several mismatches - they dropped a bunch of non-Disney resort review counts by a lot. WBC had recently dropped into the 500s as I posted above and this week down to the 400s.

I did not notice any Disney resort review counts dropping, CBR doesn't often show up even in non-hidden searches for me these days unless I look way out in the future, so didn't see that down at 375 reviews. I'll have to take another look.

Also, for people looking at amenities and trying to make guesses based on "Free Parking" etc - I would not bother, those are often wrong and you may even find that hidden deals for a given resort will have different amenities than non-hidden listings.

Location, Review and Guest count comparison plus Stars gets you there 98% of the time, looking for resort fees can help too, but don't count on those either since PL will randomly not list those fees on hidden deals.

I will say this am I did a search and a regular room at Coronado Springs or a standard Little Mermaid room at AOA in August are both coming up $20 cheaper on Priceline than on Disney’s website with their best promotion applied. Not that the savings are massive, and Priceline isn’t calling it an Express deal but I cannot get over that Disney is letting a 3rd party website quote lower prices at their hotels.

Update: I followed the deal through to the final screen. Priceline does add a booking fee so the savings aren’t exactly what they initially look like, but it’s still cheaper. Question if anyone knows - does Disney treat these reservations differently? Do they allow room requests? Do you get your room assigned last?

Disney has been allowing 3rd party bookings for several years. Not really any different than when they allowed certain travel agencies to offer special discounts. They’re just using major booking sites now instead of private TAs. I’ve used Priceline for WDW deluxe hotels twice when there were no discounts thru Disney directly. Absolutely no different than booking thru Disney, except you have to manually link the reservation to MDE. I had a beautiful view. Once you have a resort reservation with WDW, there are no 2nd class citizens. I don’t even think the front desk CMs know how you booked.

FYI…. If you book with Priceline, you can even use Rakuten. They have Priceline at 9% for hotels. I book room only, I don’t know if packages would be different.

Any chance this is SSR? I'm thrown by the 'kids stay free' tag but there is no resort fee so does that rule Renaissance Orlando out? I'm using the priceline tracker but the price is so low for SSR... confused haha
