OFFICIAL - NON SPOILER Amazing Race: Unfinished Business Premieres 2/20/11

That Brazilian wax challenge was cruel, even for AR. I'm fairly hairy and I remember doing a sleep study where they had to use an adhesive to keep the connectors attached to me. It was not fun when they had to be pulled off and that was nothing compared to what Zev and Justin had to go through. When Justin said he was going to punch someone, I could sympathize. And considering how even tempered they'd been through most of the race, that exhibited more than anything how painful that was. That definitely gave an advantage to the women.

Oh, and whomever asked, it'll grow back within two months :lmao:

Me three. Who did you want to win? I wanted the Globetrotters to win. :sad1:

I didn't mind that the girls won, they were just so lowed keyed this time around. I give credit to the girls for over coming some of their obstacles. The swimming one could of done Keishain , or was it Jen, that didn't know how to swim. Going under and putting your head in the bubble, my dh could never had done that. I could.

When Mallory and her dad had to go to the island, did the water level raise, or was it more windy.

I can't believe the GT, didn't make up time on the 7 mile bridge. I guess at that point I was rooting for the GT.

I really want to do the undersea thing, with the personal sub and mermaids and band playing. That looked like a lot of fun.

I felt sorry for Zev and Justin having to go through that waxing with SO MUCH HAIR! :scared1: The other teams definitely had an advantage over them in that challenge. And then after enduring all that pain, they end up getting eliminated. :sad1:

At first I thought the less-hairy teams were going to have an advantage, but it seems that everyone had to endure it for 15 minutes, so aside from pain, it was fair.

I watched the first hour and then flipped to celebrity aprrentice thinking it was done, today I find out that it was a 2 hour finale haha oops!

Anyways I'm happy that Kesha and Jen won, I didn't really like them the first time but they were a lot nicer this season.

I would love to see a celebrity edition next.
I think that would be fun but the celebrities that would be willing to race would probably be mostly no names that we would have to be research to find out why in the world they were celebrities.

FWIW, I was happy the girls won, since the boys got eliminated. I definitely didn't want the GT to win, and would have been fine except old Mallory showed up in the cab (whining over and over), so I was rooting for the cabbie to pull over and throw her out.

I didn't like them their first season either. They didn't get a lot of TV "time" this season. I wonder if they were indeed "nicer" or those parts just weren't shown. I wated Mallary & her Dad to win. I think they could have if they hadn't gotten such a lousey driver.

That would have been awesome!!! :rotfl2:

Mallory: "ooooo, PLEASE!!!!!!"
me: Grrrrrrrr, shut. up!!!

like nails on a chalkboard. I originally felt bad for them but her incessant obnoxious whining "please" just turned that right around for me.

That would have been awesome!!! :rotfl2:

:thumbsup2

I was really hoping the GT would have won but, after hearing the sisters' interview, meh, they probably need the money a bit more than the GT do. I'm sooo glad that FT & BE made it to the end, though - love those guys!

I have to say that for these type of shows, who needs the money more is never an issue for me. I frankly don't care.

It's probably my way of dealing with the GTs coming in 2nd. Rationalizing my disappointment away. :upsidedow

I was hoping the GT's were going to win. I didn't like Keisha and Jen their first season at all. I can say they didn't bother me as much this time around but I can't say I liked them either. As for Mallory I understand her frustration but I wish someone would have stuck a sock in her mouth.

I was glad the GTs didn't win but otherwise I agree with you. I do like what they planned to do with their winnings though. It is a good way to pay back a great mom.:wizard:
