OFFICIAL - NON SPOILER Amazing Race: Unfinished Business Premieres 2/20/11

I saw an interview with Jamie and Cara. They said the clue said that the mandatory flight left once every 24 hours. So, if they missed the first mandatory flight, the next one was 24 hours later. Kent and Vyxin were lost for 11 hours! But by taking another flight and taking the 30 minute penalty, they actually came out better. It seemed that the clue was clear on the fact that they had to take that specific flight that left once every 24 hours. They also said that when they were lying about their car breaking down, they didn't blame them for taking the other flight and felt bad for them because they didn't think it was their fault. But once they found out the real reason was they got lost, that is when people got upset. I'm not a Jamie and Cara fan but the interview made sense. You can read it at realitytvworld dot com.

We were about 15 minutes behind due to basketball, but it was well worth it. This is turning out to be a great episode!

How is this so hard? It's tea....

I mean, I'm sure it'll get frustrating, but really, the hardest thing you've ever done??

At first I thought they all were looking for the same kind of tea but when the man had a chart to reference for each of the teams I am assuming they were all different. They went through a lot of tea, when will the bathroom breaks start!

That was amazing to see the men encouraging and supporting Luke, it was very heart-warming!

On another note- poor FT and BE could only do the art project, there was no way they would fit in one of the schoolbuses!!

Yes on both things...

Even though they weer not one of my favorite teams it was emotional to see them go...

I agree.

As for the cups--they were all looking for the same flavor. I believe the cups were coded with something on the bottom and the judge was referencing the chart to know if the cups were the correct tea they were searching for.

They were looking for the tea they drank before leaving China. They all had the same tea.

It was nice to see the men encourage him but I am happy to see them gone. I think they were a very rude team and played with a chip on their shoulders.

FT & BE showed just want really good men they are :goodvibes:goodvibes: I hope they turn it around and move to the front of the pack :wizard:

The support FT showed Luke at the elephant challenge tells me what a tough challenge he found the tea drinking. Yes it was just drinking tea - but all those cups would have been a ton of tea :scared1:

I was disappointed that it was Margie & Luke - she is one tough lady that must have had a difficult time raising a child with a disability - I commend both her and Luke for showing what can be done :goodvibes

I am ready for blonde and her dad to go home - want to talk about spoiled :rolleyes1 - they are indeed a "special team"

I know--the question was why the judge was looking in the book and I was stating that the bottom of the cup had some kind of code that he looked into the book that confirmed it to be the correct cup of tea or not. The cups looked exactly the same otherwise.

I think they all had different teas to "find" and there was a code associated with each of them thus why the man had to keep referencing the book and at the end Phil said that Snapple made 2 new teas with "all of the flavors" that you have been racing with this leg. JMHO

They were looking for the tea they had in China, mango - papaya I think. The bottom of the cup simply represented the number of the cup that matched that flavour. They had limited amounts of that flavour.

Yep, the cups couldn't very well say "Mango/papaya" on them. Even a simple code such as XYZ may have led to problems of teams copying an earlier team.

That's why the judge had to look up the codes. He probably couldn't memorize 8 correct codes, probably more, since most likely there were more than 8 cups of the correct brew.

Didn't like the Snapple tie-in, but understand why shows do it.

Ahhh, that makes sense. I was over-thinking that he kept checking the book.

::yes:: we thought that was great too. They were so supportive!

Sorry to see Margie and Luke go. I liked them a lot the first time around.

Funny how my perspective on the different teams is a little different this time around. For me, M&L weren't as likeable this time. I couldn't stand Kisha and Jen the first time, but they are fine this time. Mallory seemed funny and cute her first season, but this time she seems over the top, and getting annoying.

I was a little surprised Mallory didn't find the right tea quicker. Most of the teams just threw back their tea so fast at tea shop in China, but she seemed to savor it more. Watching that, I expected her to remember the flavor better than the other teams.

I still want to see Ron go, but after them, I don't know, I wouldn't mind seeing any of the others win.

I'm not sad to see Margie & Luke gone. Mallory and her Dad are OK by me - my favs are the Cowboys. Ron & Christina & the Goths can go too. Like the Globetrotters, the sisters & Justin & Zev.

Really - the tea - did they have to drink the complete cup of tea to have the guy check it? Some were smart and smelled the cup to try and at least smell fruit. I'm not convinced that they had to drink the entire cup in order to have it checked by the Tea Checker.

:thumbsup2 Those men were fabulous with him. Personally, I find Luke whiney when he gets frustrated, and that's annoying as well.

I loved how quickly Ron figured out to smell the tea first, and I was surprised how long it took the others to do the same-especially Mallory who had savoured the tea in China.

Acording to CBS's website, they could identify the tea by sight or smell, but had to drink the tea in order to present the auctioneer with an empty cup. If you watch FT, you will see he would take a small bit into his mouth, but let the rest dripple down his chin. I have seen this done over the seasons, when it was a drinking challenge. About the only one that I can think of that nobody let the drink go to waste, was the boot of beer. I didn't see Luke doing it and he had to be suffering for it. That much tea and I would have had to puked a couple of times.
