Patriots Fans~ It's time to...

dodie - i meant to quote you. i LOVED your picture of the mannings! we're from tennessee originally and we've been huge manning fans ever since peyton played at UT. thanks for posting it!

Since you enjoyed it so much (and so did I), here's a repeat! As soon as I saw that picture of Eli this morning on the Indianapolis newspaper's website, I remembered the one of Peyton from last year and the similarity! I put them both together and...

I figured I'll correct you before the Gator fans descend. ;) Last year, OSU lost to Florida, not Florida St. :) I know we Ohioans get picky when folks start saying "Ohio" instead of "Ohio St.". :)

LOL! oopsie! It has bad memories for us!:rotfl: Thanks for reminding me...

Still don't get why you're quoting me so much. You seem to take issue with Bill being criticized for his actions last night; I'm just trying to point out that even the Boston media is attacking him. Not making this stuff up.

I think I'm done here. Too many hurt feelings and people are taking this way too seriously and getting very worked up and overly-defensive, IMO.

Congrats to the Patriots. They are a great team.
I'm extremely proud of my Giants, though. Yesterday, they were the better team and truly were the ones who deserved to win.I'll be back for baseball season when the Yankees start beating up on the Red Sox (hopefully)!

Play nice.:flower3:

They were clearly better yesterday, little question about that.

It also goes to show you how much Brady means to that team. He had several receivers open on various plays and he wasn't able to deliver the ball to them.

Between the Giants rush and Brady being off when he could get the pass away, it was a done deal.

Then, add in all of the tremendous plays that the Giants offense made on the last drive! They were clearly meant to win this game.

Will history remember the 18 or the choke in Super Bowl 42?

To make this statment, you do know you diminish the Giants win, right? You should show a little class and respect to your Giants team...

The Patriots didn't choke, they weren't the best team on the field yesterday.

I just heard and it may have already been mentioned here that Brady and moss pulled out fo the pro bowl. They are saying undisclosed injuries but brady seemed to be fine yesterday and I think Moss has a court date in florida on some sort of battery against a woman tiype charge.

Thanks - LOVE it!!!!!

As far as the whole Belicheck leaving with 1 second on the clock - he ran on to the field to congratulate the Giants AND if you were watching the game they actually backed the clock up to 1 second left on the clock. It is completely believable that he also thought the game was over not time left to be played. He wasn't the only one going onto the field, there were giants players too.

Technically, there were TWO SECONDS LEFT ON THE CLOCK. Before they started messing with it. It flip-flopped between 0 and 1 second for a bit before they settled on the 1 second.

After that, he left the field. And so, I believe, did a bunch of the team as well.

CONGRATS GIANTS!!! :cool1:

Although I'd have preferred either the Panthers or the Cowboys there instead.... :)

Congrats to the Giants and the fans it was a great hard fought game your team executed their plays better and deserved to win.

I am a long time Giants fan, so I was on the edge of my seat last night!!!

Congrats to The GIANTS!!!

DH was mad when they beat Green Bay...He said the Giants couldn't beat the Pats....

It was so sweeeeet that he was wrong....;)

The Giants offense and defense were relentless.....They just did what had to be done.

Well, they wouldn't be the first ones. I heard that Farve pulled out after their loss too. Honestly, why do they even do the pro bowl? What pro athlete would want to risk getting hurt after the season is over?
