thanks for letting me know I am not odd man out at CBR.
We stayed their in 09 and we were going to stay somewhere new this time, but the pool is awesome. My kids are fish, so a pool with 2 slides in the winner. I am so excited. I know its 6 months away but after making my ADRs to do I am just so excited.

So I had to revise my Itinerary. Dh pointed out that I broke my own rule of never bringing kids to the MK on the first day of longer trip! LOL I was so tickled he remembered me saying that 3 years ago!

OK so here is what I have:

I think I read somewhere that the HDDR is going to be closed for refurbishment during that time.

I remember reading that as well. But, when I called to book it, I had no problem doing so. And they didn't tell me it would be closed.

Disney keeps changing the dates for the refurb. First it was Aug - Sept, now it sounds like it won't start until October. We have ADRs for the HDDR on 8/31 and the last time I called (earlier this week), the confirmation # was still good. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Just wanted to share with all the September peeps! This is our 3rd trip in three years, and our girls still have no idea you can actually go inside and eat at the castle so we are so looking forward to surprising them with that!

Signing on to this thread for the first time. We actually made our September reservations in Oct 2011. 2 bedroom villa at BWV through DVC point rental. We will be there 9/14 - 9/23. This will be our 5th year staying at BWV in September. We love it. I also purchased our tickets through the Y.E.S program last week(wow what a savings). Now I am ready to make my ADRs. We do not have free dining so I don't have many to make but this is my plan so far:

9/14 - arrival No ADRs(BW pizza)
9/15 - HS - Sci Fi
9/16 - BW - Big River Grill - outside table(my fav)
9/17 - AK/MK - CS for dinner. Pirates League & Pirates and Pals Cruise
9/18 - MK - Royal Table for breakfast
9/19 - Down Day - Coral Reef(love that it is a 5 min walk to Epcot for dinner)
9/20 - EP - no ADR - dinner in the room(gotta take advantage of that kitchen
9/21 - MK - Crystal Palace
9/22 - HS - no ADR - dinner in the room

Can not wait to make my ressies tomorrow

This is a trip of a lifetime for my 25yo daughter and myself. We have both worked very hard and have lost 90 pounds each. I promised her if we lose weight that I would reward us with a trip to Disney. Also I will be turning 50 on 9/7 and have never been to Disney. I can't wait!

I wish there was a Disney weight loss board. I have gained 15 pounds since our trip last Sept. I really need to get it off before our Trip this Sept but am having trouble getting motivated. I remember the first time I went to Disney after losing 40 lbs. It felt amazing.

Booked our trip yesterday. Staying at the CBR from 09/01/12 - 09/06/12. Was lucky enough to get our ADRs, too.

09/01 - Le Celliar
09/02 - La Hacienda de San Angel
09/03 - 50's Prime Time Café
09/05 - Rainforest Café

No ADRs for 09/04 because we are going to head over to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. My daughter wants to go to the Wizarding World or Harry Potter.

This will be my daughter's 4th time at DisneyWorld. We have stayed at the CBR every time. I wanted to try something new, but its sooooo easy to go with what you know.

Looking forward to this trip....

We stayed there in 2009 and the pool won us over.

I made my ADR's today, I too had to call in at 7 (my 6AM)
I was ready on the computer at 6am (my 5)
I am VERY HAPPY I got all the ADR's I wanted

We are doing delux dinning this time, I wante do to CRT and MBYBBQ
We have a few day were we have 2 sitdowns a day, I heard not to do that but my kids are 7 & 5 and I want to get as much stuff in while they are still into it.

My DD15 & I will be staying at the CBR from Sept 1-6, 2012. CBR is the only resort we've ever stayed in. This will be our 4th visit. We love it. I do recommend the preferred rooms because the resort is so big. After walking around the parks all day, if you are not close to the food court and main pool its annoying to have to walk over there when all you want to do is relax after a long day! Have Fun!!!

I wish there was a Disney weight loss board. I have gained 15 pounds since our trip last Sept. I really need to get it off before our Trip this Sept but am having trouble getting motivated. I remember the first time I went to Disney after losing 40 lbs. It felt amazing.

We really enjoyed CBR on our last trip. The only reason we aren't going back is because I want to try something new.

I am hopeful we will stay longer at the Halloween Party this year...last Sept we left around 9:30 pm, the kids were already too tired and we were afraid we would miss the last monorail. But DH and I loved the atmosphere...it was awesome! The feel of the MK at night with all the halloween decorations up was the best!

I have been searching for a deal all day!! It is expensive for just one darn day!! Cheapest I could find was something for $138.45 per person including round trip transportation. I'm still debating... I am not a Harry Potter fan so it wouldn't hurt me if we didn't go, but my daughter really wants to go.

Thanks for adding me to the list. I have one change. We will be staying until 9/29. I think I looked at the calendar wrong when I made that post. Our total stay is 9/22 - 9/29/12. Thanks.

For the weight loss!!!! My DH just lost 85lbs and I am up to 17lbs. You and your DD are going to have so much fun!!!

I would love to stay at CBR, but with little ones, we want to stay somewhere a little more whimsical.

Here are our tentative plans and ADRs:
Sat 9/22: Drive 13 hours. Probably will be too tired to do anything when we arrive. Maybe tour our resort.
Sun 9/23: ADR 8:00am Cinderella Royal Table. No firm plans for the rest of the day other than touring MK.
Mon 9/24: Tour Epcot. ADR 6:00pm Akershus.
Tue 9/25: ADR 11:30am Whispering Canyon. Tour MK and MNSSHP. I don't know if I abbreviated that correctly. Where do I purchase tickets for this? Also, is this ok for 2 adults or is it mainly for kids?
Wed 9/26: Disney Studios. Hopefully will do the Fantasmic Dinner Package. Any suggestions on what restaraunt and what time I should schedule the ADR?
Thu 9/27: Tour AK. ADR 6:00pm O'Hana.
Fri 9/28: Open Park. Any suggestions on which park we should tour again. I didn't purchase the park hopper. I felt like we could do without it. ADR Chef Mickey 6:00pm
Sat 9/29: Up bright and early for our 13 hour drive home.

Any suggestion and constructive critism are welcomed.

We have changed our dates again. We booked our flights yesterday. We are still leaving on Aug 25th, but had to change our departure from Sept 19th to the 24th. Yeah, I know how hard is that to accept.

So, for the next 160 days I'll be working and saving money. And on the computer with the DIS.
