Hi
I am at WDW (dvc member, blue card) and I have bought many things lol… this weekend I will fly over to another city to visit a friend and then return on Sunday for the anniversary week..

I need a solution to leave these things here (avoid baggage fees only for the weekend)… do you know if the lockers are still a possibility? If yes..how do I get one?

or can I leave a bag at the hotel for 3 days?

Any other ideas pls?

thanks!

I think you can contact Owners Locker directly and they can get you signed up immediately.

I have no idea if he’ll services wlll hold things that long.

What if you boxed it up and mailed it to yourself at the resort? I think they accept packages up to a week ahead of your arrival......there is a $6 fee I think for accepting the package but the postage and that fee have to be cheaper than buying an owner's locker!

I live overseas … so mailing it could be very expensive.. I shouldn't have bought all of this lol

And you can always ask bell services...are you returning to the same resort? They may let you keep things there for a few days for a fee. Never hurts to ask, or they may have another suggestion for you. I kind of recall doing something similar...but it was a long time ago. Was leaving but then coming back in a few days. Things have changed.

Owners locker would be an elegant solution, assuming you needed one anyway. I was going to get a second one and they said they could get it to me the next morning.

What are owner lockers and how much are they?

Owners Locker is a company which stores things in the Orlando area. You pay for one (or more) of their storage bins. They deliver the bin(s), empty, to your hotel. You fill up the bin. At the end of your trip, you have Bell Services come to your room while you are there, and take the bin down to the Bell Services storage area. Owners Locker will come by and pick it up, and take it to their warehouse. Next time you are going to the Orlando area, you let Owners Locker know and they will bring the bin, now full of your stuff, to your hotel. They go to the Disney hotels. They also go to hotels off Disney property (but last I heard they were not allowed to go to Universal Orlando hotels). The hotel list is on their website.

There are different plans depending on how often you expect to be in the Orlando area each year.

I don't know if this would be a useful solution for OP. It depends on how much stuff they need to store.

I ended up sending a box to a relative in Texas that will travel later on the year to my place ..

Couldn’t ship it to myself because currently Disney only offers a 8 business day delivery (!), and at the hotel I was being told that I couldn't leave things for more than a day ..

I could have gone to a normal UPS or so but it was so much trouble hahaha… the good news is that I can still buy more and send it to Texas LOL

thanks all for the replies, happy Friday!
