Oh goodness... You are all so incredibly wonderful! I have poked in and read and re-read your comments & PM's during the down times over the last few days. Let me tell you they really have put a wonderful feeling in me... just when I really needed it.
I wanted to share what we know so far.
She has 2 tumors in her spine, both are very close to touching her spinal cord. There is a spot on her liver and some 'oddities' in her lungs (which is where they think it came from). The doctors believe that she has had this cancer for a long time and it is now stage IV (the final stage). She started her first batch of Radiation today. We found out that Radition leaves a tatoo like mark where it enters, so she now has 4 tatoo's.

We will meet with the Oncologist on Thursday to get a final cancer plan and prognosis, but have been told that what ever treatments she does, will just prolong her life and not cure the cancer.
We know we are briging her to the best place possible. Even the President of Iraq is there now.
We do not live close to the Mayo (it is in Rochester, MN) but we have driven there every day and will continue for 2 weeks of radiation. It is about a 2 hour drive, which has turned into great family time. Boy who would have thought that sitting in a car for 2 hours would be great family time.
I think the shock is over. I am coming to deal with it...what ever that means.
I do plan to try to DIS a bit. It really helps get my mind off of things. I also started to SUDUKO. While we wait for her to finish MRI's and other tests, the whole family does them...it is rather cute.
My appologies for rambling. It just feels good.
Thank you so much for all of your support.
