Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge Coming to former Reflections Site in 2027!

I have a feeling this resort will get a few comments/complaints similar to Boardwalk DVC - it looks like that arm of the building from the entranceway towards Pioneer Hall is quite long - maybe competing with Boardwalk's hallway length.

I'm still interested in the finished product and will want to try it out for sure, but agree it really should have been closer to Wilderness Lodge and farther from Pioneer Hall. The views alone are quite jarring, but also the beach that's been removed, the extra traffic that may use the Fort's boat dock, etc...for anyone staying at the far west end of LL, it would be closer/easier to walk over to Pioneer Hall for food, boats, etc.

I'll be at the Fort Wilderness Cabins in early February, so by then I expect Lakeshore Lodge to be pretty much looking in final form, if not yet open. I would most likely try to request certain banks of rooms that sit directly facing the lake without being in the U-curves where other balconies are looking at you - I prefer the feeling of privacy on a balcony as much as possible.

Thanks for your commentary mrsap. It helps me understand this project a bit better.
I’m sorry for any confusion, but I am just copying and pasting an article from a blog. I do not write these, just sharing information. If you click the highlighted titles, it will take you to the blog.

Even though I am very interested in the resort (not to buy), I fear it will be an eyesore like the PIT is when riding the monorail around.

As seen in the panorama photo above, the tent-like structures continue to be installed along the shoreline. These will be part of the Lakeshore Lodge hotel, but they are upcharge “bungalows” like we’ve seen at Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Here’s a closer look at the progress on these tent bungalows.

I've heard them called A-Frames, but hadn't heard tent bungalows. They can be tentalows 🤣
