Patriots Fans~ It's time to...

I don't think they were at all. They were giving the Giants their props and never sounded too cocky to me. In fact, the only person on either team who sounded cocky was Burress.

I'll stand by the Pats on this. They get alot of unnecessary and unwarranted grief for being cocky. Not at all true. If someone can give me one example of a Patriot being as cocky as Smith from Pittsburg was or Burress from the Giants was, I'd appreciate it.

Hello Pittsburgh has an H!

Makes me laugh on how some of the biggest offenders of being cocky all season (Pats fans) , are now denying they ever did it.

Wow , that loss sure humbled alot of you.

Roliepolie, I don't think I was every cocky all season, so I hope you don't lump me in with the masses :confused3

Having said that, both Tom Brady & Randy Moss have been uninvited, or rather replaced for the Pro Bowl, so for those of you who hate them, you won't see them....

The Pats are the second team to go 18-1.

Actually they're the third. The 49er's did it in 1984.

Oh, and they won the Super Bowl as well. Some guy named Montana. ;)

An 18-1 season is a failure for the Pat's, no matter how much their fans wish it wasn't. Ask any member of the team and they'll tell you the same thing. The only thing that matters in the NFL is winning the Super Bowl. A 15-4 team wins the Super Bowl? Woo hoo! You had a successful year and can hold your head high. Lose the Super Bowl while going 18-1? And when you were expected to win? By EVERYONE?? Not good.

Now, where do I get me one of those Colts fans for the Giants banners, cause WOO HOO! The Manning Brothers are riding high tonight. How soon can we get Cooper ready for the NFL and make it a three-peat??!

Actually, I have it from an inside source that next year it will be the Giants vs. the Colts, so the First Family will continue and all will be good in the NFL :thumbsup2

Oh, that would hurt, wouldn't it? Imagine the stress in the Manning household over that!

Personally I'm hoping for Colts vs Packers, Manning vs. Favre. That way I can win on all fronts. :thumbsup2

I used to like the Patriots but after the way their coach didn't shake hands and now they that they are pulling out of the pro bowl I don't think any of them have class. You lost so suck it up and deal with it.

From today's Indianapolis Star (newspaper):

Mindy, do you even know anything about football? Each year plenty of players voted into the Pro Bowl back out, they just don't want to play in it.

Did you know that Brett Favre who was voted in as the starting QB for the NFC has backed out? I didn't think so.

Here's the link about Favre:

Since you enjoyed it so much (and so did I), here's a repeat! As soon as I saw that picture of Eli this morning on the Indianapolis newspaper's website, I remembered the one of Peyton from last year and the similarity! I put them both together and...

another awesome post! how cool is that?

Maybe if people actually read the article they'd find out that Brady opted out due to his ankle injury which commentators noted looked more severe up until the Wednesday prior to the SB, here's the quote for those lazy enough not to read it, and you'll note Brady & Moss aren't the only one's not going, and oh, by the way, did anyone think he wouldn't be hurt after landing on his back more than 20 times Sunday night? You want him to get on a plane, fly to Honolulu and play again... I'm not surprised he's not going....

" The Patriots said Brady and Moss each opted out because of ankle injuries.

San Diego tight end Antonio Gates and defensive tackle Jamal Williams also decided to skip the All-Star game on Feb. 10 in Honolulu."

People are just so lazy and willing to look for the worst, really just disgusting.

No crow eating, we still won 18 games this season and that is nothing to be ashamed at. Both teams played well and the Giants just played better tonight.

I agree ! My husband and son were pretty bummed ,I on the otherhand was happy that the $120 that I would have spent on tshirts and hats the day after can now go into my disney fund!

Me thinks that no matter what you tell some people, there are those who are going to think Brady and Moss backed out because they lost the SB...and you're not going to convince otherwise.

Chris, like someone told me yesterday, just bide your time. Let the haters have their fun now, our Pats are already declared the favorites to win it all next year according to the odds that came out yesterday.

Being that our Pats are so successful causes the hatred but don't be upset by it, embrace it. The Pats will make the moves necessary to improve this team in the off season.

I posted a link above showing Brett Favre has backed out of the Pro Bowl but noone cares because he hasn't won anything in years, but Brady's a ***** for not playing.

I can't wait to see what moves the Pats will make this year.

Now you know how we Yankees fans felt when we were the hated team for winning those years and you all were trashing us.
