Hey everyone, I haven't posted anything on here in a while (we made the big move down to Florida, very long story). In the midst of all the commotion I finally picked up my A6000 (and the fisheye I've been dying for!), haven't had much time for any post work so these are straight from camera. I don't think I'm ready for the jump to full frame just yet (financially/skillwise/needwise) but this little camera rocks and can't wait to get used to new menu system/options (I'm coming from my trusty old NEX-3N:
Yea, the 8mm 2.8. It's mark I though (lens hood not removable), I hear the IQ is better with the latest release but I just couldn't bring myself to pay $300 for it after buying the camera (I got the Mark I for $170 on Ebay, great condition). I tested out the Rokinon 85mm 1.4 also and the shots were amazing so I'm putting aside some scrilla for that one next (about $230 on Amazon).
My only concern now is having mainly prime lenses and not enough quality zooms. I have the kit 16-50 and the 55-210 and that's it for zooms. I just love the image quality of the primes but I have to force myself not to keep switching lenses throughout a park day and just come up with new angle to get the shots I want (so I guess this is actually a good thing )
I haven't posted much here lately because one...I haven't had too much of a chance to edit my pictures and two...I don't have a Disney trip planned this year. I did have a chance to go to CMA Music Fest again this year and I have picked out some of my pictures from the concerts:
