Thank you everyone for all of your warm wishes. I can't begin to express, just how wonderful you are to me and how it makes me feel. Thank You! Thank You!
After I started writing last week, I again was struck with terrible news. This time a classmate passed away from Cancer. She was all of 34 years, leaving a beautiful child behind who is a spitting image of herself.
I have been so ready to come back and start writing. Let me tell you, it is hard to start writing, when you haven't for a while. It seems my brain isn't functioning as well. I hope that after I get this short installment out, things will come more easily to me.
High jacking the Handicap Pad
After our lovely or not so lovely meal with our Pal Pooh and his gang we were off to see us some nighttime parade action, Spectro Style. We headed for a last minute spot in Fronteirland, but were quick to realize that the crowds were a bit thicker than expected…or maybe it was the meal with Pooh took us much longer than anticipated. Whatever the cause, it was already very dark; people were lining the streets at almost every piece of street front pavement. The only exceptions that I could see were 2 spots, one spot, in front of the Hall of the Presidents…which would have made us cross the roped off line to attempt to get to it before another family nabbed it. The other spot was much more attractive, almost directly across the street from the Hall of Presidents. The only downfall was the massive light that protruded directly above the HOP, which seemed to spotlight the entire area, which we were sitting. I was hoping that the light would dim prior to the parade, so that we could get some photos without being blinded by the light. (Blinded by the li..ght… so now that tune is stuck in my head…Blinded by the liiight….)
Before I proceed I need to make a statement of my soberness. I swear…I had not had anything to drink that evening. Remember no alcohol is served in
The MK.
Back on topic-
Being the navigator of the family, I squeezed my doublewide right in a perfect 4-foot opening. But I didn’t park my behind before asking the nice man and his father who were parked next to the empty spot if it would be okay if we sat by them. The older man told me, “Please, feel free to sit there, No one else is.” That was a direct quote out of the nice man’s mouth.
I am a firm believer in Disney curtsey. You never know when there is more people in a party then immediately appear in your view. There is always the chance that one or more members could be taking a potty break or running to get a yummo Dole Whip or Funnel Cake.
I know…I try to be nice…
Sometimes…
Well, at least when I am at Disney.
Again…back on topic-
My DH made himself comfortable standing directly behind the doublewide, I kept the kiddos in the doublewide and sat myself next to my Lil’l Diz Man. I had my camera in hand, so I was ready to capture one of the most Spectacular Parades, Disney has to offer. We had no more than 5 minutes before show time. I made some great conversation with the nice men seated next to us, while we waited. The older of the men was seated on one of those motorized scooters. He kept asking if we could see well enough and had enough room. I thanked him for being so thoughtful and in return asked if it would be okay to poke up in front of him every so often to try to capture some pictures of my kiddos watching the parade. He agreed and told me that was a great way to remember this special place.
My Lil'l Diz...with the look of... 'What is that?'
My princess waving to the princess.
You can see by my pictures that the 'Blinded By the Light'.... was dimmed.

Is it stuck in your head? It is in mine!
When the parade was over, we gave our parade neighbors the regulatory, “Have a magical trip and smile.” I again thanked him for letting us invade his parade space. My DH & I let the crowd thin a bit before we embarked from our location. It was just as we were leaving that I saw the sign.
The sign of doom…
The sign stating that the area that we were seated in was for Handicap viewing.
OUPS!
Call me a ditz, ignorant…well anything…
I swear I never realized just where we were seated until after it was too late.
I am an offender.
I admit it.
I really didn’t try to be.
I do apologize, if we took someone’s spot.
I really don’t think we did though.
Really.
I think.
After the guilt wore off, we headed to BTMRR. After our nice ride though the Wild West we hightailed it to Main Street for a prime viewing spot of my all time favorite nighttime display of magic. Wishes.
Waiting for Wishes.
