I am so sorry to hear you had such a horrible experience at ND! We were considering it for our next trip, but could not fit it in - now I am glad it worked out that way!

Marsha had posted a pic on the alcohol thread about a drink called the Welsh Dragon from England...so I had to try one. We went into the jam packed pub and it was a mad house, lots of guys in there yelling and carrying on but I got my drink! It comes in a signature big plastic cup too. It is made with Midori, Peach Schnapps, OJ, Pineapple Juice and Creme de Menthe. HOLY MOLY this drink is insane! We loved it! Cannot wait to get it again!

This will be mine in October! ...I want that cup!

I really love that you are also including pics of the menus...it's great to get a peak at them!

Before I comment, I want to send Todd some get well pixie dust!

Ok, now time to make some quick comments:

Tony's: "Excuse me sir, would you like some pasta with your capers?" Sheesh! I find them pretty potent, and don't mind them used sparingly. I would have not like his dinner, either. The eggplant lasagna looked fantastic, though. At least you got a couple bites out of it.

Citrus Swirl: I always thought (conjecture on my part since I haven't tried it yet) it would taste like an Orange Dreamsicle. I would never have thought "baby aspirin", but I can totally understand why you might say that! I have always been turned off by Wint-O-Green Life Savers because they have the same taste as the old school gloopy liquid Pepto Bismol I took as a kid.

Welsh Dragon: Looks like this is popular among the lushy ladies who have posted before me. I am totally going to order this, sometime before or perhaps after Brenda buys me a France slushie drink.

Before I continue, I thought it was interesting that Todd has perfected the "bait and switch" technique on you. I can't believe he commandeered your bagel for his sandwich when he wasn't even supposed to get it in the first place. He still owes you, although it seems he's been plagued by bad food karma. More pixie dust.

Nine Dragons: There was a reason I avoided this place all these years, and I'm sad to see that even with recent changes, I should still avoid it. I had heard the best thing there was the banana dessert you had. Bummer that the rest was disgusting.

Sorry to hear Raglan Road was a disaster. Those meatballs looked awful!

The beignets, on the other hand, looked so yummy. And I'm definitely a New England fried dough fan vs. funnel cake. Might have to make a special trip...

Cali Grill looks delish. Sorry the view turned so watery but looks like the food made up for it. I see flatbreads back on the menu... weren't they off the menu for a while? (Yes, that totally identifies me as a DIS food porn addict).

Welsh Dragon. I wanted to try one anyway but now that I know there is a souvenir cup I REALLY want one!

So sorry Nine Dragons was such a disaster. That was nice of them to erase the bill. I wonder why Disney just can't seem to make that restaurant work?

Speaking of San Angel - wasn't that supposed to be having a refurb (and hopefully menu change) soon?

Cali Grill looks delish. Sorry the view turned so watery but looks like the food made up for it. I see flatbreads back on the menu... weren't they off the menu for a while? (Yes, that totally identifies me as a DIS food porn addict).

They were temporarily taken off the menu when the special oven for them needed repaired, IIRC.

It's drizzling here, but I'm off to watch youngest place in his softball game before he heads back to school to be at his job in the a.m. Also, DH and I are going to pinpoint our dates for our trip to Marco Island in September this week--will keep you posted. I'll be checking later to see how you and Todd are doing.

I can't believe I am just now finding this. I just love all of your reports! I am so sorry that you have had 2 bad dining experiances. Hopefully Todd will get to feeling better soon, being sick is never good especially on vacation. I can't wait to read the rest of the reports!

When we made our way to the countries I knew I had to get a Peach Snap from the Joy of Tea stand in China...here is a pic of the menu

It is not as bright a color as it used to be but the flavor is the same and that is the most important thing! Nice and cold, sweet but not too sweet....delish! If you like peach you will love this drink!

And to go with our drink DH had to get a pretzel from USA...he loves pretzel can ya tell? Nice and hot, not too salty, crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside

Sometime during all this we made it to Mexico to look at the dinner menu...surprise surprise it is not the one that is on the DIS site but the one that is on allears is correct and neither one of us wanted anything on the menu...so guess what? We cancelled it! The only thing open for dinner was Nine Dragons and that meant we had to cancel our ressie for ND tomorrow night but I got 50'S Prime Time instead and then I cancelled Beirgarten and booked Blue Zoo for Monday night...so thats three drinks you guys get to down!

I will have to get one of those welsh Dragon they look so good!

Sorry about Ralgan Road, I'm disappointed because I've always wanted to try that place. And, Nine Dragons even sounds worst. I'm sorry your Dh isn't feeling well. My kids always get sick on WDW towards the end of the trip. I have to be really careful and make sure they eat fruits and veggies or we pay with all that rich food.

I agree about the bread at Sunshine Seasons. Everytime we get a sandwich from there it is AWESOME...

You are giving me great ideas for our trip. We leave in 20 days!!!
