OMG- Zhu Zhu Pets are they the new Cabbage Patch Kids????

I think as I get older I dont really care as much for the most haves.. My kids have alot and do not need everything they see on the TV IMO.. Now if I do find one between now and my son's bday or christmas will I get him a fake hamster? if its on his list most likely but ifs not found- thats they way it is. Im not going to every store in the county and spend more money then they are worth..

Whew! I found two pipsqueaks this morning (yellow hamsters). I went to two Walmarts every day last week, and this morning. They must have gotten a shipment over the weekend (figures). They were the last two at my store.

For you Chicagolanders - I found them at the Walmart on North Avenue in Northlake. At the Elmhurst Walmart on 83, they still have nothing - but a manager at the store said she ordered some, and should have them in 2-3 weeks. She told me to check back in two weeks.

There were signs ALL OVER at the Northlake Walmart that said, "Only two items per customer, no dealers please". Very interesting! I don't know how they'll enforce that, but I think it is nice that they are trying!

DH gets major brownie points today! Instead of going out for lunch, he used his lunch break to search 2 different Walmarts for the pets! Now all we need is the spiral slide and the hamsters themselves! What a good Daddy!

Indiana mommas...the Walmart on 29th in Muncie has all the accessories except for the slide.

Thanks for posting this...I have relatives in this area, as this is where I am originally from. If I can't find the hamsters soon, I will have them on the lookout there. My brother is coming to visit in Oct., so he could even bring them w/ him!!

We have tons of Walmarts, Targets and a Toys R Us near us and I keep checking but have found nothing. Not even a space for them. Well, my DH and I went up to the mountains this weekend to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary. We never get away without the kids and here we were at the Glenwood Springs Walmart looking for Zhu Zhus!! We had to laugh, but we also lucked out cuz they had the funhouse, the car/garage and wheel! So we bought all 3 of course. We got the last wheel, but there was still 2 each of the others if anyone is in this area. We had to hide them in the stow n go area since we had to pick up the kids on the way home. Little did they know...

Its weird I haven't found them in the "suburbs" of Denver, but did in a touristy area!!

OMG!! I'm so bummed!! I just went to remove the ZZ's from the car to hide them and discovered we bought 2 wheels and no garage!! The only thing I can figure is it happened when I was looking for a good box on the garage and didn't look at the picture cuz they were each in their own seperate row, next to each other on the shelf. The wheel didn't have any boxes behind it so I grabbed that one. But I reached behind the row of garages to get a better box. I can't believe I didn't look closer at the picture!! Darn it...that store is 3 hours away so not going back there again...

labdogs42, I have looked at the Lehighton walmart and only found one ball and a snooze house? Just blank spaces where they should be. Looked at Target on cedar crest also and nothing? Walmart in hometown also. Blank hooks.

My DH found lots of items around lunch time. I found one thing in the evening and I have heard of people having good luck late at night. I would suspect that they stock the shelves late in the evening so getting there as they are put out or early in the morning would be best. Thus far people see to have better luck early in the day.

Found them at 7am at our WalMart. They told us to come in first thing in the morning for our best shot. DH stopped on his way to work and was able to get 4 different hamsters, and a few accessories (beds, house, car, wheel). He didn't grab too much, just enough to make a 5 year old happy He got there at 7:30 and he said it looked like people were there before him b/c things were thrown around a bit.

No hamsters at my Southwestern Ohio Walmart today. Still hunting hamsters. I did try Toys R Us yesterday too, but no luck. Glad for those who found them and pixie dust to those still looking.

Went to Walmart this AM @ 7:30. No Zhu Zhu's yet but they did tell me that the the garage is in the warehouse and should be in the store in the next day or two. I'll be going at 6AM fr the rest of the week since that's the one piece my DS really wants. AHHH, the things we do for our children.

I have found the empty hangers at the Whitehall Walmart, Trexlertown WM, and Whitehall ToysRUs! I'll let you know if I ever find any!

I have been looking in the Lehigh Valley as well. No luck yet.....however if you go to walmart.com or tru.com you can type in your zip and they will tell you if a store has them in stock. This has saved me a ton of gas!!!!
