With park hopping costing more, will you purchase park hoppers or non park hoppers? Just checking to see if more people will be entering a park and staying or still hopping to others.

We will be park hopping on our trip next week. We are only there 5 day and only 4 nights, and I want the ability to visit 2 parks in one day. Since MK is our favorite, we will spend most of our time there.

tough decision but i think we will skip the hopping unless there is a promo like now on when we go...

last time we had aps and i don't think we hopped more than 2 times ( 9 days) so i can buy an extra day for cheaper and just go to each park 2 times. we go off season and hopped more when the parks were closed earlier( mgm and mk) as we'd go to epcot after they closed but now that they are open longer (especially is they continue pm emh) so the day is full without hopping

We will be park hopping. We usually go to a park in the morning - take a break and rest and hit a different park in the evening. Sometimes we go back to the same park but most of the time we don't.

We will be park hopping too.....did they raise the prices or something? I didn't think the $35/ticket was bad, especially since you don't know what kind of crowds you'll run into.

we will hop also-being that ak & mgm close early-we can return to mk or epcot-so we like to hop. :bounce: :Pinkbounc  :cool1:

We park hopped on our last trip in May, and we're park hopping again in December. I found it to be worth the money for our family. We park hopped several times, especially when one park got particularly crowded for unknown reasons...we just "hopped" off to another. But, it's really a personal decision, I think...what works for some doesn't work for others, so you'll probably get varying opinions.

I went in Oct., we park hopped 2 days, so was it worth it?? Not sure, as my parents gave us the PHP last Christmas when they were still hoppers before the myway tickets..

I'm thinking of surprising DH with an annivesary trip in April, we would only be there 4 nights/5 days, so I think I'm correct in assuming, it would be cheaper to by 5 day non hopping pass rather than 4 days hopper option..I'll have to double check all that If I decide to do this trip.

:Pinkbounc Hopping for us!!!

I don't even consider not hopping and I always factor in the hopping price into my budget. I don't even think about how I 'could' buy a cheaper ticket without that option, it's too valuable to me; too convenient. I act like Disney never changed the tickets with the options all separate!! ;)

Last trip we hopped. This time we'll be staying longer and going to only one park per day... plus one day just in case... bought a 5 day pass. We are hoping that it will be more of a relaxed time 'cause we don't usually visit EVERYTHING in each park. :wizard: I want to spend a little more time relaxing!!! :goodvibes

Absolutely, we are park-hopping. Even though we have a basic plan for each day, I find that park hopping A) gives us flexibility and B) it's a bargaining tool with the kids when we want to rest mid-day.

on our lengthy trips we do not park hop. Our next one should be another 9 dayer.

We will be hopping. :Pinkbounc We like to go to one park in the morning, go back to the resort for a swim and then go to a different park in the evening.

We usually spend the mornings at Magic Kingdom and then, evenings at Epcot or MGM. Or we'll go to AK all day then, go to Epcot for dinner. But mainly we park hop over to Epcot. And, sometimes we spend the entire day at Magic Kingdom. We own DVC and our home resort is Beach Club Villas.

Undecided! :confused3

We had the old style PHP 4-day things in January, never hopped. Thought maybe on a longer trip we woudl hop. Just back from 8 days. Hopped once. And once we got to Epcot that evening we didn't do much and didn't stay long.

My fear is if we get plain passes we will get into a packed park and want to hop but won't have the feature already in place. Grrr. DH says we might as well get hopper since it isn't THAT much more expensive. We'll have to wait and see. I am also thinking I should have gotten 10 days no-expire passes for October. We used 8 days, so would have had 2 left. Next year we'll be there for 7 or 8 days. If we would have gotten 10 day passes for both trips we would have 4-5 days left over for a thrid trip. But I wasn't thinking about it like that. Oh, well!

Just call me hopper! I like the option of be able to switch 2 a different park if the one we just got into is full.

Park hopping has always cost more hasn't it? Nevertheless, it's hopping for me every time. $3.50 per day on a 10-day tick....no brainer! :bounce:

I don't think alot of folks knew that there was a discount on the hoppers during the Fall promotion. I booked my package with no hoppers but then after doing some calculations on line, it appeared that the hopper part of the package was also discounted. I called CRO and asked how much it would be to add it to my package with the code and they said $35/person plus tax. I said, try it with the code and when they did, my package only went up $100 for 4 ($25/person).

So, anyway, this is a long winded answer but orignaly we were going to go with non hoppers but since it was discounted, we decided to add them.
