The we loooooove Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek Part 4

Yes, you can definitely use the pool and amenities while you wait for your room to be ready. You will check in at the desk when you arrive and they will give you wrist bands that you can use right away. They will text you when your room is ready. There are also showers in the restrooms and changing areas if you need them. Have fun!
That’s great to hear ! Thank you

Call or email extraholidays.com, explain your situation and dates needed, and maybe they can do something for you.
Unlikely they can. Extraholidays inventory is generated from owners booking and then renting through extraholidays. It is literally impossible for an owner to book a single night. There is no legitimate way to get a one night stay other than by booking a two night stay and leaving early.

We arrive on Saturday around noon. I know check in time isn’t until 4pm, but was wondering if they would check us in earlier so that we could use the pool area while we waited for our room to be ready? Has anyone done this before?
If not I won’t bother putting our swim stuff in our carryons and we will just go to Disney Springs.
At non-peak times, if you’re in a regular 2 bedroom unit, chances are your room will be ready before 4 if you don’t care about view, etc. If not, yes, you will get wristbands and can use the amenities while you wait.

This is true, but EH can rent partial stays out of a stay that the owner books. So if I book five nights and give them to EH, they can rent (and pay me my share of) only three of them, but that consumes my entire booking.

I don't know whether or not EH will allow someone to book a single night. They might.

Further to post yesterday (haven’t rang them yet, will later), looks like you can book single nights through EH Insiderextras section. Unfortunately, doesn’t look like they have a two bedroom for 30th to 31st Oct (only one bedroom) but they do for 21st to 22nd Nov, I assume this website is legit:

Thanks for this update. Will keep it in on file. Earlier in the year, we rented through Vacation Strategy (all went well) but we could have used an extra night.

Just booked the one bedroom for 30th Oct via Insiders (with free cancellation upto 25th Oct, expensive compared to what i pay usually but expect that as its one night), instant confirmation, after speaking to EH via telephone who said they could not book less than two nights minimum on phone and to book on website if it allows it. Spoke via telephone with a very helpful associate at front desk of Bonnet Creek Resort. Explained my situation, she said as I am staying for a number of weeks can put a note on system to manager a request for me to be upgraded to a two bedroom so I can stay in same unit throughout my stay, no guarantees, but as long as there is availability, there is a chance. Now closer to the time (hopefully price comes down to what I paid for first night) will book my final night of vacation.

Did you find vacation strategy reasonable, the quotes they gave me on this trip as well as my previous trip were quite high and very few dates of availability compared to vacation upgrades (second cheapest but forced to stop renting), skyauction (including magicalholidays on Ebay, third cheapest) and a private owner (cheapest but no longer renting) I’ve used in past.

We have used Vacation Strategy quite a few times and never had any issues. Also rented from the other sites. VS was a bit higher but within reason and they have been reliable. I’m glad things worked out and know you will enjoy your trip!

Does anyone know if I can get an extra fold up bed in my suite? I currently have a one bedroom booked for 4 adults, but may need an extra bed for the 4th person. I only book under extra holidays, and they did not have any 2 bedroom availability.
Update - I kept checking extra holidays everyday, and finally a two bedroom popped up. It was $650 more for the week, but worth it for the extra bedroom and bathroom. Keep checking if you can't find what you want.

Can someone confirm the type of coffee filter the Deluxe 3-Bedroom units currently have? We recently stayed in a Presidential unit, and it had the cone filters. However, I can’t recall if the Deluxe units have those as well or the standard basket filters. Thanks!

Update: We're here now. It's cone filters.

Tower 6 is Wicked. It has been this theme since before Thanksgiving. Complete with cardboard cut-outs of the two main characters. The only difference is that I think the flying monkeys are now gone from the ceiling. The background behind the characters is also gone. The tree looks nice.

Can anyone tell me what specific model of Sobel pillow BC uses? I wanted to buy some but they have different ones and Sobel told me they can’t tell me 🙄

The tag on the inside says the name but I was dumb and didn’t screenshot. TIA for any help!

We’ll be coming on an inbound RCI exchange in February and won’t arrive until 6 PM or later, with perishable groceries in the car. Are we likely to be delayed getting into our room by the folks who will want us to sign up for an “owner update” and won’t take No for an answer? Have they been very aggressive lately?

I have never spent more than a minute or two talking to them. Is this the first time you have stayed at a timeshare resort and been asked? It is pretty much standard at all of them. Just nicely say "no thanks" a few times and that is the end of it.

Literally: “No thanks and i have perishable groceries in the car, please give me the wristband now, thanks, bye” will work.
