Hi Stephanie! What's up?

My DH volunteered to bring Jake to the pool, so I can veg.

Good Evening Everybody!

I'm still dragging and I can't put my finger on what's wrong with me. It's like a cruel joke, if I'm going to feel like this I would like to have some real symptoms of sickness- not this I just feel crappy stuff- give me a sneeze or a upset belly.
Maybe my body is just preparing for the nuclear fallout.

I'm so jealous of everybody that has a vacation coming up- I've begged DH to come up with something fun to do. I'm a traveling fool and even just the planning of a trip is enough to hold me off for awhile, but alas no such luck. Everything I suggest he vetos and he won't give any suggestions. GRRR :furious: .

redshoes, sorry you're not feeling well, either. Maybe we have the same thing. I just feel yucky and worn out, but I can't put my finger on what my problem is. It's unlike me to be so tired, even when I don't get enough sleep. And last night I think I slept fine (maybe not long enough, but not bad, either).

Planning a trip would be more fun if I cared about where I was going. This budget crap is no fun. I'm really trying to be a good sport about it and know that if I complain my DH is just going to feel bad, but I really want to complain. :rotfl:

Good evening, People.

My electric was out for almost three hours. It just came back on a little while ago. It was very, very hot in my house. :sad2: That makes me very, very cranky.

I love planning trips. Almost as much as actually taking them.

Maybe this thread is containgous :rotfl: . I know that I didnt get good quality sleep last night, but that is nothing new. I havent slept good and sound in four years and 2 months. Do you ever lose those mom ears? The ones that allow to hear every little squeak from your kids when they're in their beds.

So are you hanging out in your undies in a vat of ice cubes?

From what she's told us about her DH, that would be exactly what he would like, which means she is not doing that! :rotfl2: But remember, teva is our commando gal...

Yes, YooHoo for Ohio! :cool1: :rotfl: My DH is happy as long as he has major league baseball. He's simple to please. :teeth:

I hear you red shoe!! I am planning on a Nov of 2007 trip! Crazy right? After many transitions with the money and all, DH gave me the go ahead tonight. I know to many thats nuts but I am tickled I get to straight to set this in stone! I get the chance to meet so many I have grown to love here and there and now tonight DH said, "I can't wait to meet your friends". I almost fell over!! I am just happy to know it will happen.

Angel,
When are you going. Have I mentioned that I will no longer be able to talk to you, the jealously thing makes me a little testy  .

edited because I have no idea what happened to the quotes.

Tig's right. Not with dh around. . Must not encourage any touchy feely activity. Too dangerous. :sad2:

Of course, as soon as he went out the door to work, those ice cubes were flying all over the place. :thumbsup2

It got so hot in here during those three hours that it's just getting really cooling down now.

I'm sorry. How hot has it been there? We've had a ton of huge rainstorms here so it's really cool here. I hate the winter season, can't stand snow and ice so I try to never complain about the heat that summer brings. I figure I should be grateful for some of the four seasons that we get here.

Good Morning everyone! :sunny:

First day back to school--a little happy, a little sad on my part. All I know is that when we met Chris's (brand new to the district) teacher at open house last night, I saw    in his eyes. She's young, blonde, thin and pretty. Come to think of it, Dave got pretty honked up over her, too. :scratchin

It's gonna be a long year...

Have a great day everybody! :wave2:

Good morning!

luv, why does your district start school on a Friday? Seems like an odd day to start--at the tail end of a week.

Yet again my DH's snoring woke me up long before the alarm clock. He doesn't care because he gets up and works, but at about 6:30AM (today it was 7 yoohoo!) he rolls onto his back and starts snoring and I'm awake. No wonder I've been so tired--I go to bed thinking about what time I need to wake up in the morning, not what time I actually get woken up (keep in mind, I am not a morning person). And when it's light out, it's hard to go back to sleep.

The good news is that the dogs have been outside already, the coffee is made, and the laundry is started.

Yes, luv, more puppy stories, Details! Remember, Magic is old. I don't want a moment of weakness after he's gone and for me to end up with a puppy.

:) :) :)

Boomer is doing better--no accidents in the last two days! He seems to understand what he needs to do when we let him out, he just doesn't go to the door and ask yet. He is sleeping through the night a little better--five hours straight last night until I had to let him out, and hardly whining when we crate him. I can't wait until this housebreaking is over and he can sleep with Chris. He did, however, in the time it took me to go to the mailbox and say a hello to a neighbor, chew through the electical cord on our torchiere lamp in the living room. T&B, I've fostered at least 30 animals since I've done rescue, and older dogs (for me) are so much easier and low maintenance. The only thing is that they may come with some emotional or behavioral issues that may not be at first apparent--puppies's personalities you can mold a little bit more. If we hadn't had gotten Boomer, we'd have gotten a retired racing Greyhound (I fostered them for years and loved every single one!), but poor Boomer and ten of his sibs needed homes and since I'm a sucker for sob stories, here he is. :p We did take him for a walk after taking Chris to the bus stop this morning, and it was fun--our Chihuahuas barely make it 50 feet down the road when they get tired and have to be carried for the rest of the way :rolleyes2 so making it around the block was a treat. People also tend to point and laugh when they see you carrying three Chihuahuas down the street. And no, we've never started school on a Friday before, and yes, it does seem to make very little sense!

Enjoy your Fridays, everyone! :sunny:

Sabba sibby sabba
Nooby abba nabba
Le le lo lo

Nooby abba naba
Early morning singing song
Good morning starshine

You twinkle above us
We twinkle below
Good morning starshine
You lead us along
My love and me as we sing
Our early morning singing song
Gliddy glub gloopy

Good morning starshine
The universe rings
With milky way music
Our blue planet sings
Good morning starshine
And someday so strong
Theyll hear the song we sang
Our early morning singing song
