Resort Thread Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT

I really enjoyed the duo studio the other week. The sink being right next to the door was a bit weird but the shower was great. Pull down bed very comfy (I left it down the whole time once I brought it down tbh). I wish it had a kitchenette sink, was weird washing my dishes in the "bathroom" one lol. But the space is used well.

Request 6th floor for premium view though. 6th floor is the highest up they go. I got that one after they stuck me with the awful first floor one and I went back to the lobby and asked to change. 8606 is the number, it was fantastic. Fireworks view is a bit strange but the balcony is big and if you turn left you can see the castle. Not my favorite TPV but still nice. If you look straight out you see CR. But the EWP view is perfect.

I had that room in April! Amazing view!

My family visited wailulu and despite florida being the surface of the sun this past weekend we thought it was excellent...however $3 a wing..oof... same price as the wings at Nomad...also thought the burger was top notch but may still prefer Geyser Points more. Really wanted to crash into the Moana pool area it was so hot.
I love the burger at Wailulu! I enjoy the steak sandwich at GP.

Nice we have good options !!!

Moving from cl to tower today . Duo studio premium view. There are only 7 of these and they are a row floor 1-7. Yay text says we got the 7th floor one.
Great job on getting the 7th floor Duo Studio. Did you have a request or just your Great Luck still happening for your short trip.

Exact same view mine had one floor down. Are those extra large balconies on the left hand side from the 2 bedrooms?
No there are (1) BR Villas on either sides of the 7th floor Duo Studio. I agree the pics make them seem massive, I took a double take. The (2) BR Villa has an even larger balcony aka (3) railing worth if that makes sense.

My bff was at BWI cl and mentioned we would be at poly. Her husband is the poly mgr so I am guessing that did it.

Or just luck because I did have 1st floor in April.

We ran to the pool and it was cooler and more enjoyable than oasis was Sunday.

The studio is small but for one night? Ok. We still have cl today on transfer day so I have my coffee cup wine of shame I carried in the heat for prior to appetizers. Too hot to run over there later for my pre dine wine, so I grabbed when we got back to the resort.

Betty Jo and Lawrence working. 2 of my fav CMs.

Here some pix of the view from Poly CL 1502 ! What a storm! The tiki light kept blowing out and the hammock was just spinning!
That is the type of quick rain that you might see on the Island of Hawaii (pun intended) out your window. If only they would remove those ugly over-water Bungalows that block the old view from the first floor of the Hawaii building.

Hope you're having a wonderful time!

A friend just shared some GF pics of the marina with dirt and debris and your aerial shot of the lagoon at Poly doesn't look much cleaner. Have you noticed the water is extra murky? I was even told there was a smell. That's alarming 😥 I wonder if it's the Rivers of America construction?!

Been on the boats without any issues👍

No I come down here year round, waters edge just gets green in the heat. From the boat dock it wasn’t noticeable just from my view.

20,000 steps a day but yep mom and daughter time has been fun.

I’ll get to eventually on Restaurant Threads about the Geo 82 Fireworks Experience. It was good but not great but we were glad we tried it.

She got engaged at Epcot so she loves Epcot ball things and the champagne glasses were so pretty!IMG_6184.jpeg
