Patriots Fans~ It's time to...

Mindy, do you even know anything about football? Each year plenty of players voted into the Pro Bowl back out, they just don't want to play in it.

Did you know that Brett Favre who was voted in as the starting QB for the NFC has backed out? I didn't think so.

Here's the link about Favre:

Yes Acutally I do know alot about football and I also know that alot of people back out of the pro bowl. But I am also convinced that the reason they backed out is because they LOST the superbowl. Had they won they both would have been there.

Most of know that, put the New England area think differently. :rolleyes1

Now you know how we Yankees fans felt when we were the hated team for winning those years and you all were trashing us.

That's exactly the conclusion some friends came to during a Pats game earlier this season!
Of course, these were friends who always thought the "Yankees suck" chant was stupid... Because they obviously don't. :lmao:

Mindy, why not rag on Favre? His team lost to the Giants too and he backed out. We know why you are only ragging on the Pats players, because you have an agenda.

Joanne, you hit the nail on the head. The Pats are now the Yankees of the NFL, but I take the hatred as a badge of honor. People don't hate on losing franchises.;)

I'm a Giants fan, so I don't really care which Pats play in the Pro Bowl but to say Brady and Moss backed out because they lost is crazy. Brady said he wasn't going to play after he hurt his ankle against the Chargers. As for Moss, he has personal issues to take care of so I don't think you can blame him for skipping the game either.

I think they would have backed out even if they won. And I don't like the Patriots either. I kinda like Brady, have never cared for Moss, but I totally understand why they backed out. Brady's had the injury for a while, it wasn't enough to keep him out of the Super Bowl, but why should he risk further injury for a nothing game? I think the majority of players that go there just go to be in Hawaii in Feb., not that I blame them.

LOL I have a agenda wow!!!

Once you figure out what it is let me know! The Patriots are my FAVORITE team other than the Steelers. I think that Bellacheck handled himself horribly they lost he should have stayed and shook everyones hand and not ran off the way he did and also shouldn't have been such a jerk in his interview after the game. I honestly think that if they would have won that Brady and Moss would have been at the Probowl but they don't want to answer all the questions with what happened. They had a fantastic season but I think that should have showed a little class.... and also I do have issues with the cheating allegations and think that they should have had to forfeit the game they got caught videotaping.

First off from a Pats fan congrats on the Giants SB victory.

Secondly you're absolutely right. These people are haters and only pick on the Pats and their players because they have an agenda. Like I posted above if someone like Mindy is so upset that players back out of the Pro Bowl, how come she says nothing about Favre backing out? Answer, because Favre's Packers haven't had the success the Pats have had over the last 7 years.

Everyone has their own opinion and mine is that especially with Moss if he would have won the superbowl he would have played the probowl but no one will ever know.

Mindy, then rag on Brett Favre and prove me wrong.

BTW the Steelers Polamalu also backed out of the Pro Bowl. What do you have to say about that?

Mindy, Moss has legal issues going on right now. I don't think for a second his mind is on the Pro Bowl.

What don't you get?:confused3

I think you are right. Most people I know during a game, if they don't have a specific connection to one of the teams, always say they are rooting for the underdog.

As for no one hating a losing franchise, well then people around the country must just love us Cincinnati fans, the Bengals haven't had a winning franchise in over a decade :rotfl: :rotfl:

Like I said I like the Patriots and have alot of respect for their team and have no agenda. Polamalu was hurt almost all year and I expected him to back out. Farve has backed out five times in a row so I was not shocked when he backed out again. I have my opinion and I will stick to it that I believe that if they had won that would have played especially Moss.

I agree ! My husband and son were pretty bummed ,I on the otherhand was happy that the $120 that I would have spent on tshirts and hats the day after can now go into my disney fund!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I'm laughing because I went to buy our Giants Superbowl hats and tees yesterday and spent $168.00! Good thing someone else hosted the SUperBowl party or we'd be broke!

What don't you get about Moss's legal issues? They would have been there whether they won or not.

And it's being reported here in New England that Brady's injury was worse then they let on.

So if I understand you correctly, it's ok that Favre backed out, because he has for 5 years, and it's ok for Polamalu, because he was hurt all year, but it's not ok for Moss, because he has legal issues, and it's not ok for Brady who has an ankle injury. I get it now.

Even though it's an honor to be chosen, I have no problem with players pulling out of the Pro Bowl. At this time of year a lot of players are banged up, having surgeries to get ready for next year, and/or are older guys who are just plain spent from playing 16 weeks of NFL football.

However I think the biggest reason for a player to skip it is that there's always the chance that someone is going to try and use it for a "proving ground", and then someone gets popped over a meaningless game. So as you can tell, not a big fan of the Pro Bowl over here.

But I am a HUGE Brett Farve and the Packers fan Disney Ron, so another example if you please.

Honestly this is pointless so I am done. We each have our own opinions and the whole pro bowl thing is a very small part of the issues that I have with the way the Patriots handled themselves it is more with the way Bellacheck acted and had the Patriots won and the Giants coach done the same thing I would have felt the same. He showed no class and thats my opinon if you have a different one thats great but I am entitled to mine.

I have no problem with Favre or any player pulling out of this meaningless game. I just used Favre because Brady and Favre were voted the starting QB's in the game and while Mindy has no problem with Favre backing out, it's not ok if Brady backs out.
