Lightning Lane - trying to modify times

Hello -

I have our LL booked next Tuesday for MK. I am trying to adjust the times so that they're all a bit closer together/overlapping which I have been able to do other trips no issue. However, every time I click on the time to adjust the LL, I am told that time is no longer available. The weird thing is, I have closed out the app, updated it, gone back to adjust, and it keeps showing me a time that I cannot select. For reference (don't judge my LL's I have a 4 year who had been fortunate enough to go to DW many times and she has her very specific rides that she likes to do. These obviously are not my picks, lol):

Barnstormer (her fave): 9:50-10:50
Dumbo: 10:30 - 11:30
Speedway (why my child, why): 11:15-12:15

Now, when I go to adjust Dumbo, it tells me a 9:40 is available. But when I click to select, It only shows me a time for 12:15. It has been doing this for about 24 hours now, and I return to check at various points throughout the day. It is a similar issue for the Speedway.

I have been able to stack before, but I'm not sure what the holdup is here. Is it because they plans will initially be too close together? A bug in Disney's system?

Thanks in advance!

I've been having this same issue today, but for each day of our trip next week. Any time I try to modify times, I can't choose anything with an overlap of more than like, 15 minutes, it seems. I can see the earlier available times, but when I click into it, it always auto-adjusts it to a time beginning after all of my current selections.

The app is showing you the first available return time but due to you existing LLMP return times it will not allow you to make the modification due what would be a major overlap with Barnstormer. It will not allow you to over lap (2) return times by 55 minutes.

You still can have some overlap but not your massive overlap in the example above of 55 minutes overlap. Yes even though the (2) attractions are physically so close to each other.

The most flexibility for overlaps is at your initial purchase time, and then on the day of your visit starting at 7 AM. What you might consider a bug in MDE is actually be design. Stacking is a term the was born in the days of Genie when you could add (Stack) additional ride times after 2 hours even if you did not actually use one of your 3 Genie selections.

Since you only can hold (3) LLMP selections at any time. The MDE app defaults to replacement or modification at the end of your existing return times.

Ah, got it. Thanks for that. I'm going to bank on seeing what we can get through during early entry hours and adjust based off of that!

Yeah, I have absolutely been able to book them closer in the past, so I'm still a little confused. And some of these are like a 5 or 10 min overlap, which shouldn't qualify as being too close in time and I have certainly been able to do as recently as October.

I managed to book 2 LL in 2 different parks with the exact same return window, HOWEVER, I was already in the park and had tapped into my first LL of the day. Maybe overlapping is highly restricted when pre-booking LLs, but not restricted once you're tapped in to your first LL of the day? Just a thought.

Yes, prebooking has very limited overlapping ability. Day of, you will be able to try to adjust your other rides to more overlapping. It’s been this way since prebooking LL started, with many threads & reports posted.
