Love the update. Glad you liked the Hulk. When we were there I was too chicken to try but I think I'll have to give it a shot next time we go there since I rode the Kraken at Sea World (I think it's pretty similar to the Hulk...).

Hulk was definitely cool. I've never ridden Kraken so I can't tell you for sure if they're similar but I've seen pictures of it and it looks pretty intense. I think you can handle Hulk!

Thank goodness I could bypass the bats. We would have had to skip the trail altogether if I couldn't because they're just not my cup of tea. LOL

Hey Kristen! I just got all caught up and there's so much to get caught up on. I always stand ON line too, I think it's a NY thing Standing "in" line just sounds weird to me, too funny! I also had to laugh at your deer comments. I went upstate to my cousin's house yesterday and there was the cutest deer on their lawn and I was amazed! I was taking pictures and laughing and telling everyone to watch it, and my cousins were like... I'd only ever seen deer at the Bronx Zoo before so I was fascinated that these things just show up on people's laws. I'm used to squirrels

I love all your pictures! I know how you feel about your camera. My old one had a really slow flash-recharging time, so after taking a picture with the flash th scren just went blank for like 10-seconds until it recharged. It drove me CRAZY! Ahhhhh crappy cameras suck You still got som good pictures in though! I can't wait to read all about IOA; I LOVE it there! I think th theming there is better than at any other park, it's amazing! Kep up the great updates, I'm loving it! :

Funny about the deer at your cousins. Its really not typical to find them on your front lawn where we are on LI but theres a wildlife refuge a couple of blocks from my house so the surrounding blocks get deer in the winter! its freaky because i hate them!!

Glad you like the pictures! My camera just isn't doin it for me anymore. I'm hoping that I will get a new one for my birthday. There's one that I really want but its like close to $300. It will be worth it though when I can actually get decent pictures, even in the dark/at night! As I was typing this I was thinking of you actually becasue I know you and your family love Universal and IoA. I dont wanna give away anything really yet but I'm going to say I personally like Universal better but my BF definitely loves IoA way more.

how annoying about the fridge! inconsiderate behavior is one thing i hate with a passion, second only to animal cruelty. even little things are so annoying when someone just doesn't care to be a considerate person and let you know what's going on! so annoying.

i want to go to IOA one day. i've been to universal and it was okay but mostly not something i'd do again. but i've never done IOA. and i LOVE rollercoasters! we live about an hour from six flags over georgia and there's some awesome roller coasters there but it's always so CROWDED and HOT and dirty and the customer service there is horrible - everyone has an attitude! so we don't go too often. we'll definitely have to go see the harry potter stuff when it opens - ray's nephew LOVES harry potter and he's already said something about it.

Excellent update! I love IOA. It's been a couple of years since we went over there. That blows about the fridge. THAT is why I bring my own. I'd be wanting to kick someone's butt after all that. And how dare you say that about yourself!? A heffer!?

First of all, good luck w/ the working out and weight loss thing. My hubby & I have been trying very hard to lose weight since February, and we both have lost over 20 pounds. My biggest tips to you are to try to be consistent on most days, and then don't beat yourself up on the days when things don't work out. If I schedule in 1 "cheat" day a week, it helps me be good the rest of the week.

Now...IoA is so much fun, right? We have only been there once, right when it opened. We went on the Hulk & Dueling Dragons multiple times and I love them! We have talked about going back on our next trip, but I'm not sure yet. Great pictures!

Personally I like Universal better but Chris lovesss IoA. I would definitely say to try it one day! We live about 2-2.5 hrs from Six Flags in NJ and its the same way! You get there and get on no rides because its PACKED and everyone there is completely rude. The HP stuff at IoA sounds really cool too!

Congrats on losing 20 lbs!! Thats great! Its so hard. My problem is I have no portion control and no full button. I'm never full! I'll certainly take your advice about giving ourselves a "cheating" day. Its obviously been successful for you!

Yes, I'm the one who doesn't get the whole ON line thing. LOL! I'm sure it's just from where you are at in the country. LOL!

I so want to go to Universal and IOA. Last time I was at Universal IOA was just being built, so it's been a long time. If we go next year, I think I am going to make a day for at least Universal (which I liked much better than Hollywood Stuidos at the time) and maybe try IOA too for something different.

First, on your photobucket issues I HATE PHOTOBUCKET!! Uggghhhh! So stupid!

I use webshots now and its MUCH easier, it doesn't rearrange your pictures and uploading them is easier!

I'm so sorry about all the trouble with the fridge! UGH! How terrible! It's so nice that that lady screwed up the whole swap for everyone else cause she was lazy!!!!


IOA looks neat!! I'm not big on rollercoasters so I'll skip the Hulk if we every make it to IOA. Plus when I was a kids I was petrified of the Hulk!!! Literally petrified! I used to have a reoccuring nightmare that he came crashing through my bedroom wall Weird, I know!

Can't wait to read more!!
