Ha, I sent my husband a pic of this very towel when I was at Cracker Barrel a few months ago.

My DH waits until I leave the house or he leaves the house and then he calls me. He was just standing in front of me and didn't tell me what he wanted to say or ask me what he wanted to know.

31 years married.

Yes! We built a fairly big home not quite two years ago. I often "disappear" to fold laundry or some other chore and DH has no idea where I am up, same floor or down... Sometimes I can hear him talking like I am in the same room and yet he doesn't know I'm four rooms away ha, ha! I'll be there in "just a minute" (loudly) is a common reply. I wish I had it on a tape recorder so I could just hit a button as I am rolling my eyes. I thought it was just us LOL!

I’m deaf in one ear from a congenital issue and have age-related hearing loss in my other ear. Each day is as follows:

Him: Yells something very loudly at me
Me: “Don’t yell at me”
Him: “I’m yelling because you’re deaf”
Me: “Oh yeah.”

Rinse and repeat.

After 29 years communication apparently wasn't our thing. She left and never even mentioned that she might. Just a three word note. "I have gone". Took me totally by surprise, but if I were to be honest, the weight of a thousand elephants came off my shoulders that day. Wait, you don't suppose it was all those elephants that made her leave do you?

Technically still married...in the good days.... yes..many times of yelling what. My parents having being yelling what for 55 years...just louder with hard of hearing.
