Pickle part III

Christine, save yer pennies. You never know when things will work out. ;)

Oh Heather. I am so sorry about the stress you are having to deal with concerning Brian's job. I just pray you don't have to go through what we did last fall. Quite possibly the worst time of our lives. :sad2: I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. I so hope that the cuts don't involve him. When will you find out?
:grouphug:

Thanks. Answered in PM to my Pickles:grouphug:

I'm saving nickels and dimes too....when any of those come my way!! Don't think I'd recognize a quarter..but still have about $17 and change in Canuck money!!

:grouphug: Heather saw your pm......:grouphug: Positive thoughts and loads of ISPD!!! (industrial strength pixie dust :teeth: )

(why oh why won't the DIS let me use front color when I use advanced??? all I get is white!! :confused3 Been going on for 2 yrs now...so weird...quick reply is fine).

Hold onto that Canuck money. Never know when you'll head this way. HAHA. Yeah, no. I keep holding onto hope that my BFF will visit me, but that will never happen either. Boo.

So this is supper tonight:

• 6 pork chops
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
• 2 egg, beaten
• 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 cups Italian-style seasoned bread crumbs
• 4 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/3 cup white wine

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Rinse pork chops, pat dry, and season with garlic powder and seasoning salt to taste. Place the beaten eggs in a small bowl. Dredge the pork chops lightly in flour, dip in the egg, and coat liberally with bread crumbs.
3. Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the pork chops 10 minutes per side, or until the breading appears well browned. Transfer the chops to a 9x13 inch baking dish, and cover with foil.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. While baking, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk and white wine in a medium bowl. After the pork chops have baked for an hour, cover them with the soup mixture. Replace foil, and bake for another 30 minutes.

Anyone want to do dishes?? :confused3

Leave out the garlic powder and switch the soup to something other than mushroom and I will come for dinner AND do the dishes. Now is that a deal you can't resist????? :cool1:

Hey, anyone see the advertisement under us???? Just wonderin'....
Just sayin'....:rolleyes1

That's okay...the latest bedbug report has me not wanting to stay at any hotel anywhere or travel by plane, train or bus, until the U.S. gets a handle on the bedbug situation.
Nearly everyday local and national news have a new bedbug report. It is an epidemic found in all 50 states. Two worst places in the US: NYC and the state of Ohio...yep, Ohio - weird.
I'm telling ya though - Disney must be coming in pretty high on that list. There have been so many reports on the DIS and we are a but a teeny percentage of Disney guests.
I would not be able to handle it calmly - nope, would not be the laid back guests reporting bedbugs. :sad2:
Disney has such a serious problem they have their own bedbug dog! I'd bet they have more than one.
I worry about Michael bringing the things home - he goes on golf weekends with his buddies and do you think they would ever check for bedbugs???
of course, now the darn things are invading offices, stores, movie theatres...ugh...
Someone PLEASE find a new safe pesticide to kill these bugs!!
End of rant.:thumbsup2

Ack!!! Not.reading.that. It just gives me the heebiejeebies. Sadly, we can't live in bubbles. I checked our room at CBR before we set foot in it and never gave it a second thought afterwards. The snakes however.... OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's true, we can't live in a bubble ::yes::, but this issue has become an epidemic, which means more and more of us might bring the critters home...and then it takes thousands of dollars to rid the home of the creepy things. Yuck!! I'm sure I'll get over it, but it sure gave me the creeps just now!! not riding in any planes that connect in NY or Ohio. :rotfl2:

OMG, did you see snakes??? You know we did the first morning in FL right outside our door. EEK!!!!

Then the governments around the world better get their heads together and come up with a plan to kill them.

I was a nervous wreck in FL. Every noise or rustle in the brush, I flipped.right.out. We were on the ground floor, so that made it worse. On our first trip to the bus stop I was walking ahead (because I have long legs and walk really fast - I don't even know that I do it) and when I was almost to the bus sto[, Mark and Cassie told me that there was a small snake in the brush where I walked by. I almost had a heart attack right then and there. I don't think there is anythiing in this world that absolutely terrifies me more than snakes. I asked what colour it was, and Mark said it was a dark grey colour with a light stripe - a baby black racer. From then on, I walked down the middle of the parking lot to get to the bus. I basically ran down the walkway to our room. But jumped many times and gasped with terror whenever I heard a noise. Most times, I saw rabbits, but when I didn't ...OMG. I terrified poor Cassidie one night with my gasping. She stopped in her tracks and yelled "mommy!" and burst into tears. I had scared her half to death. I had to go back and grab her arm and run for our lives. I'll never forget it.
