Online Reservation Trouble! 9/12-9/16

to make matters even better I can't log in on the passholder page...it says I am enetering wrong info, and I'm typing it straight from the pass:confused3

Good luck to everyone!

I have been having non-stop issues with the system since before it opened and well after. I cleared my cookies, I restarted, I shut down and restarted, I logged into WDW, I went through "Discover"----I did it all. Still, 30 minutes after the booking window opened, I was unable to log on.

FINALLY---I was able to hop on and make my ADRs and got all 12 that I had been hoping for, within 15 minutes of my desired times. I had no plan to eat at Le Cellier, but for the heck of it I booked it just because it was available. If I end up cancelling on December 17, I will definitely post so someone else can snatch it up!

Goodnight all! Only 90 more days!!!! :santa:

Don't go to the MY VACATION part. Instead, go directly to the red part below (it's not red on Disney's site) on the dining reservation page of the restaurant that you want & put your info in there: (From the Disney website)
To make your reservation, please enter the requested information:
Update Your Profile
Are you an Annual Passholder and/or Florida Resident? If so, please add this information to your account profile so we can tailor your dining search.
Retrieve Your Resort Reservation
Do you have a Resort reservation for the same days for which you're making dining reservations?
If so, please retrieve your reservation.

This is EXACTLY what I did to get it to work. It let me make the first reservation for 12/12, but that was it and I almost passed out. :faint: Then I saw the bit about "retrieving your resort reservation" and did that......Once I did, the calendar opened up all 10 days. Whew!

BTW, the only way I got the 404 error message to go away was to log off and get back on. That worked for me.

But here's my horror story. Once I got my 10 day window, I was cruising along and thought I had "booked" all 10 spots, since it let me select them. Then I confirmed and even gave my CC#. At that point, I got a message saying that some of my ressies couldn't be confirmed after all. ACK! :headache: It only gave me 5 out of 10. So I thanked my lucky stars for those and started over for the others. I tried to book the next 3 that I wanted most and only got 2 of them, even though the screen initially indicated I could have all three. And so on and so on. At the end, I just kept plugging in Flying Fish for 7:00 over and over and over. Every time, it would say the time was available, but the very last screen would say the equivalent of "too bad, so sad." Finally, after about 7 tries, I got it.

I made certain to get all my confirmation numbers and that's when things got really weird. I had TWO Bomas and TWO Biergartens, each on the same night. :confused3 Apparently, one of those times when it gave me the "you're out of luck and you need to try again" message, the ressie had gone through anyway. So when I tried again and got it, (for what I thought was the first time) I was actually double booking.

But I'll wait until tomorrow and phone dining reservations to make double dog certain I have one in hand before I cancel the other. Too bizarre. Long story short, it took me from 2:00 Central to 3:30 Central. All because I had to put them in my cart 1-2 at a time, check out and start over. But I can't complain too much since I got what I wanted and was able to start earlier than expected!

Ahhhh! I'm getting that 404 message too!
:headache:

And to add to it, I have my reservations booked under 2 rates, so theres 2 confirmation numbers, and of course I cant enter them both in. Looks like I will have to wait until the phone lines open.

Ive never had a problem with the online system until today, of course!!!

Just a heads up that you shouldn't need both confirmation numbers, just the first as long as your trip isn't longer than 10 days. I just booked my ADRs an hour ago and I have two confirmations---one for a cash night at the BWV and one for our stay on DVC points.

Good luck!

Having battled against glitches for 3 hours to do the ADRs, I tried to check the reservations: entered the reservation and phone number and on the second attempt it let me in. Found that it had double booked one ADR, but when I cancelled one it logged me out.

Now I can't get back in to check the reservations. Unfortunately I didn't print off the confirmation numbers since it let me check with the reservation number before.

Have I completely stuffed it up, or is this another computer error?

I hope you're right!!!!!! I "practiced" logging in with my res # earlier tonight and it showed my dates as 12/12 - 12/13 so I was thinking it wouldn't give me the plus ten, even though I'm really there until 12/18!!!!!!

But I'm still getting 404. I am so worried!:guilty:

I got all excited - I stopped getting the 404 message but now when I try to pull up my reservation it gives me some weird error message....so the only day I can book right is 12/12!

I'm having trouble getting Disney online to retrieve my reservation! I have practiced and had it pulled up before no problem but now when I really need to open my 10 booking window I can't get it to work! UGH Have to try calling at 7 am I guess. I was going to book a couple of these myself and let my DU TA. do the rest. Hope she fares better than I!

I had the same problem (404 error) this morning when I went on with my home computer (which has Vista). But, then I went on my laptop (with NT) and I got right on. I got everything I wanted...including a dinner ressie at Le Cellier!

From about 7:00 - 7:12am I was, after HOURS of trying to make it work, able to make some ADRs. Got to SOME of what I wanted... still frustrating, but atleast I am SLOWLY accumulating what I am looking for... :)

Hi, having trouble making ADRS when my booking window opened online this morning between 5:30-6:00 am. System would ask for a phone number (without a box to input this info) with my reservation number and would not give me the option of selecting a date. I had "practiced" before and never had to input my phone number at all and it pulled my reservation up easily. So frustrating! Had to wait until 7:00 am to call and the reservation agent said Disney reservation system was down and to call back in 2 hours, and that the online system was down too! Ugh! She couldn't even pull up my reservation at all! Anybody on Disboards having this same issue?

Then I went on line and got the 404 error.

So frustrated right now.

I really hope I still get what I want!!

Same here. Just called and was told to call back in a couple of hours.

I just got off the phone with them and was told the system was down and they have no ETA as to when it will be back up. I was on hold for 30 minutes just to be told this. How frustrating!

Just got off with CM, made fantasmic package no problem. She booked 3:50, then said it wouldn't go through a few times, then got it to go through with 3:45 only showing. I had trouble earlier this morning with it all going through. I got on hold at 6:01, answering system said 30 min wait time, CM answered at 6:24. Good luck. I'd call back again.

I made all of my reservations on-line w/ 1 exception - Fantasmic. I called & was told that the system was being upgraded (or something) & to call back..which I'm going to do right now.
