She said she talked to Disney themselves and they said they would allow free dining for the lenght of the stay as long as you check in by the 20th.![]()
This is in reference to the post on page 64 from the travel agent's daughter. It gave a code for Disney Visa holders- will it be the same for non-Visa holders? If not, where would the other code come from?
Another question- I have a 40% off code for my room, but haven't booked yet. Should I go ahead and book before April 7 when FD is opened? Will all the rooms be taken??

Thats what I thought it was but I couldn't remember. Hopefully it will be the same this year!Last year it was 14 nights. In 2006 it was 10 nights.
Okay, so I need some advice...
My AAA TA said she would call Monday for me to see if free dining will definitely be offered. But she never asked me for my visa number. Should she have?? She said that she would keep me updated however. I'm trying to debate if I should just depend on her or wake up early and call and probably end up on hold until I have to go to work. Another thing that I am debating about is that my TA told me of another offer happening on Thursday through them that could be even better. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should do??? Is it easy to cancel ressies through Disney? And can you have the ressie switched from Disney to AAA so they can handle everything else?

Without knowing more info, it's hard to give you an answer. So the math teacher in me takes over: here's how to determine which is a better deal:
Get your calculator and some paper and pencil.
a) Find the price per night of your resort. If you don't have it handy, www.mousesavers.com can give it to you. Multiply (the cost per night) by (0.4) by (the number of nights you're staying.) This, excluding tax, is the amount you would save with the PIN.
b) Now figure the free dining savings.
1) Take the number of adults in your room. Multiply: (# of adults, 10 and over) by (40) by (number of nights you're staying.)
2) Take the number of kids, aged 3-9. Multiply: (# of kids)by (10) by (number of nights you're staying.)
3) Add steps 1 and 2.
That's the amount you're saving under the dining plan.
Go for the amount that's larger. For us, the difference was $34, so I'm OK with not getting free dining-- I'm hoping the crowds will wait the extra week or so to get it.
How funny; I didn't even read that as a "real person" (ie: adult, instead of one of my students) would see it.
My apologies!![]()
